Hard pass. I arrive at 4:40 for a one and a half hour massage. Complete the paperwork, called into the back at 5:10 to undressed lay down. At 520, The massage specialist still had not returned to the room. I dressed and returned to the front desk at 5:25. Was told she's taking a break. I asked when is my 5 o'clock massage for 1 1/2 hour going to begin? Obviously I didn't stay and pay for an hour and a half massage and receive one hour worth of services. read more

This place was dirty and not relaxing at all. The sheets on the table were scratchy and had holes in them. The room was way too brightly lit. My therapist made it worse. She spoke so loudly even though I told her the reason I was there-a splitting headache that I had for the last 2 days. I asked her to really focus on my neck and shoulders as I had a lot of tension there... she barely touched those areas. She didn't seem to really care about why I was there. What's the point of talking with me at the beginning if you're not going to address the issue? I won't be coming back which is unfortunate-I've had a good experience here in the past. read more

I used to love coming here up until the past few months when I was trying to get my account in order. I have not been able to get massages on a regular basis like I used to....especially after having a recent death of one of my parents and I just have not been feeling like myself. The new staff that I have encountered over the phone and in person have not been very helpful. Nor have they been able to Give me the correct information I'm looking for over the phone or in person when I went into the establishment today. The staff did not seem very attentive nor did they seem to care about what I was saying in regards to putting a freeze on my account in order to catch up. I have numerous hours that I need to catch up with and the minuscule amount of time they give you to put the account on freeze his ridiculous it's still basically rushing you to catch your account or you end up racking up more hours because your membership will start again so basically you're caught in a situation where as either get a bazillion massages in a small amount of time or you lose your time. I've been coming here for quite a while, but now I'm not so sure that this is the kind of place that I would want to continue to deal with after this experience.... read more

Elijah is wonderful. I have neck and back problems, then was rear-ended in Nov. He has been so much help with pain and walking. 5 Stars for him. The front desk reception is terrible. 0 STARS for them. I'm on a very limited income and had my credit card hacked. Every time they ask how much I want to give for the gratuity or if I've already taken care of it in front of all other clients. I told them I couldn't a week ago then ask again the next week. I did find out you can have written on your account that they don't ask. I would STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS. They also told me I had a credit week coming, then went in and had to pay. Make sure you pay by credit card and know where you stand. I feel they are shifty. read more

This membership has been the best hing I could have done for myself. Now this location has been fully remodeled and offers Murad skin care and facials in addition to the great massages. Recently picked up Kelly, in addition to my regular favorites Alex, and Esteban. All depends on what I want worked on more and schedules. Most will do a 90min customized massage and recently I learned Some therapists offers 120min. . Love these guys cause without them I would be back in pain management or physical therapy and limited on my visits etc. and way more $$$$ read more

I went to this location for the first time today and won't be back. It was a disappointing experience not comparable to other massage envy locations. First their waiting room up front is packed full of clutter: filing cabinets and fliers/signs so much that you can't even see the front desk people when you walk in. I called to confirm the location and they had me on hold for ten minutes before coming to the line. When I checked in the woman took my paperwork and didn't say anything else. Usually they escort you back to a relaxation room once you're checked in which is a nice way to set the mood (picture dim lighting, warm cozy chairs) despite they have a relaxation room, I waited for over fifteen minutes in the main lobby. When esthetician came to get me it was ten minutes past my appointment time. She didn't greet me or make much eye contact. She put all sorts of things on my face without telling me what they were or what they would do. Specifically she used glycolic acid on my face and I have rosacea and very sensitive skin, I had to ask the ingredients which she just said this is for exfoliating. She didn't put a wrap over my head to protect my hair and got product and water in my hair. At the end of the session she told me bye and to get myself a water as I leave. She was no where to be found as I left. The only thing I enjoyed about her facial was she used very good pressure but she didn't even touch my neck area. Between the very cluttered space, the lack of service at the front desk and the low quality facial service, I was extremely disappointed. Very few massage envy locations offer facial services so it's disappointing to have no alternative in the local area than a low quality experience. read more

I get massages here twice a month. With the nerve damage and muscle damage I have my therapist keeps me moving. I've been at this location for 7 years, I've been so lucky with the therapist. The waiting area is quiet and serine, offering fresh cold water and salt lamps to help ease your senses into your visit. They also have a variety of add ones, and wonderful homeopathic scents for purchase along with skin care products. The front desk staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Wow, I wish I could give them zero stars because it was that miserable of an experience. I went originally because of a birthday gift but I had an experience that was uncomfortable because of CoVId-19. My massage therapist was sniffling and I could tell she was wiping at her nose a majority of our hour. Because she was so busy with her face, there was a majority of the time where she used one hand. I was so disturbed from a public health perspective, that I called immediately to the manager who reportedly was aware however attested that the massage therapist was experiencing allergy symptoms that day and did not suspect COVID-19 infection... Um, excuse me... what?! I informed the manager that I am a doctor who has seen enough COVID-19 cases to know that her symptoms do not exclude a COVID-19 infection especially in the middle of a pandemic. I was mortified by the lack of assurance that they were going to be protective of the client. I understand that people need to make a living, but there needs to also be protections to ensure the business is being practical and smart about being noncontributory to worsening the community spread. I received another massage envy gift card recently and decided to shred it because I wouldn't even feel comfortable re-gifting something that could put others at risk. read more

