Despite one of the two-foot…read moretiles being visibly not-level, I was generally happy with it until my dishwasher needed a repair. The repair guy was unable to pull the dishwasher out from beneath the counter because Eric essentially walled it in. When Eric installed the tile, he elevated the floor--but NOT the part of the floor on which the dishwasher sits beneath the counter--by about 3/4". Now there isn't enough clearance above the dishwasher to compensate for the added floor height, so I am going to have to pay someone to cut four tiles out of the floor just so the unit can be pulled out, and to elevate my floor cabinets and counter--all this just so I can replace a dishwasher. I am told this is something Eric should have addressed, and that he took the easy way out by avoiding the issue. Instead, he left me with a downstream problem that will be costly to correct. Yes, Eric has a great many five-star reviews here. That's why I hired him. But before you do the same, I strongly suggest you take heed of my really bad experience, because something like this can happen to you, too.

His work is exceptional, and I found his prices to be competitive I loved how quiet this part of the job was. I kept forgetting he was here. I really appreciated his tidiness. Each day he vacuumed up after himself, and left everything in tip top shape. He is also environmentally conscious. His disposal practices were flawless. He emails me on a regular basis asking if everything is still to my satisfaction, and to let me know he is ready to do a thresh hold when we finish installing the carpets. Communication with his customers is wonderful. He immediately felt like family. We are designing a new fireplace, and can't wait to have Eric do the work. He is an awesome guy to have around. Young Aldo has great communication skills, he kept me in the loop on the fabrication progress and listened carefully at what I was looking for. He is always prompt in any communications, in order to fit our tight schedules, the team came out Saturday to do the work. We very much appreciated that! Aldo, the father, is most skillful and one of the smartest person we ever worked with. The counter on the sink side has many tricky corners, he got it perfectly! We ran into an issue with one of the vanity with 6" apron. He creatively came up a solution and tirelessly carried the stone piece back to his shop to refinish. The precision on each stone piece and the lining-up with the cabinet are just perfect! The Aldos are good people to work with, they are skillful and most importantly very kind. Very happy with how this project turned out! It was a slow start. I had called Jaymes and left a…read moremessage telling him about the project. It took him a month to return my call but that didn't bother me because anything construction related is so much in demand right now, I was just happy to get a call back. Plus it worked out timing wise because when he returned my call, I was ready for the countertop portion of my project. Jaymes was quick to come over and take measurements and he recommend a few places for me to look at slabs. The next day, I had a slab picked out and he sent me the estimate. Once I paid the deposit, he had the countertops installed within 2.5 weeks. The turnaround time amazes me because I was expecting it to take at least a mont, again because of all the construction needs right now. I was not completely happy with the installation crew. They told me they were going to have to make a seams down the middle of the counter and backsplashes, which surprised me because Jaymes had told me the seams would only be in the corners. But after speaking to Jaymes about not being satisfied with multiple visible seams, he was able to accommodate my requests and put the seams in the corners. Also, the installation crew dented a cabinet while they were installing. The handles that were installed later covered the dent up so, no harm. Overall, I am very happy with the quick turnaround and the quality of the work. Jaymes did a great job lining up the grain patterns on the slabs so the backsplash matched the direction of the countertop. I would definitely use Stone Creation again and Jaymes was very easy to work with.

They cover the floors and even put plastic around the entry points to the work areas to mimimize the dust reaching the rest of the house. They take great care in removing the existing products, clean up the work area each day and have a lot of respect for the customer's personal property. The backsplashes and baseboards were removed without damaging the drywall above them. The seam between the edge detail and the countertops is invisible. They arrived at the job when they said they would and completed the job on schedule. They respond promptly to texts and phone calls. There was always clear communication regarding the project. They pay attention to details and are superb craftsmen. A lot of thought is put into matching the placement of the quartz pattern on all the walls so that it blends nicely. They take a lot of pride in their work. Mike or Matt were on the job site each day with additional team members as needed. They do the cut the quartz items themselves in their shop, so the quality control is excellent. They do all they can to make sure the customer is happy at the end of the job.
