I ordered the tilapia goreng (fried tilapia). If like me you love fish, this is a treat. The entire tilapia was deep fried, not oily and so crispy, I could eat everything. The fish was accompanied by a serving of rice, a few slices of tomatoes and a few slices of cucumber. So fresh. Also a sambal (of a different kind) from what we already have on our plate. I requested for sambal hijau (green sambal) to go with my fish. So good. Perfectly seasoned fish, no fishy smell. Between us, we shared a chendol, green noodlely things in coconut milk and gula melaka (palm sugar). It's a cold dessert, mildly sweet and fragrant because of the coconut milk. They had texture and they were clearly NOT the type of corn tortillas that I get at most places, those premade floppy unflavorful corn tortillas like the ones you get in the pack of 150 at the grocery store.
