The scope of work included eight bathrooms with shower walls, shower ceilings, floors, wainscoting, and countertops, along with installing the engineered quartz in our kitchen, laundry room, and butler's pantry. He also installed the granite in the game room/bar area. It was an enormous job, yet Michael and his team completed it in just **2 weeks and 2 days**. Even more impressive, they never sacrificed quality for speed. Throughout our build we've had the opportunity to work with some outstanding subcontractors, including an exceptional electrician. But without question, Michael has stood out above everyone else. He's punctual, professional, incredibly knowledgeable, and takes tremendous pride in his work. What impressed me most, though, is his character. If something isn't exactly right, he doesn't make excuses or become defensive--he simply makes it right. That level of integrity is incredibly rare these days. I've also had multiple tradespeople working on our home--people who know quality craftsmanship when they see it--comment on what an outstanding tile and surface installer we have. Hearing that from other professionals only confirmed what we had already experienced firsthand. Beyond his workmanship, Michael is simply one of those people you genuinely enjoy being around. The repair guy was unable to pull the dishwasher out from beneath the counter because Eric essentially walled it in. When Eric installed the tile, he elevated the floor--but NOT the part of the floor on which the dishwasher sits beneath the counter--by about 3/4". Now there isn't enough clearance above the dishwasher to compensate for the added floor height, so I am going to have to pay someone to cut four tiles out of the floor just so the unit can be pulled out, and to elevate my floor cabinets and counter--all this just so I can replace a dishwasher. I am told this is something Eric should have addressed, and that he took the easy way out by avoiding the issue. Instead, he left me with a downstream problem that will be costly to correct. Yes, Eric has a great many five-star reviews here. That's why I hired him. But before you do the same, I strongly suggest you take heed of my really bad experience, because something like this can happen to you, too.
