Told My Membership Was Terminated. Charged Anyway for 8+ Months. Refund Promised, Then Denied. I was a member of this Massage Envy location for three years. Because I travel frequently, I accumulate credits and use them in batches -- not unusual for someone with a busy schedule. In September 2025, I called to check my remaining credit balance. A staff member informed me that my membership had already been terminated and that I had no remaining credits. I accepted this, especially since I had recently lost the credit card linked to the account. I moved on. In April 2026, I discovered I had been charged $75/month continuously -- including every month after I was told the account was closed. That's over $600 in charges on a membership I was explicitly told no longer existed, with approximately 12 unused credits I had no idea I'd accumulated. When I called to report this, I was told the issue was resolved and that I'd receive a refund of roughly $900. That refund never came. The following month, I was charged again. What followed was a months-long exercise in being strung along: Multiple phone calls and in-person visits, each resulting in a promise that someone would follow up. A request to email the location manager, Sarah Warren, with a full written summary -- which I did, in detail. No response. Then, for the first time, I was told I needed to fill out a "cancellation form" before any refund could be processed. I filled it out immediately and emailed it. A week passed. Nothing. I returned to the location in person and -- not my style -- made a scene and demanded to speak with Sarah. I was told she was unavailable and to call back the next day. When I finally reached Sarah Warren directly, she appeared (acted?) completely unfamiliar with the details of my case -- despite the documented email chain. She then informed me that no refund would be issued because the cancellation form had only been processed later in the timeline. The same form they introduced mid-process, after months of other supposed resolution steps. No refund. No reimbursement for months of erroneous charges. No option to transfer unused credits. No acknowledgment that any of this was handled poorly. This isn't just a billing error. It's a pattern of miscommunication, broken promises, and ultimately stonewalling once it became clear the money wasn't coming back easily. The documentation exists. The email exists. The timeline is clear. And after writing this review, I noticed several others flagging the same billing and cancellation issues at this location. That is not a coincidence. If you're considering a membership here: keep records of every charge, every call, and every promise. You may need them. read more

I believe they are paying or inciting people to write positive reviews as they have a ton of lawsuits out on them right now. There has been some news coverage on this location and the sexual assaults/molestation cases that occur at Circle C. My friend is one included in such lawsuit. There are many as 8 currently, according to her lawyer. The owner knowingly hires and employs sexual predators who have criminal records. The massage therapists have digitally penetrated females and groped their breasts. There is an assistant manager MJ who also engages in sexual conduct with the fellow employees as I have overheard gossip by the staff. I have seen him follow one of the massage therapists to his room and heard strange noises coming from there. I have also seen the weed pen he smokes in the facility ON THE JOB. To make matters worse, I have heard them call clients profanity to their faces and behind their backs as they carelessly forgot there are clients in the waiting room. The unethical nature of the front desk workers has also mentioned how this owner steals money from employees paychecks and there are supposed open cases with the labor board. Despite the horror of this, the location is unsanitary, unprofessional, and has gone utterly down hill in the last few years. The toilet has had the same soiling stains for over a year, dust and debris lining the inside of the building, stains and holes in the walls, plugs in the middle of the floor (I have even tripped before), foul stenches from the employee break room, employees that cough, burp and grunt during a service, etc I believe Massage Envy as a whole is going to be bankrupt as all their locations have been closing, which now makes sense. Not to mention very subpar service, shortened sessions, and numerous cancellations in a row. I will be taking my membership to somewhere that does not employ criminals!! read more

I've used other massage facilities before but I've never had the quality experience that I've had at Circle C Massage Envy. I am now a member who has been going there for almost two years, and I have never had anything but a wonderful experience. The price is affordable, the facility is very clean, and the staff is quite cordial and exceedingly professional. Most of all, the massages I receive are extremely helpful in dealing with a variety of aches and pains related to stress and various medical conditions. Most recently I have been working with a therapist named Beva. She is yet another in a long line of terrific therapists who have treated me. I particularly appreciate several things about her. She always checks at the outset of my appointment about areas that need particular attention. She has a good sense of humor. Her friendly demeanor puts me at ease. She patiently explains what she is doing and why. And she checks with me to determine whether the amount of pressure she is applying is within my comfort zone. If you go to Circle C Massage Envy, I am sure you will have a positive experience with any member of the staff, but I particularly recommend Beva. read more

I have been a member here for several years and have been very happy with their service. Over the years I have had many excellent therapists and a couple that were only average. But in the world of massage, I think that is a pretty good track record. Lately I've been using Beva. She is is a highly skilled therapist and has a talent for sore feet. Massage Envy is not the "high end spa" experience but it is perfect for the service they provide. They provide massage therapy at a very reasonable price and this allows the public to utilize massage as a part of their wellness program. I could never afford a $100 massage (plus tip) every week. But I can afford Massage Envy and feel comfortable knowing that I can leave a tip that reflects the quality of massage I received. The rooms are clean, comfortable and quiet. They are a little small, but still big enough to get the job done. If you are looking to add massage as a part of your wellness program (and I highly recommend that you do) then you should consider the program offered through Massage Envy. read more

