I tore my hamstring and it's been a constant battle for the past decade. Run, tweak, rest, run a little slower, tweak, rest. Run a lot slower, and yup, tweak again, and then just sit around feeling sorry for yourself for getting old. Next thing you know, you can't break a 10 minute mile without fear of tweaking again. That's like a fast walk! So I spent a total of 15 minutes being stretched and poked a little. Not sure what happened really. Went downstairs and jogged for about two minutes and I felt fine. I asked how many more treatments I'd need. "Zero, I hope. You should be good to go." So I'm a week out and it's winter here so managed a couple treadmill sessions at the local Y. Didn't want to be greedy, but did some interval training at 8:30 pace and NADA. No tightness. No twinge. Nothing. Pain FREE! It's like voodoo magic. Will try to work my way up, but it's literally the most too good to be true, but it really is true moment I've experienced in a long time! We were informed on the website, by the staff and by a large sign in the waiting room that this appt would be longer than 30 min appt and would involve thorogh evaluation and treatment including adjustment heat and stim. Dr Solla was running 30 min late which I accepted since it was his first day. He was personable and knowlegeable . however after @15 min he gave my daughter exercises to do at home and stretched her for less than a minute. This cost 120 out of pocket. When I contacted Dr medwin she was dismissive, defensive and unconcerned. She said her website needed to be revised and would take sign down. I do not recommend this practice
