I have been a member for 9 years, 6 at the CDA location. I mostly use Nakita, sometimes random others if Nakita isn't available. I read a bad review of her but I'm sure it was just an off day for her. Not every masseuse is going to be a perfect match. My husband really likes Jennifer V. and I see other people do as well. She wasn't the one for me but that's ok, it's an individual preference. The front desk staff is friendly, cheerful and helpful. I get helpful text alerts when Nakita has openings. The massage was a gift from my fiance. It was nice and my service itself was great. Little more chat than I'd like though. Maybe there can be something in the pre service survey to ask if you prefer chatting or quiet? I am very used to high end spas, so maybe I am just super picky. My lady was nice, I'm just used to 5 star spas. For some general service and massage this place isn't bad. No offense just by no means is this like a luxury spot. read more

Jennifer V is the BEST!!! Yes, my daughter works here as an esthetician, but she recommended Jennifer. I've had pain & limited movement in my neck for 3 weeks, and after a 60-minute session, I'm pain free and have full range of motion! Super relaxing, this woman knows her stuff!! Unfortunately, would not recommend. I had Nakita as my therapist and she seemed very disengaged. I am not sure if she is new, or maybe I caught her on a bad day. It was one of (if not the worst) massage I've ever had. A lot of just aimless rubbing back and forth over the same area, constantly lifting her hands to get lotion, constantly moving the table up and down. She also kept the light on relatively bright. The vibe in the room just wasn't there either. Pretty sterile, and not relaxing. It sucks to pay good money for a service you didn't enjoy whatsoever. I'd recommend extensive training on employees so you don't have customers leaving unhappy. Also- I've had tons of massages and have never had somewhere take 10 minutes of the specified service time for undressing. I can get dressed/undressed in 2 minutes total. I don't need 10 minutes of the time I paid for taken off. Just a suggestion :) read more

I had a great massage....but, when u reserve a 90 minute massage it's actually only 80 min. They give u time to undress etc. I feel like this is not a good deal. When I pay for a 60 or 90 minute massage that's what I want. They should give the employees more time in between if this is the issue. Not sure I will be back until this changes read more

I usually see Christein for a facial, but was scheduled with Jessica. Jessica told me Christein was no longer working there (I found out she still IS there. THANK GOD!!) Jessica also told me that I had Rosacea and would not be able to use steam or extractions. I made an appointment with my Dr to verify this and he told me I absolutely do not have Rosacea. The facial was terrible! She seemed to focus on selling me product or upgrades instead of the facial itself. She talks in circles. I hate to say this but it was the worse facial I have ever had. I rather cancel my membership then be stuck with Jessica again. Christein knows her craft, I would not want to book with anyone else but her. read more

She definitely was understanding that it was my first time and explained everything beforehand with me; like what areas to focus on and how long. Overall the massage was fine just some honest details I would have liked to know prior to going- I had never been to a massage envy so was excited to try out a new place. I have had many massages before and for me the environment is just as important as the massage itself. As it is a chain I was not sure what to expect but as it is their niche thought it would equal out. The masseuse did a fine job, however it was the most dry massage I have ever had. Multiple times had the sound of dry skin attempting to work against skin. No robes, but not really needed. Once you are in the room the masseuse goes over a list of add on's, they also then inform you 10 minutes are taken out of the massage time for dressing/undressing. The room itself felt like I was in the doctors office, no decor, plastic room divider, and no oil diffuser or peaceful smells. Constant doors opening and closing with the only music going over the loud speaker. Personally had a very hard time finding that peaceful tranquil energy you look forward to from a massage. Depending what you are looking for and if you don't care for the extras just specifically going to get muscles worked on then I think this place would work fine. Personally for the price would prefer to go to highlands day spa or others in the area that provide the whole experience. read more

We visited Coeur D' Alene to celebrate our anniversary. Message Envy had an opening and we scheduled a couples message. We had practitioners Nadia and Rayanne. They were both just awesome. Both experienced, communicative. We left after 90 minute message feeling that any ache or pain we had diminished. We will definitely come back. Where we live there is a Message Envy location and we will definitely give that a try too. read more

Vanessa scammed us into canceling our appointment without warning us of a $50 charge. She later called back at the time of the appointment to then tell us of this so called cancellation policy we never knew about. To us it seems as they waited until the last minute to provide no service and still get paid. This was the last thing We needed for Christmas. read more

She helped with a stressful situation regarding my home Massage Envy. She stepped out to help even when she didn't have to. Customer service is so important to me and she was awesome! My husband and I have a membership in Las Vegas which we use frequently. We were on vacation and used our membership at this location and both of our therapists were phenomenal. I have been a licensed massage therapist for 12 years and I felt my therapist was very knowledgable and skilled. My husband is very particular (picky, whatever you want to call it) and he loved his therapist as well. The hard core up-sell after a massage is brutal! I don't want to be sold on a membership and products when I'm just trying to keep my zen going. I didn't even get a facial yet I was being up sold on facial products. In addition, the tipping process was the counter person loudly asking what I wanted to tip in front of a room full of people. So much for discretion. It would be great if you could check out in your room, discreetly adding your tip and then exit with no stress. That lobby experience was a deal breaker. I had an awesome Sensi Peel on my lunch break by Christein. She was thorough and thoughtful to not over treat my skin as this was my first peel. I went to work with my skin glowing and not looking like a fat tomato. I had a take home skin care kit that came with the treatment so I didn't ruin my results. The overly large pores in my cheeks have become less noticeable and the wrinkle crack between my brows has smoothed out with this treatment. I will defiantly continue to keep up and visit Christein again for more future treatments. read more

I have been a Massage Envy member for almost 10 years. During that time I have been to a number of locations in Washington and elsewhere and had numerous practitioners. While traveling, I availed myself of this location and found it to be top notch. The employees at the front desk are welcoming and efficient. Adam, the therapist is truly gifted. I would rank him in the top 2-3 of all the therapists I've ever had. I left feeling relaxed and so much better. I just wished I lived in town - I'd be on his table weekly!
