On that initial visit, Cory's sent 4-5 people and they did a good job. They pulled the overgrown weeds, raked up, got the yard tidy & cleaned up. Fast forward to this spring, Cory's sent 2 people, they didn't pull ANYTHING, just sprayed weed killer - even on the emerging daffodil & tiger lillies which are now dead. So they're left with a yard of dried, dying weeds and debris for the same rate as their prior visit. So, they put their best foot forward initially then barely phoned it in for the follow up. Of course, my tenants aren't willing to continue with them but are still left with a messy yard they paid to have weeded and cleaned.

We approached DRC this summer and started the process of planning a front yard landscape. bothy…read morehusband and I were really impressed with how responsive they were. we were pretty specific about the desert plants we wanted, and wanting certain features, as well as a wildflower bed. They worked around a couple of trees we wanted to keep, and cleaned them up nicely. Our entire irrigation system needed to be rebuilt as well. We worked primarily with Tracie (and Juan!) and they were amazing. Ultimately they were able to complete our job in less than a week, a month earlier than originally planned, and made substantial accommodations to work around the new road construction on our street. We're really happy with the new yard, and can't wait to see it fill out over the next couple of years. We highly recommend. As for prices, we had also reached out to another reputable landscaper in Reno and found DRC's on par with others, and a little less than what we were planning for. I explained I had a leaking irrigation supply valve and wanted to get it fixed fast due to hot weather. Johnathan came by for estimate on Tuesday. He noticed the PVB was very old and valves rusted so that needed to be replaced also, but it could wait. I said I only want to cry once! So added that. I had an estimate later that evening and it was quite reasonable. I had mentioned I wanted an estimate for another little job and he said he would throw that in as a courtesy! Awesome! I accepted the quote and they came out that very Friday, dug a huge hole, replaced all the plumbing with commercial quality parts including the PVB, filled in and leveled, and had it all up and ready to go by 4PM! Glue needed to dry overnight, so next day fired it up and all good! Very pleased with the work and the quick response. They take Zelle and checks so none of this cash only thing so many contractors want to do. They handle lots of different services so I'm sure I'll be using them again soon!

Terrible decision I made using these guys. My job was over $30k and most of that was sod installed…read morein the backyard of my new home. They dug trenches for the irrigation but left hundreds of large rocks in the dirt and then laid sod right on top of that. They told me, "Don't worry, soon the grass will grow right over the rocks - no big deal. Give it a year or two. That was 3 years ago, and my yard is disgusting. I can't mow it as the wheels of the lawnmower drop down into the depressions where there are large rocks all around them. As you walk in the grass, there are pits and rocks that you can feel under your feet. Half of the sod has now died, even tho I spent hundreds every month over the summers on water and fertilizer. It makes me sick to even go into my backyard. I have asked the owner to come look at my yard and talk to me, and no replies - ever. He knows he did a cheap crappy job and now he just wants to hide from me. Stay away from this 'company'.
