The food is absolutely incredible! The buffet is always full and fresh, brimming with bright and savory flavors! The staff is friendly and professional; they are very attentive, but they don't hover, so you're able to enjoy leisurely conversation with your company, or eat on your own for a peaceful meal. The restaurant is spacious and elegant, but somehow still feels casual and comfortable. I have seen people in everything from jeans to business attire to scrubs to Emory athletes post-practice. Came here on a Saturday night to find the restaurant about a quarter full despite all the construction outside that makes it seem closed. We got seated right away by their kind host as a result. I had a pretty filling lunch before so my taste buds weren't as primed for a delicious meal like usual. Their Garlic naan was soft and on the thin side. The butter chicken was saucy and tasty. I was surprised with the amount of tomato's in the garlic salmon but still enjoyed it. Overall, the food was good and the service was great. Located in an Indian plaza making it a good spot for Indian groceries and food. For $15, I believe this buffet is a great deal even with a relatively small selection. The food is hot and what they had was delicious. The restaurant's interior is okay, the staff is quick to clean plates. My favorite is the paneer tiki masala, your taste buds will thank you! It's a traditional North Indian style cuisine with 10% discount for online orders. We tried the lunch buffet. Food is pretty good here, however their buffet that they do serve daily does vary from day to day. It would be good if they have added few more dishes to their buffet like some seafood and biryanis. Reasonably priced for the buffet. My recommended dishes here are the Paneer Tikka Masala, Goat Curry, Butter Chicken, Chicken Wings, Garlic Naan and Daal. The chicken and goat curries are rich and flavorful. Not too spicy, but just right. Plenty of free car parking available in fornt of the restaurant. Service is also great. Very drab inside and not very inviting ambiance, need more lighting to brighten up the space. I'm rating this place 5 stars in regards it's rare to see an all day everyday Indian buffet. If you're watching tiktoks and just wanting to get into Indian food this is a great place to start! It's also hard to find a place that keeps fresh food coming (no old poultry sitting there smells) because it's always busy and tables are filled when I've been here. They bring fresh naan upon request to your table and it's the star of the show along with the mattar dishes (anything with peas) I highly suggest calling in before you go as the menu is daily and changes The only con is there aren't a lot of dishes I'd say around 5-6 dishes, salad bar, gulab jamun, sweet milky vermicelli (shamai?) for dessert. I came for lunch and thought the buffet was very decent considering the price. The food was very fresh and tasty and the naan they give is absolutely amazing. It comes with the buffet and they make it fresh and they don't skimp! There aren't that many choices, but what they did have was very quality. Not impressed. Went with some co-workers. I got the buffet which was $14/$15. The only good dish was the goat w/rice. The goat was a bit dry, not heavily seasoned, yet could have used more. The chicken wings were oddly, stained with some red sauce which was absolutely tasteless and very dry (I don't how you can mess chicken wings up). There were some sauces and other meatless stuff, but you couldn't tell what it was because many of the labels were missing. Not many choices for the buffet either and it was not very appetizing. One co-worker ordered veggie meat-like balls and when it arrived, it looked very unappetizing. He asked the waiter that lurked around the table the entire lunch (very annoying and creepy) if it was meat because he thought it was veggies. "Lurch" confirmed that it was ground up veggies, but when repeatedly asked what veggies were in the balls he absolutely refused to answer and just repeated "mixed veggies". Needless to say, it was trashed. Last, I've never experienced having to get in a single file line to pay your bill, but all 11 had to stand in line and individually pay our bills, SMH. No frills but delicious Indian food. The buffet is not extensive but they always have goat which other Indian restaurants that offer buffet never does. The chai masala is so good. It's a must when eating here. The older Indian gentlemen aren't friendly but polite and efficient. They're staying open even while the rest of the plaza is under construction. My mom and I decided to go out after work for dinner & decided on Indian food. So the way we ended up at this particular restaurant, we drove to this plaza {can't remember the name, but has a bunch of Indian restaurants} and looked for an Indian restaurant with a bar...no judgment! Visited on a Friday around 6pm, wasn't crowded, but there was a good amount of people in there. Greeted by a gentleman with a smile and a "follow me" motion, not weird at all just going with the flow. As we sat down we were approached by our server {who didn't identify herself by name}. I frequent Indian restaurants so I know what I want when I sit down, however some places cook their masala/curry differently {heavy cream, coconut milk, broth, etc.