When I tried to discuss the pricing, Jose was rude, talked over me, and even said he had "Googled my home" to justify the charge. I have been using Mary's Cleaning Service on a weekly basis since October 2018 so this review is long overdue. Prior to using them, I had gone through 3 other cleaning companies with mixed results. (One cleaner came at sporadic times due to traffic; the other was defensive when certain issues were brought up, and so forth). My only requirements were consistency in the cleaning, honesty and willing to listen/make improvements. Based on these, I have been very pleased with Carmen and her crew. I do understand that sometimes little things will be accidentally skipped such as a garbage can here or there or a closet mirror. Nobody is perfect but whenever I've had any sort of issue, I am comfortable talking to Carmen about it. She is apologetic and willing to make it right next time. Besides doing an excellent cleaning job, Carmen is sincere and trustworthy. In the time I've used her, she has located misplaced cash and jewelry under the couch as well as dealing with a host of other issues. (On one occasion, she accidentally broke one of my plates. She brought me a replacement the very next week). Additionally, her team does a detailed job with deep cleanings as well (they did both my move-out and move-in jobs in 2019). I have been through two maids. The first two did a great job for about a year and then just stopped doing a good job. The second one was awful. This team came to my house this morning with three people and cleaned everything, even the fans! They moved out all the furniture cleaned underneath everything, dusted properly, bathrooms just perfect and even left cute toilet paper roll flowers. My house looks like I cleaned it. Gave me a itemized quote for three services: window cleaning + screen replacement, carpet shampoo, and garage powerwash. Later we agreed on doing only the first two. Sent me a guy with information that the total amount remained the same for windows+carpet. even in that, he told me that he does not do screen replacement, and would only install new "pre-framed screens". still quoted me more than the agreed upon amount for much less service. had no choice but to turn him away! read more
