The first time I went to this location, I had a female therapist who only grabbed my skin the whole time. There was never a moment where there was an actual massage. To the point I had a few finger pad size bruises after. No massage, just quick grabbing. I still tipped and said I appreciated it. This time I had Cameron who was pleasant but by far the worst massage I've ever had. At the beginning when they ask you what you are expecting, I specifically said a few extra minutes and attention to the top of the shoulders, neck, scalp and face please. And be careful around my left hip from a recent replacement. He only touched my neck and top of the shoulders, at the very end, for maybe 60 seconds. Never once touch my scalp never once touched my face. And dug into my hip several times. And I opted for the foot exfoliating treatment extra add-on. All I received was about 30 seconds of dry sand on my feet before being wiped off with a towel, which was painful in itself. I cried on my way home because this is the one thing I do for myself once a month and this place has let me down numerous times. Try other locations before you come here. The front desk staff is extremely nice and caring, which is the only thing I can say positive about this location. read more

Wow had the best experience at Massage Envy today! I was lucky enough to get paired with Carolina for massage and Carmen for facial and both were beyond exceptional!! The best massage and the best facial I've had! I prefer deep/firm pressure which Carolina has perfected - she also has amazing technique, she definitely knows what she's doing! Then Carmen knows skin so well - she really looks and feels it in the beginning to recommend the perfect facial for you. She also puts in extra effort to make the entire facial relaxing - almost like another massage! My skin seriously looks like glass after this appointment. I've been to this location twice in the past 3 weeks. The first time, they informed me that the pricing online was NOT the price I was going to pay. Since I was using a gift card, I agreed to the price increase. They also told me that one of the gift cards I had showed a zero balance. I figured it was my error and let them toss the card. MY mistake. Second visit: I was informed AFTER I got there that that location was unable to provide one of the services I requested. I asked why I couldn't have been informed of that before I arrived. The massage was great but, once again, when checking out they tried to tell me that my gift card had $0. I knew it had $100, and after they clicked around some more, "found" the money and apologized that it took so long. There will NOT be a 3rd visit. read more

You'd have thought you went to a timeshare sales pitch the number of times they try to sell you on up-charged services, future appointments, and memberships. They ended up getting me too after I declined additional services multiple times, they charged me extra for the type of lotion used. Also deep tissue means medium to light pressure. If you're coming to relax and want to spend a bunch of money it might be ok. If you have knots or real tension in your back and don't want to feel like you're being taken advantage of find somewhere else. read more

This was my first time going to a Massage Envy, I usually go to Nordstrom in the Galleria for my facial and massage. Yes, I drive from Creekside to the Galleria for a facial and massage. And it looks as if I will continue to do so due to the following.... I called today to make an appointment for a massage and facial. They had 1pm, 2pm and 5pm available. Since I called they needed a credit card to put on file but I do not like giving out my credit card information over the phone plus I was paying with a gift card that my daughters got me for Mother's Day. I asked if I could walk in and pay with the gift card and I was told yes. I went to the Augusta Pines location by my house that's only 5 minutes away and when I got there I asked for the 1pm massage and 2pm facial. Meredith told me they had no appointments left for today. I asked if she was sure because I just called and was told these were the times available. Meredith said no we have nothing for today and all the technicians go on break at 1pm. I asked again if she was sure and I read off the number that I called to confirm that I did call the right location and she confirmed that the number was correct. I also asked her why the system shows availability if there is nothing available, she did not know why but told me they have appointments for tomorrow. I felt that something was off but I said ok, thank you and I asked if I could cash in my gift card but I was told no. When I got to my car I called the number again and I explained to them what happened and she told me that those appointment times were still available for today. So now I'm really confused. She asked me to hold on while she called the Augusta Pine location directly. So I got out of my car and went back inside because I wanted to hear what Meredith was going to say. As soon as I walked in she said oh she just walked back in and I will get her on the schedule for 1pm, it was just we were holding the 1pm spot for someone but they didn't show up. (Let me remind you all that it was not 1pm yet, so how do you know the person was not coming that you claim you were holding the spot for and what about the other times that were available?) Anyway, The lady on the phone switched back over to me and said you can be service now and so did Meredith but of course I said no I'm not getting service at this location because now I do not trust this location. I walked out while still on the phone and I told her I am not sure why Meredith lied. All those times was still available and she said they were fully booked. Why did she lie? Was she covering for the technicians or did she not want to service me, a colored woman? Why would she not want to service me? read more

So the first time I went here was with a gift card and massage was like $60 something for an hour. My husband gets me another Gift card for my birthday. I go back and it's double for the same massage. So if you're not brand new and you don't want to do the membership they price gauge? No thanks but that price is outrageous! read more

I've been to this location five times now and am very pleased. Front desk staff is pleasant and efficient. My therapist, Lillian, is fantastic. She listens to what is bothering me and adjusts the massage accordingly. Her pressure/technique is effective without being painful which has always been a struggle for me in the past. She is professional and warm which is a tough balance to strike. Overall, I am so glad I discovered this location. read more

My first massage was less than sub par. After telling the therapist to go lighter, I laid there wanting the massage to be over. It was the worst massage. I'm a nurse and just spent 72 hours at the hospital for the winter storm we just had so I booked a massage with a different therapist only to find out I got called into work shortly after booking the appointment. But the store was closed so I could not cancel. I called the next morning as soon as they opened hoping they'd understand but nope, still going to charge me 50% of the total which will be $50. Absolutely ridiculous. I will not be going back. read more

Don't sign up for a membership unless you're content with never leaving. Fulfilled my 12month contract and wanting to leave since the last 2 services I have had were unsatisfactory and left my facial with red irritated burning skin that is still angry and peeling 2 days later. 10 days for a cancelation request to take effect is ridiculous. Now they're charging me for another service since it takes 10 days for the request to process, a service I have no desire to ever use. So frustrated. read more

Do not sign up for a membership. They will not allow you to cancel when you have done your 12 months of service. They will harasses you. Ignore your cancelation letters. Attempt to turn you into a collection agency and ruin your credit. Pay the price for a regular massage do not fall into the trap of being stuck in a membership you can not cancel.