}. So before ordering I asked for clarification, the most frustrating part of my experience! No joke, I went back & forth with the server the make sure the veggie masala was DAIRY FREE. After about 5 minutes I gave up and order the veggie biryani. It was good, but definitely not the veggie masala I was fixed on. Now I ordered my mom, the lamb masala, but when we recievs the order it was obviously not masala. When I brought it to the servers attention she argued with me. It was definitely lamb kofta curry, not the same. All in all, I couldn't even enjoy my food nor did I order a drink {which was the reason we ended up here} because of the lack of customer service and sour server. I stopped by here for an early dinner after reading several reviews just for an togo order. As I entered the door I noticed the health inspect report was up pretty high, so all I could see was the number, which I believe was 80, which explains why it was put up using a ladder. It is behind on the wall and most customers probably don't see it as it should be eye level or do not see it until they are leaving. I don't know about Decatur, but in Fulton this is not allowed. My order was for some nan, garlic nan and an order of their saag gosht (lamb), or as I like to call it lamb saagwala. The guy who took my order seemed to be the manager who was at the bar, he was friendly, but seemed to be in a rush to finish his conversation with a couple at the bar. There was no one else at the bar. While I was waiting (took about 30 minutes) for the food to be prepared I used the restroom and have to admit the restrooms here are repulsive, as you can see from the pictures. Had I ordered after I used the bathroom I would of just left and ordered else where. Before those who read my review say, "Oh, who cares about the bathroom, you don't dine out to use the restroom, you eat out to enjoy the food and that is all that matters" well, as someone who worked in public health for seven years, I can assure you restaurants who neglect bathrooms usually always neglect the bigger things, like the kitchen, checking food temperatures, food/dry storage, refrigeration, cleaning etc... On that note, always check the bathrooms before you order anything from a food establishment. There were about four guests who were in the dinning area eating their buffet, which seems to be the main reason why people come here. The table setups looks nice, but the ceiling décor, is not. One of the ladies brought my food to the bar and I paid her. I gave her a tip and she slid the money into a lock-box they have near the cash register. It has a big pad lock on it. I thought that was strange, maybe the owners don't want employees to have cash on them, so if they have no cash, they don't have to worry about theft of money and then at the end of the night they open the box and split the tips with the wait staff. Hopefully that is the case and the management does not pocket it. I left and this evening when I unwrapped the food it looked good. The Nan bread is huge, an excellent value compared to other places. Here they charge $1.50 for an entire piece, some places charge $2 for 1/3 the size. The saag looked good through the container and the rice smelled good. My wife and I plated our food and as I was eating it I noticed that the lamb was extremely tender, way too tender... Now that is a good thing right? The texture felt on my upper palate told me something was strange. The lamb was cubed and interesting enough there were no bones, maybe they deboned the lamb and cut them into perfect chunks, which would be perfect, but it turned out this was not lamb, but tofu. I ordered lamb, paid for lamb, but got tofu. Even though I did not receive the lamb as I ordered, the tofu did taste okay. Overall, the saag was about a 5/10. The flavour was lacking a bit, maybe there was not enough turmeric in it. I definitely prefer the Saag from Planet Bombay in little five point. Overall, the nan bread is excellent, if you want nan bread, then I would recommend this place. However, if you want an entire course, it might be wise to just go up the street for your hors d'oeuvres and entrées. Otherwise, you may just order a meat dish and get an vegetarian dish instead, which is healthier, just not what was ordered. read more

So, Masala Indian Cuisine is probably not my go to spot for Chicken 65. I came here for dinner and got a to go order. Chicken 65 was my dining choice, as well as an order of veggie samosas. Combined, my order came to $16.53 after taxes The Samosas came in a three pack, were a little smaller (which was good) and were greasy. They did have other varieties of samosas, but I must admit I wouldn't get the veggie ones again. The Chicken 65 entree was actually cooked perfectly......they just were not seasoned at all, and were completely absent of flavor. I like my chicken 65 to be crispy, light and mixed in with onions and pepper (preferably jalapeno). All of my requirements for good chicken 65 were met, minus the peppers (they served it with green bell pepper) and most importantly, the seasoning (because these things were pretty bland)! The decor of Masala indian is dated, and in fact the menu they handed me had pages stuck together with food particles. That should've been my immediate sign to go elsewhere, but hindsight and all, right? Located in the popular Patel Plaza, Masala sits to the left of Patel brothers, when facing it from Church street. Parking is shared, so there's no real problem finding a spot. and getting into or out of the plaza isn't so difficult. One bonus with Masala is they ARE yelp friendly, and do participate in the yelp cash back feature (yelp messaged me and told me I got money back), so there's that. Masala's biggest problem is the ridiculous amounts of competition they have in walking distance. I've been to many of the restaurants here in the plaza or across the street from it, and many of them were fantastic, where as most things were just off with Masala, though they have seemed to find their audience and are trucking right along. Should you go to Masala? Maybe, but I don't know that I would make this my first choice, with so many other great Indian restaurants literally right next door. But that's just me. read more

My friends and I stuff ourselves and always leave extremely satisfied. The service is great as well. We've never had an issue with bad service.
