If you are looking for an honest, gentle, kind, and actually helpful chiropractor, look no further - Dr. Masangkay is the best chiropractor I've ever been to, and I've been to quite a few. Every time I would go to my old chiropractor and get adjusted, it would never really be okay after and I would still be in constant pain. After being upset and frustrated for years, I looked around for a new Dr. in my area and came upon Dr. Masangkay. I went to him with a horrible thrown back and very bad sciatica. I could barely breathe or even move for that matter. I'm only 32 years old. He must be a miracle worker, because within a few weeks I was completely back to normal, and he aligned my back and hips so well that I didn't have any more pain like I did chronically from my previous chiropractor. He has improved my well being and quality of life to a point I didn't even think was possible anymore. He knows what he's doing. My girlfriend also goes to him, she was reluctant to go but he has helped her sciatic pain and back pain as well and she's much better than she was before. I am looking at moving soon and am very worried I won't be able to find someone half as good as Masangkay. He has been an lifesaver. I might just have to make the two hour drive to see him. I was hit by a car while biking (thankfully still somewhat of a minor accident, all things considered) and was referred to Dr. Masangkay by my lawyer. This place is a godsend. After a car accident I ended up getting injured and was referred to this clinic because they took my insurance. Normally the places that usually accept insurance are shady looking and when you talk to the doctor it's probably for a whole 13 seconds then he's off to the next so that way they can have a large volume of patients which equals more money for them and subpar care for the patients. But Dr. Masangkay is different. He's very professional yet still easy to talk to. He took the time to get to know me and my injury and we discussed how best to treat it...I actually felt heard. I continue to go into his clinic whenever the need arises and have since referred all my family to his practice, which by the way is super clean and has newer equipment and better treatments options than most run of the mill chiropractors. Another good thing is that parking is a breeze because there is a structure which is a precious commodity with it being in Encino. I thought I would have to find street parking and walk a quarter mile, but nope. I would say that the only negative thing about his place is that there is nothing on the white walls. Personally I think nice decorations go a long way. read more
