Within 48 hours I had an estimate - which he wrote up after walking my property and talking with me about what I was hoping for and what could be done. After discussing we decided to clear out all the weeds and detritus from 1/4 acre yard and cover with 3 inches of mulch. A week later I have an updated backyard including a new drip line running to my trees and flowers. In the spring he will come out and run the line to my garden beds and add some more flowers. I liked the idea of using a small company so hired them to clean, re-sand and seal walkway pavers. The quality of the work was terrible, clumps of polymeric sand left on the paver surface, water valve access cemented shut, complete absence of sand in numerous spaces and major cracking of the areas re-sanded. He "fixed" a couple of areas (during a two-hour time he knew I wasn't home), that are now also cracked. Sent him photos of the cracking areas but no response. Have asked several times for an accurate invoice, told he was working on it, but still never received one. His pressure washer leaked fluid and stained the pavers (he had to notice since he walked right over the stains when he did his "fix"). The sand will have to be replaced and not sure if the stains can be removed. Numerous other mistakes. His website identifies a "Nevada License" but it is NOT A CONTRACTORS LICENSE, it is a business license!!!! My bad for not checking further, but why would you list your business license except to be deceptive. So no Contractors Board recourse. All I can do is warn people about them. Might be ok to mow lawns and haul trash but his lack of skill and integrity in standing behind the work should make you think twice, especially for anything more complicated. read more
