In addition, I wanted 10-12 hedge/creeping plants to cover a 2ft high wall next to my driveway. I was very focused on the 2ft wall high plants. I already had asparagus and wax leaf plants that provide a hedge and covering another 2ft high wall in front of my house. But I wanted something that would flower and not be deciduous in the colder months. I had asked one salesperson in the office for a suggestion on a plant that is fast growing and the could function as a hedge and cover a 2ft high stack stone wall. He told me that the asparagus and wax leaf was a choice but would be difficult to train to cover the wall. He told me to look around. I began looking, and was trying to remember my list of plants to buy. I started walking to the sales office when another man (an older man)asked if I needed help. When I asked this man for suggestions regarding the 2ft wall, he told me that I was asking him to be my gardner. He pointed to some tiny plants but didn't state what they were. I told him I would like bigger plants that flower. He told me that I was wasting his time, he sells to the city of Hemet and did not need my business. I said ok, and left. As I was walking to my car, he said I wasted his time a few more times. I will never go back to this nursery. Shout out to Moon nursery in Murrieta who helped me out and were amazing!!

When I I arrived at MEM Nursery first thing when exiting my car was a friendly looking gentleman by the name of "Miquel" he introduced himself and immediately started asking questions what I was thinking about for my yard and educating me what I needed as opposed to what I wanted because of the area that I live in. From there on, it was a match made in a big Ole Green House... lol! The service was great! He happened to be the owner, and MEM Nusery did the whole installation at my home. Paul's trusted foreman Ramon and his crew worked extremely hard, they did not cut any corners and took pride in their work. After three days my backyard was totally transformed. I am extremely grateful I met Paul and his team. I highly recommend you hire Paul for any landscaping need. In case you are wondering Paul removed my old grass and weeds, installed St Augustine sod, cleanup my slope and plann, trimmed my trees and removed some palms that were damaging my brick wall. Installing sod is a process labor task when done right. You have to kill all the old grass and weeds and then remove it all until all you have dirt. Once that is done you work on the irrigation system to ensure you have water spread out evenly all throughout the ground with proper drainage. Finally, you add fertilizer to the soil and then lay down the sod which is best installed the same day it was cut. Check out my before and after pictures.

If you're looking for quality plants AND customer service, go elsewhere like Curby's Nursery in Temecula. There is always someone willing to help and even load up your plants. Pricing may be $1 or so more, but it's worth it to me to have decent customer service.