I am a big fan of Massage Envy. I've had problems with my left hip in recent years and find that if I get a monthly massage, I can keep the issues at bay. I have had 4 massage therapists at the Massage Envy that have really been outstanding. The best one is probably Victor. The latest one was Jude. They have all been very good. One thing to note: if you want a a deep tissue massage, you probably want a male therapist at this establishment. I had several female therapists there and although they were good therapists, they were not strong enough to provide the pressure required for a good deep tissue massage. I have been a member of Massage Envy Circle C for over 2 years and go in each week for a massage. Sergei has been my therapist since I originally joined and I will see no one else. He gives me an incredible deep tissue massage each week and I feel like a new person when he is done. I would HIGHLY recommend Sergei to anyone that wants one of the best massages they will get in a lifetime. In addition to Sergei the girls at the front are great! I have been a member for 16 months and have really enjoyed all my experiences. I have various "old-age" aches and pains which respond wonderfully to deep tissue massage. I have found the front desk staff to be extremely competent and helpful when making suggestions about a therapist to meet your body's needs. The surroundings are peaceful, tranquil and blessedly quiet. I actually go early to my appointments so I can sit and decompress in the waiting area. well, ive had a million massages at this location since it opened in 2006. OK OK, I worked there for a long time but I have to say after departing Circle C that they have the BEST massage therapists on staff in Austin. Personally, Professionally, they truly care to heal their clients. tip #1: have an idea of what you want prior to the phone call. just like you prefer a certain hair stylist, the same applies to your massage. tip#2: to best fit you with the appropriate therapist call at least 3+ days ahead of time. they are BUSY. tip#3: a good tip never hurt anyone! karma is a beautiful thing. enjoy your massage! read more

I've been going to Massage Envy for over 4 years to get a weekly massage. I've had a lot of bodywork over the years from various types and levels of therapists. IMO for me it's important to have not only high quality work but to have it on a regular basis so it has to be affordable. I'm giving ME top marks on all criteria. The friendly staff and clean environment add to the experience. I would suggest trying different therapists there until you find someone you click with as their style and level of work vary. Made a last minute appointment here as my neck and lower back was killing me and my regular masseuse was out of the country. I booked online and headed over to Circle C. I was taken into the room on time. Super brief consultation. Masseuse was young and in retrospect not trained enough. Massage was all over the place and the pressure was insufficient despite being told multiple times by me. I got the impression that she was straight out of massage school. Anyways, this massage envy needs to do a better job training its staff before putting them on the service floor. read more

Even though the therapist are awesome here the owner is a RACIST. he OK'ed the firing of the most hard working, friendly employee, just because she is Black. I am a member here and have personally ineteracted with her. Come to find out that the owner was not willing to giver her a promotion to the next level, even though she wa the most senoir employee there. How ever the owner was willing to give the same promotion to some one with less expirience and a bad attitude. I have been going to Leticia at the Massage Envy on Escarpment in Circle C for about one year for monthly massages. She is so caring, her touch is healing, I always feel 100 percent better for at least 2 weeks after I go. I do a lot of physical work and my body especially my shoulders and neck used to kill me and I suffered a lot. After working with Leticia I have more energy, I feel more relaxed and have a better life. I joined in Houston when it first opened and am "grandfathered" in at a fixed rate. I like the Circle C site best and have used several therapists. Currently Kim is the one I ask for most. It's good to have a regular and she's a great listener and very empathetic. Sometimes there's confusion over my rates since they are lower than newer clients, but 99% of the time it's easily remedied. Some therapists are booked out for weeks or even months, but on occasion when I've had to use a standby, the massages are still very good. read more

Everyone is very friendly starting from the receptionist to all the therapist. When you walk in the door they make you feel like they are happy to see you. My last several massages have been with Karen and she is great. She knows her job and really knows how to take care of your problem areas (and even some you didn't know you had). Massages here can be really good, depending on who you get... the front desk ladies are really nice except for all the upselling. It really gets old quick, especially if you go in a lot... Every time I call to make an appointment, boy do they push the facials! Then when I come in for my massage again Im asked... want to schedule a facial?, even after I say no (again) in person this time, they still push it! And it happens ev- er- ry time! Massage Envy- Escarpment Village has been amazingly helpful. My husband had bought a package deal for my Christmas gift (buy 12- get 3 more= 15 massages!) in Dec. 2019. Then COVID- no massages for a year. They extended my gift certificates and worked to schedule me in to get them all redeemed by May, 2021. I like DEEP massages. What I like most about the Massage Envy at Circle C is the competent front-desk staff and superb therapists!! I've only had one experience that was less than a 4 star rating. My 2 favorite therapists are Kerry K and Val! Kerry is very consistent and gives a thorough, symmetrical, firm swedish massage. I really appreciate Val's understanding of anatomy as well, which in my opinion gives her a great advantage over most therapists that I've been to. read more