The massage itself was EXCELLENT and very relaxing. But it sure wasn't an hour. I came in a few minutes before my appointment time and had to wait to get the form because there were two people ahead of me. The form only took me three minutes to fill out. I was then ushered into another room to wait for my massage therapist, who promptly got me. She asked me if I wanted to use the restroom first. Had I known all of this time would be shaved off my massage, I guess I would have held it. By the time my massage started it was 3:11 p.m.; my appointment was for 3 p.m. Not only did she short me out of the 11 minutes, she also stopped four minutes early at 3:56. I was shorted out of 15 minutes in total. When I said this to the person at the first desk her explanation was, well we take five minutes for the consultation if it's your first time. This is bad business and it still doesn't explain the additional 10 minutes I lost. For people who take your credit card info when you book an appointment and say they will charge you if you don't show up, shouldn't they actually provide the full time a customer pays for? Looking apologetic but not missing a beat, the lady at the front desk, who was eating a salad up there, asked me whether I wanted to leave a tip on my credit card. REALLY??? The audacity. read more

Never had a bad massage at massage envy, and this one is no exception. This location is more fragrant than others I have visited. Service is professional--my therapist was waiting for me when I arrived (in part because I was a few minutes late. Blame it on the annoying SR60). The massage itself was perfect. I especially appreciated the massage therapist was quiet--having a super chatty massage therapist is the worst when you are wanting to relax. I wish the quiet room were more secluded, as I like to arrive early to just sit and center myself. Had some issues with changing membership primary locations. read more

This was not a great massage at all. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is nice but I had a deep tissue that I did not expect to have the entire time on my shoulder and right side of my back and not have any massage to the rest of my body. I appreciate the time they took up front with you but I swear, they spent most of the time worrying about making sure the draping was not 1 millimeter out of alignment! Then, the therapist sort of made noises as she put pressure on my back...as if it was hard and she was struggling. Neck/Back/shoulder pain? I highly recommend Hamlin!! She really was amazing! She worked out and released knots I didn't even know I had. I used to have an ME membership and a great deep tissue therapist in Jax..tried this location and picked a therapist at random online...the massage did not meet expectations, so I called and spoke with the office manager who immediately made things right (great customer service by their entire team so far). She recommended Hamlin, who EXCEEDED my expectations! I really hope she doesn't go anywhere anytime soon because I was impressed enough to sign up for a year at this location. read more

I went here because a friend had purchase an early Christmas gift for me and it was a customized massage so it was even better! My massage therapist was Mark and although he was nice, his massage was very, very heavy. I had told him and he lessened the pressure a bit but it went right back to the same heavy pressure so I just endured it for the most part because I probably needed it anyway but it was okay. Massage left me confused and dazed. I usually enjoy them but this time, I didn't at all. I also don't like going to Massage Envy places because of the hustle they try to get you into their monthly membership plan. This was my first time experience a massage and found it to be relaxing. Before the massage from John who was is a very pleasant gentleman and was patient I had pain due to standing all day due to my job. After the massage therapy, I felt so much better. No pain and was able to go to work in the late evening and after work which is 2 a.m. in the morning I had no pain and was able to a good night sleep. MJ is magical. I canceled my membership a short time ago and as soon as I used my last credit with this massage therapist, I immediately signed back up. I renewed my membership for MJ so I pray she stays around for a while. The other therapists are great too, but I really enjoyed MJ. Oh and I can't forget to mention Brandy. She is amazing at facials. Wish I had more credits so I could see her more often. Just received an hour massage, which was on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the best, it was a 3. I gave 3 stars because I'm pretty sure he did his best. When I arrive to the room, i was told that the room will be cold and the heat pad on the bed was broken. I requested a different room, however none was available. He then came back with a mattress pad, which was wonderful. He told me, I would still get my hour massage, however it only lasted 50 minutes:( I described to him exactly what I wanted. Heavy attention to my neck, back and shoulders. I had to ask for more pressure, which was not applied. I felt like I was being caressed not massaged (not in a bad way). I will return because I am a member, however I will request someone else. read more

For my first real massage I went here with one of my best girl friends. We picked an hour long massage for the intro special price $50. My massuese was great. Asked a few questions to figure out what might be needing more attention and what I preferred and didn't. Being my first professional massage I was relatively open and would let her know if something wasn't good. Thanks to FourSquare check in, my friend and I were able to upgrade to an aromatherapy massage for no extra charge. I chose the Rosemary Lavender. My whole experience was soooo relaxing and the aromatherapy smelled so good. I felt like a pile of jello after the hour was done and was not ready to go home! But they've charged for the massage? I'm so over it this place is the Walmart of massages and the customer service is terrible. I booked myself and my sister massages today for her birthday. Sadly, I was underwhelmed. Both are massages were just under 50 minutes instead of the hour we'd booked (and no we weren't late). My mom, grandma and I frequently get pedicures here. We really enjoy it. The staff is very nice and gives stellar pedicures. They have a great selection of polish to choose from. The only improvement I would make it that I hate their pedicure chairs. I wish they were more comfortable. Fingers crossed that they improve those in the future. My mother and Nana do not have the same issue with the chair as I seem too in regards to my back hurting. read more

Horrible customer service. I only went there because I had a gift card. The front desk girls do not know what they are doing and in turn misinform you. The manager which is a lady with short blonde hair came out after the front desk girls couldn't resolve the issue of payment ( they wanted more than we were originally quoted). She was very abrupt, rude and argumentative. Kept yelling 'just give me the money' and after the second time I put my credit card away and told her I wouldn't be giving her any of my money with that attitude. I then walked towards to door to leave and she yelled 'don't come back.' I laughed and said don't worry lady I won't be back. :) I wouldn't give any stars if that was an option but unfortunately it's not. read more

Called to schedule two appointments for this evening...we are not members. We used to be and were seriously considering it again. The girl that answered tells me that they have two appointments but they are only for members. Its 4pm on a saturday...do they think they are going to book them in the next two hours and why would you risk the opportunity to not only make more money, but to gain two new members? If i was the therapist that ends up with an empty schedule, I would not be happy that my company just lost me money. Stupid policy reminded me why we quit to begin with.
