This past week we bought a tree and had the Nursery deliver and plant it. The employees were great, went over the watering and fertilizing, and were very nice. It's close to where I live but it's not the most inexpensive place. Also, like most small businesses these days, they are passing on the 3% credit card fee onto their customers. I think this sucks because businesses never use to do this. There were three people working there, one girl outside. She did greet us very quietly but didn't offer any help. We walked around and bumped into another employee who asked if we needed help. I asked him where the lemon trees were and he happily helped us. We then went inside the building and got some fertilizer. The other guy, cashier, was nice enough. But when it came to paying I told him I was paying with Apple Pay. After the transaction went through, he informed me that I got charged the 3% CC fee. I was a bit put off because I could have pay with cash. But we just said 'no worries' and walked out. On our way out, I overheard him say 'I'm sick of people complaining about paying the 3%fee' or something to that effect. He could have waited until we were well out of earshot to complain about us. read more

They have absolutely nothing in the way of "INDOOR "plants that are worth purchasing! Most of their offerings are Outdoor plants, trees, etc. It's a shame that no one there seems interested in Indoor plants. We have spent a lot of money there, but as you enter the store, it's almost devoid of being appealing for Indoor plants. read more

First timer here! The staff here was really pleasant and welcoming. They have tons of great outdoor plants that look well taken care of. I went in to see if they had any indoor plants. I rather buy from a local business than from a big box store. Although they didn't have a ton of selection, everything they did have was real nice. And what I loved most is that all their plants were labeled with their proper name and nicknames . You know, so you can look up all the care the plant will need once you take it home. I brought home a String of Pearls and a couple of the 1 gal. nursery pots. They did mention they restock on Thursday's and Friday's for those interested to see what come in. On this particular day I was assisted by Beau, who is an awesome example of the great customer service provided here and an enthusiast of horticulture. I had decided on some great specimens but also had my eye on some others but didn't have the right vehicle to carry them all. Being new to the area I found Cagliero on Google. Went there to purchase some drought tolerant plants, soil, etc. Staff is very knowledgeable, well versed, and very helpful! Use to love this nursery they do take care of their plants. But after an encounter with the owner I refuse to do business here any longer. Unethically swapt out a tree I purchased, they insisted on keeping it, to make sure it rooted. I had my daughter as witness when I purchased and picked up. He called us liars and insulted with out provocation. He went as far to say, do you have a pictures? Who does that, I guess I was too trusting. I did have a bad feeling about that day I purchased the bonzai peach tree. When I picked it up, he gave me a bonanza peach tree. I found another nursery recently, lucky same distance from my home just other direction and they told me yes they do have bonsai peach trees and they are not similar at all to bonanza peach trees. But I'm happy this happened, I found this new nursery and I realized my new nursery is much bigger, with better selections and a lot cheaper in price but most of all people their are very ethical. Just bought new house and was working on complete landscaping. So cagliero ranch lost a huge revenue. read more

I am so happy to have found this family owned and operated nursery. The owner Joe and daughter Rose are so friendly and knowledgeable, along with the rest of his staff. I purchased flowers and veggies for my garden. This is the best gardening year I've ever had. Their veggie plants are quality. Normally by now my tomatoe plants would have green horn worm on them. Not this year! My plants have stayed healthy and happy! Did I mention their prices are just right too! If you want to support local business and have healthy plants I would shop here! read more

This is the best nursery I've been to and I've been to a lot of nurseries. Me and my husband stopped by there today. Their plants are very well cared for and soon as we stepped someone was called to help us. Chancey helped us he was very knowledgeable and helpful and he went above and beyond to answer all our questions. Very impressed with this nursery. All of the plants and trees I buy from here are always fresh and healthy. I have never had anything not flourish after I planted. The staff is very nice and knowledgeable. I had trouble with a tree one time a couple years after I planted. It nearly perished but they told me exactly what to do and it came back and is doing better than ever. read more

This nursery is a throwback to the good old days. It's well-stocked, the workers are friendly and knowledgeable, and the grounds are pretty. They have lots of walkways through their garden, decorated with old farm implements and antique yard art. Lots of giant shade trees and places to sit and admire the inventory or consider a purchase. I've been going there for 5 years now, and it's consistent. If I have a problem with my garden, I can take them a clipping and they'll help me figure it out. Frustrated with Lowe's and Home Depot not having what you're looking for ever I was looking for a specific Rose a double delight after a Google search I realize they are only a few blocks away from where I live I called them up on the phone out of the blue and asked do you have a double delight rose bush They answered we have a couple but our roses aren't ready yet so I got in my van and was expecting not very much and then I realized I was surrounded by rosebushes when I went out into the yard they had hundreds of rosebushes all in good health I Purchased two roses the double delight in a 5 gallon bucket and a Mr. Lincoln in a 5 gallon bucket I looked at all the other roses I wish I had room for but these two will do I'm checking out And realize I saw my friend Rhonda Working to check out who I've known for years Quality people quality plants you get what you pay for and they guarantee roses in weeks and I can vouch for that God bless you all peace be with you all thank you read more

I took in a branch of unknown rose type vine that I picked from a neighbors plant. They knew what it was and showed me to the inventory stock they had on hand. They didn't have the color I wanted but ordered it for me and I was able to pick them up the next week. Not one plant died so the plants must have been perfectly healthy and prepared for transplantation into the ground. They are growing like weeds in spite of August heat. These guys are knowlegable, helpful and courteous - a fine example of old fashioned good business!! read more

The staff is pleasant and helpful. The grounds are well kept and organized. I would recommend any plant person or gardener to stop by and visit this location. I will definitely come back in the future, I spotted a few plants that I would love to purchase in the future. The only negative opinion I have is the house plants are on the the expensive side, especially considering that there are a lot of retailers that sale house plants at a fraction of the price. read more

Love this nursery! I had searched everywhere in Temecula, Murrieta, and Menifee for a particular plant (no one had it) --and these guys had several! Their prices were competitive, the entire nursery was clean and pretty, and all of the plants were healthy and well taken care of. The staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I have lived near Cagliero's for several years and although intrigued I had always avoided going in because I mistakenly assumed they would be expensive. Wrong! They have lovely plants and they are actually quite affordable. Each time I have gone there friendly staff members have gone out of their way to be helpful without overdoing it. One young lady even insisted on carrying my tray of plants out to my car.. and she put plastic under it to protect my trunk. They also have a newsletter with tips about plants, and special sales. read more

I love this place because of the selection, its beautiful to go in. The staff is just amazing, they can help with soil problems to creating that English or zen garden you want. Me, well a new homeowner, and I cannot wait to have trees delivered for the front. The staff, tells me I get the trees delivered and planted for me. Really, and the price to that is so low. They treated us well. They advised us on what types of plants would be good considering our needs. Their prices were good and they seemed to have a good selection.
