Jermaine was fantastic. Setting up a time and location was easy. Work was done quickly and efficiently. Very personable. High class service!!! Highly recommended.

Germaine did an excellent job installing a backup camera, front camera, and a new radio in my 2007 Jeep Wrangler. He was professional, knowledgeable, and fair priced. Everything works perfectly and the installation looks clean and seamless. I am very happy with the outcome and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for quality automotive audio or camera work.

Installed a CarPlay radio into my older vehicle and took three hours to install and did a fantastic job right in my own driveway. Highly recommend.

    Before

Words are insufficient to express the completely positive and professional experience I had with Jermaine Morris at JDM Installations. The difference between my previous Best Buy install and JDM are on opposite ends of the spectrum. Jermaine offered choices, pictures, complete pricing and accommodated MY schedule. He came to my location freeing me from having to drive and wait or be picked up. The customer service and communication were incredible. The quality of the install continues to impress. Anyone needing work would be crazy not to use this company. I had a Wolfbox rear camera and mirror as well as a new large screen radio and another camera hooded up the screen. I know, it is double need, but physical limitations limit a one system component, but the double work did not phase Jermaine in the slightest. So impressed. Do no hesitate contracting them to do you work. Quality, convenience and customer service by professionals!

But that is not the reason for my rating - I rate and review to share my customer experience. Extremely disappointing experience and a serious lack of accountability from this shop. My experience: JN Lead Enterprises Corp. doing business as Black Optix Tint damaged my vehicle during tint installation, later refused to honor their agreement to repair it, and failed to correct multiple tint quality issues under warranty. Timeline: On January 5, 2026, I brought my vehicle in for tint installation. During the pickup walkthrough that same day - before payment and before taking possession - I noticed damage to the rear passenger window in the ceramic frit area, and pointed it out to the installing technicians, Ayden and Taven. The damage was acknowledged, confirmed it did not arrive like that, and documented at that time, summarizing the partial payment agreement. We agreed that I would pay half of the service that day and the remaining balance once the issue was corrected. On January 7, I returned to the shop and reviewed the damage again with Ayden and the owner, Edessa Reed. During that walkthrough it was also noted that an irregularity in the tint film aligned with the damaged portion of the glass. Edessa stated the shop would cover the repair and suggested using a local glass partner (their preferred third-party specialist) to evaluate the window. At that point we discussed that the solution could range from a quick repair to full replacement depending on the specialist's evaluation. Over the following weeks I followed the process requested: I obtained replacement quotes from the dealer, coordinated with the shop's recommended glass specialist, and had the vehicle inspected. On February 5, the specialist evaluated the window and determined the damage could not be repaired and that full glass replacement would be required. Then on February 11, after finding out a replacement is necessary, the shop owner, Edessa R., reversed her position and stated they did not believe the damage occurred at their facility. A refund does not resolve damage nor does it deliver the service promised. The cost of replacing the glass and re-tinting far exceeds the value of the tint service. Multiple independent shops (including another Black Optix location) have evaluated the damage and reached consistent conclusions regarding the location of the damage and the visible tooling mark adjacent to it. Separate from the glass issue, there were also quality concerns with the tint installation itself, including excessive trapped debris, bubbling, and scratching that was acknowledged under warranty but never corrected. Accidents happen, what matters is how they are handled. In this case, the damage was acknowledged on the day of installation, discussed again during a follow-up visit, evaluated by the shop's chosen glass specialist, and now the shop decides to deny responsibility.

When I asked them to justify the labor, the salesperson and owner became hostile and asked me to leave the store. A confident shop welcomes questions about its pricing. Aaron and Adam are not to be trusted Edit in response to the owner: My review reflects my own experience: I asked for the labor to be itemized in writing before committing, and the conversation ended there. I'll let it stand and let readers judge for themselves. But look at other low reviews. They all talk about getting ripped off for labor. I've never been asked to leave a store before and rarely have ever reviewed anything Lastly, I was willing to spend $3k yesterday and terrible attitudes mixed with 150% labor costs turned me off. Enough said

It is not a review of National Key & Lock as a company or of any other employee. July 1, 2026 I had a scheduled appointment with a National Key & Lock technician through my American Home Shield/Frontdoor home warranty plan to have rekey service performed on my home. Before the appointment, I received written information from American Home Shield explaining that the rekey service included: * Rekey up to 6 keyholes * Provide 4 identical copies of new keys * Each key will work on each keyhole that has been rekeyed * Test the new keys to ensure functionality Based on that information, I understood that the rekey service included four identical copies of new keys. When the technician arrived, he asked how many doors needed rekey service. I told him there were three and showed him two of the doors, explaining that the third door was located in my basement. The technician then asked for my keys. I went upstairs and brought down my original house keys on a keychain. When I asked why he needed them, he told me he was going to copy them. I explained that I had requested rekey service through my American Home Shield/Frontdoor home warranty plan. The technician then told me I would have to pay $15.00 for each new key. I explained that this did not match the written information I had received from American Home Shield and that I was requesting only the rekey service included in my coverage. To avoid any misunderstanding, I contacted American Home Shield before authorizing any work. During our conversation, the technician stated that this was "between him and me, not them." I requested a callback from American Home Shield so I could verify my coverage before proceeding. Throughout our discussion, I repeatedly explained that I was requesting only the rekey service included in my American Home Shield coverage and was not requesting any additional keys or services. The technician then left my home without performing any work. As he walked toward his vehicle, I asked, "Are you leaving?" At approximately 4:01 p.m., I photographed the technician as he left my property and entered his vehicle. During our entire conversation, my nephew was seated in my dining room and heard the discussion, including the conversation regarding the proposed $15.00 charge for each new key. July 2, 2026 The following day, I received a call from an American Home Shield supervisor. I was informed that the technician had reported completing the rekeying of two of my doors and that the third door could not be rekeyed because there was no key. Based on my personal knowledge, no work was performed on any of my doors, and none of my locks were rekeyed. American Home Shield advised me that another locksmith would be assigned to complete the rekey service at my home. Had I not reviewed the written information provided by American Home Shield before the appointment, I may have believed that I was required to pay an additional $15.00 for each new key. Because I reviewed my coverage beforehand, I understood what my American Home Shield plan stated was included in the rekey service. This review reflects only my personal experience with one National Key & Lock technician on July 1 and July 2, 2026. Other customers may have different experiences.
