I dropped my car off in the morning, around 10 a.m., and they kept it all day, not returning it until after 5 p.m. They charge $125 per hour, so it seems in their best interest to keep your car as long as possible. The only service I had done was an amp installation, and all the equipment was already in the car. The bottom line is they kept my car all day and charged me $900. I want to support small businesses, but not this one--this is a ripoff. I took my wife's car to Best Buy for the same service, and it cost $389 to install the same equipment, plus the same warranty, and it was done in three hours. I do not recommend this place; they are overcharging customers. Just go to Best Buy--they take care of you, have fair prices, and do honest work.

How good is the OCD Offroad team in Stafford, Virginia?…read more So good that I drove my new Jeeps and Broncos the 1,500-mile round trip from West Michigan to Virginia for aftermarket installs because I have learned to trust only the honest character and competence of OCD Offroad technicians! Long gone are the days where a neighborhood auto mechanic or brother-in-law can install aftermarket lighting and electronics into existing wires by cutting and splicing and expect it all to work. Today's aftermarket offroad installers must be knowledgeable computer and electronic technicians understanding electrical engineer drawings and how to integrate new and expensive add ons into the factory systems controlled by on board fuses, circuit breakers, switches, computers and motherboards. If not done correctly, nothing will work as designed and manufacturer warranties will be voided. OCD Offroad first inspired my trust and confidence after they troubleshot and redid an aftermarket lighting job to my new Jeep Gladiator after I had paid the Michigan installer thousands of dollars only to mess up the existing system. Good help is hard to find and apparently the kids hired by this Michigan offroad business didn't know what they were doing. But the technicians at OCD Offroad figured out what was wrong with the Jeep Gladiator and made it right. Consequently, when I bought my wife a new Sasquatch Bronco in Michigan, I drove it to OCD Offroad for the install of power running boards, an ARB front bumper and winch and powerful front and rear LED spot and flood lights to illuminate the nighttime deer in the pitch-black back roads of my rural Michigan countryside. The owner of OCD Offroad, Scott Raflo, is the best. He kept me fully informed every step of the way, and managed and coordinated the myriad of interrelated tasks so that my Bronco did not languish in the shop. I will choose OCD Offroad in a heartbeat for any new vehicle. I can't imagine anyone ever being disappointed in trusting them with their offroad upgrades. I read a bunch on the interwebs about how this was a bad idea, it was gonna screw up my low voltage battery system, the battery management system was gonna freak out. All sorts of horrific things were likely to happen. But Tim's had enough recent experience with EVs to know with the 12V batteries (not the Lithium Ion 16V or higher in some news EVs) - it was likely to work just fine. He whipped up a quote based on experience, and gave me the peace of mind to say, "Hey if it doesn't work - we'll customize according to some of the specs you're seeing online". Great! So I dropped it off a few months ago, the install went swimmingly and as planned, and I've had it thumping the hell outta my car ever since with not a single complain from the car's battery management system.
