31 july 2025 I feel like I was ripped off by this service. I dropped my car off in the morning, around 10 a.m., and they kept it all day, not returning it until after 5 p.m. They charge $125 per hour, so it seems in their best interest to keep your car as long as possible. The only service I had done was an amp installation, and all the equipment was already in the car. The bottom line is they kept my car all day and charged me $900. I want to support small businesses, but not this one--this is a ripoff. I took my wife's car to Best Buy for the same service, and it cost $389 to install the same equipment, plus the same warranty, and it was done in three hours. I do not recommend this place; they are overcharging customers. Just go to Best Buy--they take care of you, have fair prices, and do honest work. read more

Customer service, could improve! Stop by this spot today as it is near my home to get my amplifier checked out in my truck, the owner told me it would be $65, ok cool! When finished he told me the amp was bad which I suspected which he quoted me over retail price ok cool, I'm heavy into music so I know where I can get this amp cheaper from my hook ups and asked how much to just install it once I bought it back. The owner asked "why are you keeping secrets" and proceeded to ask where I was getting the amp from. After about 2 mins of this I told him this is just business not personal and he refused me service. After I told him I'm just a business man too and I'm literally paying for convenience and you should have quoted me your best price from the beginning he told me it's his shop and he can do what he wants and he is refusing my service because I will not let him get over on me. Buyer beware! Even nice friendly people can do you wrong. I went into the location for a price to install a dual camera dash cam and I was quoted $375 but he'd discount it to $325. As I had no idea what the charge should be and the owner seemed so friendly, I paid a $100 deposit for an appointment but it just didn't sit right with me so I decided to cancel and chalk that $100 up as a learning experience. Great experience with MAS. Walked in, talked to Matt at the front desk about getting a touchscreen, Carplay system installed in my Toyota. I was given an estimate for a nice Pioneer system that was perfectly reasonable in terms of cost. They were able to get in installed for me within a few hours. I had MAS Audio install a stereo/speaker/backup camera about a 1.5 years ago. They were very informative, listened to my needs and made relevant suggestions. I chose to have them do the full install. Everything worked great for about a year. (Could be off on the dates) One day the backup camera just stopped working. I called MAS Audio and the gentleman helped me out - he said they guarantee all their products and to bring it in at my earliest convenience. I ended up dropping the truck off the next morning and they fixed the problem. He explained the wire had been soldered too much and was causing the picture to be not clear and that one of the connection wires got disconnected from the reverse lights. Now, fast forward to today (about 4 months later), I came out of work and my radio produces no sound. I unhooked my battery cables, still nothing. I called MAS audio and once again I heard the PHENOMENAL customer service..."bring it in first thing in the morning and we'll get it fixed for you!" I have arranged to bring it in Saturday to get it fixed. I must say, I didn't anticipate two separate issues to occur with the products; however, MAS Audio has provided top notch customer service. Some would be pissed off about the defective equipment, but I am just very impressed about the customer service I have received. They stand by their work, admit their faults and correct them to the customer's COMPLETE SATISFACTION! I will take ALL my audio need to MAS Audio and will recommend them to anyone! read more

Setup: I just purchased a new, 2017 Audi A6. I also purchased a new dash camera system from Amazon (Thinkware F770) because of the glowing reviews it was getting on the Internet. I know dash cams are relatively new to the US, but they are quite commonplace overseas and I wanted one as protection/backup in case my new car suffered damage in an accident or while parked. Anyway, now I had the car and the electronics, I needed a competent and quality installer. I wanted the wires hidden and the installation to look professional - as if Audi did the work rather than some shade tree operation. I found MAS Auto during my normal Google web searches of local car electronics installation companies. Others installers tried to talk me out of the Thinkware product and wanted me to use what I consider an inferior product - mostly because they've not had experience with the F770. MAS wasn't concerned and simply asked that when the system arrived if they could have the box a day or two beforehand so they could familiarize themselves with its operation and installation. Because I purchased the product on my own, they were simply going to charge me the straight hourly rate for the installation, which I of course thought was fair. I brought them the box early and they began to examine its capabilities. Then, when my first install date came, I had to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances. They didn't hesitate to reschedule me for later in the week, so I appreciated the flexibility. Install day came and I couldn't have been happier. I dropped the car off at 9:30 am and returned at 1:30 pm to see my car out front, with the dash cameras (front and back) installed and ready for me to test. I downloaded the Thinkware's app for my iPhone and connected with the unit. My installer had also done the same, as he perfectly aligned the lens so as to capture the full view from my front and back windshield. I honestly expected to return to MAS with the application on my phone and with my installer, complete the setup.. Because of his pro-activity, the system was completely set up and waiting for me to drive away! I'll try to include videos of the front and back camera so you can see the quality as well as pics of the installation. From the driver's seat, other than slightly seeing two wires, it is nearly impossible to see the front camera. And, due to the configuration of my headliner in my Audi, the rear camera is almost completely hidden from view. Again, I couldn't be happier with the installation and service I personally received from MAS. I also purchased a vehicle for my wife and want to repeat the same installation of a dash cam for her car as well. For that second system, I will definitely return to MAS and highly recommend them. read more

