They showed understanding and patience when they didn't have to, and that meant a lot. The apartment itself is great -- clean, quiet, and comfortable. But what really stands out is how they handle things. Anytime I've had a maintenance issue, it's been taken care of quickly. The maintenance guy has always been polite, respectful, and easy to talk to. No attitude, no dragging things out -- just gets it done. It's hard to find places that treat you like a human being instead of just a lease number. I'm genuinely grateful for the way they've handled my situation and how smooth everything has been. There are a few people who truly made this apartment feel like home: Guy Kohavi - Great Maintenance Assistant with amazing communication and an awesome attitude. He was always a pleasure to talk to and work with when finding solutions to normal wear and tear issues. Britnee Scott - Assistant Property Manager with a really positive attitude who was easy to work with. She made living there seamless. Lisa Smith - A very kind front desk representative who always did her absolute best to answer any question I had. If she didn't have the answer immediately, she would do whatever she could to get me one as soon as possible. They treat you like you're an idiot and never communicate with you or the other residents about anything. The big thing for me, as my wife works from home and I'm an online gamer is the internet. It is god awful. On and off all times of the day and it just goes down randomly. Takes like a minimum of 4-6 days to come back online, but they assure us we get "white glove" service. Biggest lie out there. Couple more things: Dog poop is everywhere outside so watch were you step. Also, the apartment reeks of weed. Look, for as much as you will be paying, just go somewhere else.

The noise, dirt and traffic will only increase when the newer apartment complexes are completed. The town center is within walking distance and has some businesses and restaurants but much of the retail are shuttered and in disrepair. Overture Fairview apartments have some structural problems with cracks, sloping floors, patio doors that do not close and need frequent adjustments. The price paid for rent is not worth the amenities. The pool and spa are frequently closed for repairs and need a regular cleaning. The elevators and secure gates have been unreliable but are better lately The outside doors don't all close securely. There are stairs at many entrances making it difficult to carry in groceries. Covered parking at the complex has become expensive and residents park at nearby hotel and office lots. Overture staff has cut promised community activities - generally at the last minute. Communications from staff can be disrespectful and degrading. There is an active resident committee that runs some activities which is a plus. As new senior communities are completed in the area, there are many residents leaving for better accommodations. If you are in a scooter or walker, unfortunately there are residents who will shame you for using the elevator and "being in the way". Please be aware that there is a segment of the residents who love Overture Fairview. They will post overly positive reviews to offset the negatives. Hopefully this review will at show the issues that may lead to an informed decision. Again I would not recommend this location for a senior who is looking for a nice, quiet, secure, accessible home.

It's advertised in all brochures as being from 9 -10am. This morning it started around 910. It was complete by 9:36 and when residents asked why it didn't go to 10, they were told by the manager that not many people come down after 9:30 and we just can't afford to have people sitting here doing nothing with the remainder of the time. A few residents said you could just leave the food out so you don't have to be present for the entire time, the manager essentially said to them, we can't trust you because you would steal everything.

You can put lipstick on a pig, but it's still a pig- or should I say, it's still the Fairways. **Also, after many attempts at settling the issue with the ungodly charges I received upon move-out, the Business Manager has not even come close to correcting her "mistake" of reporting my account to collections. She assured me she had contacted the collection company, Hunter Warfield, but they have no record of her calling, emailing, or faxing them anything. Let me start by saying- I've worked in the apartment industry and I understand how difficult dealing with everything that goes into managing a community can be. That being said, the Fairways at Wilson Creek leasing agents and management is beyond unprofessional. I wish I could score them a negative 5 stars. This place was the absolute worst apartment living experience I've EVER had. Upon seeing the model apartment, I felt that I was getting a deal with the low prices. However, upon move-in, NOTHING was ready, the smell in my apartment was awful, the carpet stained... just NASTY. I demanded they replace the carpet (which smelled like pure cigarette smoke) because my son is sensitive to irritants like cigarette smoke and was breaking out. They finally got around to it, but at their convenience. They acted like they were doing me a favor by replacing it! I had a "pond view" which became a gnat-infested hell that they would NOT take care of. Pest infestation was horrible inside and outside of the apartments. The leasing staff are both incompetent and less than helpful. I actually had become friends with a few of them until the Assistant Manager, developed a personal issue with me. This was reflected upon move-out when they tried to charge me over $1100 for carpet replacement, cleaning of the apartment, and 2 very lightweight nightstands that i had left behind. I am all for paying what i owe- but there were NO STAINS on my carpet, and when asked, I was only provided with black and white pictures of the "damage" in the apartment, which did not include ANY stains. I tried to talk to the new manager (there have been 3 different managers in the 14 months I lived there), but she was extremely unhelpful and unwilling to do anything to correct it. I will be contacting Orion property company this week to hopefully settle this. Also, the Assistant Manager has been speaking about the issues of my account with my ex-neighbors calling me "just another resident who's trying to avoid move-out fees" and saying that the manager knows that I'm "just crazy." I can more than afford to pay the $1100, but I will not pay for damage that was not there and cannot be proven. I've heard that apartments do this to people when they moved out, but I never believed this type of unprofessionalism exists. I was proven wrong by the employees at the Fairways at Wilson Creek. I would NEVER recommend this place to ANYONE.

The thing that makes it so great here is the maintenance - I had a broken toilet - Brandon came and fixed it wrote a sweet note to say to have a great day and although he did not know, I was having a huge project gone wrong and those simple words healed my strained head and heart. I had a new confidence to tackle the problem and it was just a normal part of his demeanour. Most apt techs could care less and he and his staff work seamless to get it fixed right and fixed the first time. Bravo also to Can (dace, Mahonogy and Kim (think that is her name - she is the mgr) Highly recommend!
