Please wait for your therapist to come get you. At 2:15 pm my therapist Kavitha called me stating we had an appointment at 2pm. I state yes, I've been waiting in the waiting room for 25 min. Told I'm in the wrong waiting area; that's not her waiting area. Well how am I suppose to know. It's my 1st visit. Filled out pelvic floor questionnaires on their website, then a portal sent via email, then the therapist reviewed my answers with her. Before I was leaving I was handed the same questionnaire and asked to complete it before I left. Then she asked me if I had sessions scheduled already. Now why would I schedule sessions when it was my first time being there and evaluated. I was referred there for pain management in my left side due to a fluid cyst. Therapist spent more time on my 27 year old c section scar area that has never caused me pain or discomfort. She wanted to do an internal exam. I declined. She said well maybe next session I'll feel more comfortable and will give her permission. I told her no; it'll never happen. I arrived w/o pain; left with chronic pain on my left side where the internal cyst is located. Not sure if I want to give it another chance. Gut feeling it's not for what I need. Started off either way way too many negatives.

You WILL laugh and joke and chat and feel like you made a friend, and leave her business sort of stunned that you got all that plus a fantastic wax. You don't have a choice. Because Kat is THROUGH. I have never had a wax this smooth or this complete. She even denuded my lower belly ("this happy trail is not so happy") and parts of my upper thighs I'm too lazy to always shave ("it's messing up my masterpiece"). She used three different kinds of wax and was intensely efficient without ever making me feel rushed. She also didn't make me feel like a fat glob of rolling and undulating lard deposits, as is so often the case for big girls when we get waxed. She asked me to hold some of my skin tight, but I never felt grotesque or like I didn't belong there. I also had much less irritation than I've had with other wax experiences, and I really like that she didn't tell me to come back in four weeks. Six to eight. That seems so much more rational, manageable. Very refreshing. Bottom line: go see Kat. Your confidence will skyrocket ... but it might be difficult to resist the urge to show everyone how dang smooth you are down there.