A little late in responding, but I kept my receipt since my service in February 2018 to make sure I gave this shop a great review. I have a 2017 Tundra that did not have enough volume or bass for my likings. The owner was super honest, very expedient, and made absolutely sure I got what I was looking for. After he initially installed what I thought would suit me, it did not and he went out of his way to book me in again to add another small periphery that made a drastic improvement. I would absolutely recommend this shop, primarily because the owner is 100% about customer service and clearly was not in it to make an extra dollar. He gave us his honest recommendations that were definitely not the highest end equipment, because I specifically told him I'm not looking to enter any contests or blow my windows out. :-) Overall a great experience. Got a Pioneer 1400 touch screen for my Kia Soul had a couple of adjusment issues which MAS each time fixed the issue along with a firmware update my Apple Care Play is working great. Backup Camera is awesome feels wierd if I'm in a car that doesnt have a backup camera. Went back couple weeks ago and had a Remote Starter installed which I really like alot gotta say it's kinda cool being able to warm up the car in the am without going outside and leaving it running for a quick run into the store with no worries of anyone stealing the car. I waited until the last minute to try to get a remote start system in my girlfriend's Xterra for Christmas. I had called a couple other places, but would have to wait until after the holidays. I wandered into MAS and was greeted by Armando. I told him what I wanted and he immediately showed me what they had, answered all my questions and went out of his way to make sure this was done before Christmas. Dropped it off a couple days later and they had it done by lunchtime. Armando took his time and carefully explained the operation to my non-technical GF, both by showing her and by having her go through all the options. It's a small storefront, but big on customer service. I wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend them to others. AND the best part? Do not go here. Your best off going to Best Buy. I've been coming here for a while and do things base on what they suggest. Long story short the Spanish guy checked out my system. Told me I needed a new amp. He wanted to charge me 500 for a new amp and charge labor to install it. He was going to hook me up and do it on the side. I said no, let me think about it. I went out and bought a new one for 250 at Best Buy and hooked it up. It didn't work. I took it back for them to check it because they installed my systems. Both the Asian and Spanish guy came out. We all were in the back, the Spanish guy was acting funny. Me and the Asian guy went to the front for a min. I came back and saw the subs moving a little. So I put the volume up and it was working. So I was happy. I went home to put everything away and something told me to check the other amp. One of my friends told me an amp really doesn't go bad that often. When I hooked up the amp they said didn't work it started to work. It's been in my car now for two months. I was mad!! I went back and told the Asian guy, the manager/owner what happen and he had a dumb look on his face. I explained to him what happened and how his employe try to get me on a side deal and that he most likely messed with my systems. Then I remember when I was in there they had a nice amp for 250 that they could of sold me for replacement when I was there the first time. I felt like they were out to get me. The Spanish guy is still there. So now I'm guessing the Asian guy, the owner is it on it. I suggest not going here. If you do be smart and check other places. Not honest at all. read more

I wish I had never walked in here. I came in after trying to hook up new speakers and an amp myself, and it became too much of a project for me. I brought it here and after they 'fixed' everything for me the low-end sounded like garbage (distorted) so I had them put in one of their amps instead of the one I purchased from BB and even after that it still sounded bad. I was told the head unit was probably messed up when I installed it, so I had them then put in a new head unit and on their recommendation, wire for a sub which I ordered through a separate car audio shop because I wanted a specific JL sub for my Wrangler. After the head unit is installed, the audio would drop out at volume over 18 and the amp started to smoke when I got it home (still sounds garbled/distorted on the lows, hence the recommendation for the sub) and so I bring back to them and they readjust the amp which makes it sound even worse, and takes away any/all low end frequencies from the Jeep. The stock system in my subaru sounded better and had more low end, but they then blamed it on the speakers. Fast forward to when I go to get the sub put in during a road trip to Florida, and halfway there all of the lights on the dashboard illuminate and the windshield wipers start going crazy and I can't get any of it to stop. This is 10 hours from home, and 4 hours from my destination. I had to take the Jeep into the dealership in Florida in order to have them tell me that something in the radio wasn't hooked up correctly and the Com Bus wiring must be grounding out or connected incorrectly. It is intermittent at least, so I am able to use it while in FL and get it home. When I picked up the sub at the other audio shop, they asked me who adjusted the audio and let me know that it was done terribly. They readjusted it for me and FINALLY the low end was there, even without the sub! I still had them install it since it was a custom order though. When I got back to Woodbridge, the lights and wipers were still going crazy, but instead of bringing it back here I took it to Safe & Sound instead to have them take a look because at this point I don't want these guys ever looking at one of my vehicles again. Safe & Sound pulled out the radio and immediately found the wiring problem, these guys had cut off the plug for the radio and hand-wired everything in which you DO NOT do on new vehicles. You have to use a harness to mate the old radio stuff up to the new radio, otherwise it causes major electronic issues. I really wish I had gone to basically anywhere else (even though Safe & Sound is a far drive) because what should have been a $1,000 project (speakers and installation) ended up being close to $4,000. The last thing I'll mention for anyone brave enough to still go here... price check EVERYTHING in the store. The amp they sold me to 'fix' the problem they had marked up to $450 from $250 as listed on the manufacturers website. They are used to dealing with low/no income customers and will treat you as such. If Yelp will let me, I will upload pictures of the shoddy wiring job. read more

I am truly happy with my system! I get so excited whenever I get into my ride! Matt and Armando helped me get what I wanted and paid an awesome price. It's my first system and didn't really know what I would need. I called one day to see if they would help me out, Armando answered and I told him that I wanted a system but didn't want the top of the line, I just wanted a lil more bass. He said, come on in and we'll help you out. It was Friday night, 20 mins before closing, and Matt was gracious enough to show me around, let me listen to some subs and explain what I would need. I got 2 8" skar subs, a customize box, (he even installed an extra piece to ensure that my box doesn't slide), a bass knob, a capacitor and cables.
