I researched and read through local reviews and ended up booking a custom tailored 90 minute massage. Kim was so kind and worked me into their schedule on short notice (don't recommend but highly appreciated). Tobias, my massage therapist was very experienced and was able to remove all my muscular pain in my shoulders, shoulder blades, head a neck. His technique was effective, yet gentle enough to also relax. The rooms were very clean and organized, following strict COVID safety protocols for their studios but they do not require you to wear a mask (the therapist does). Exceeded all my expectations! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a massage! Pro tips: book as early as possible. Arrive clean and showered for the massage. Don't be afraid to communicate to the therapist exactly what you need or where your pain is. You will get much more out of your massage. Check out the River next to the studio! Wow!!!

I highly recommend Affinity, the staff are warm and welcoming and full of great suggestions for things to do. The space is welcoming and relaxing as well, not an antiseptic type place like some chains I've been to. Privately owned, this space is well appointed and loved.

Our couples massage was hands down the best massage we've ever had. These therapists truly take pride in their work and give it their all. I've been to many massage places and even have a membership elsewhere, but this place is on another level. The effort, the full duration of the massage, and the kind, friendly demeanor of the staff all stood out. We'll definitely be getting massages here every time we visit Estes!

When I was asked about my preferences, I clearly said I wanted a deep tissue massage -- really deep and strong. The therapist's response shocked me. Let me quote: "I will try my best, but it's been a full day of massages, and if you want it deep, you better come in the morning." As you can guess, I didn't get what I asked for. On top of that, the therapist wore gloves throughout the massage. It was the first time in my life someone wore gloves while giving a massage. The sensation of plastic touching my skin the entire time was awful -- for me, it felt like torture. To be fair, my husband had a massage at the same place with a different therapist and he liked it -- and she didn't wear gloves. I definitely won't be coming back and would never recommend this place. There is so much competition in Estes Park with many massage options, so I'm truly shocked that anyone could provide such poor customer service and low-quality treatment. The name of my therapist was Tina -- so if you decide to book a massage here, at least be aware

Several large cooler (but still heated) pools as well, and fun features like the small climbing wall above a deep pool to fall into. The water slide was worth the extra $7. Nice seating areas outside including the upper deck and the shaded grass. Locker rooms were spacious, include stocked showers, and lockers that lock with a code. The main thing holding me back from recommending it completely is the high price, which looks like has doubled in the last decade.

We picked it mainly because you don't need tire chains or spikes to get there like you do with some of the other hot springs that are icy and hard to access. Huge plus. This hot spring is right in downtown Steamboat, basically on Main Street (or very close to it), and it's part of UCHealth. Super easy to find and very convenient. They have about six or seven different hot spring pools, all at different temperatures. The hottest pool the day we went was around 102-105 degrees, which felt amazing. I tried two pools: the hottest one and the large main pool with a bridge going over it, and I absolutely loved both. The water felt incredible, and when I got out, my skin felt so good. They even have a rock-climbing feature in one of the hot pools, which was a fun and unique touch--climbing while soaking was something I didn't expect but really enjoyed. They also have two water slides, which were pretty cool. It's $7 per slide per ride, so not included in admission, but still fun if you want to add something extra. Admission was about $35, and they do offer a military discount, which I appreciated. The facility itself was great--clean changing rooms, free lockers, a small café, and lifeguards on duty. The staff was super friendly and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Overall, this was an excellent experience and a great way to relax in Steamboat Springs without dealing with sketchy winter driving. I would absolutely come back and would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Hot Power Yoga in Laramie blew me away from the first day and continues to impress me every time I go in for some practice. The staff is kind, patient, and they make it a point to welcome each person who comes through their door, whether they are a returning student or a first-timer. I've only tried a few of their many creative classes, but I've never felt like I couldn't participate because of the difficulty of the postures; all but one or two are offered in a heated room and the teachers offer shame-free hands-on adjustments. The lobby is clean and inviting, with comfortable decor, soft couches, and plenty of storage space for bags and outerwear. They sell a small - but thoughtful - assortment of yoga accessories from outfits to mats to blocks. The hot room is evenly heated and has one large wall of mirrors, a smooth floor, and soft lighting that is dimmed for maximum focus. Music is played during many of the classes, but it is never distracting and actually helps me to concentrate more on what I'm doing in the room rather than what my head wants to think about outside of the room (ahh, life). Occasionally props are used during some of the more challenging/power focused classes, and scented oils and buckwheat bags (for covering eyes during savasana) are used at the end of a class to help return the body to a calm, rested state. Lastly, scheduling classes is super easy and really streamlines the process. It's not necessary to sign up online before attending, but it's helpful in case a class fills up (after work hours and weekends, especially), and the scheduling software gives you a clear description of each class so you can better decide what you're in the mood for trying on any given day. I've only been attending this studio for a short while, but I'll be continuing my practice with Hot Power Yoga for the duration of my stay in Laramie. They truly practice what they preach, and none of it is preachy.
