They take time to diagnose, discuss, and apply sensible programs. They keep on the ball by tailor-making the procedures and then "up the stakes" as the client improves. The person's needs and abilities are honored; yet there is also firm and respectful nudging to up his or her efforts. Conor, Joe, and Trish have friendly personalities. Over the years I've gone to many PT providers. These are the best! Dr. Traudt examined my needs and correctly directed me into PT. After that, he cordially keeps in touch with words of advice and support. Dr. Fitzgerald is taking excellent care of my wife, and shares her care with PT Trish. Although I had worked with several physical therapists over the course of four months, my primary physical therapists were Ashley and Michaela. They were both exceptionally attentive to my needs and encouraged me continually. Since going, I've been able to correct my gait (I had been shuffling), I learned how to go up and down stairs without fear, I learned how to get up and down from a chair without assistance, and after less than three months was able to put my socks and sneakers on and tie them without assistance. Additionally, the office staff at Columbia are pleasant to work with and someone always acknowledged my presence upon arrival.
