Eric, a massage employee, falls far short of what I expect from a professional. Unfortunately, I cannot consider him a therapist. My advice is to avoid seeking services from him. His approach is more suited to a car salesperson than a wellness provider, which is simply unacceptable. During my session, he persistently suggested that I wouldn't fully benefit from a two-hour massage unless I upgraded to his deep tissue or added a machine massage. His discontent with my session length was evident, as he questioned whether I truly needed that much time, seemingly just to upsell me. I came to this establishment seeking relief and support for my body, not pressure to purchase additional services or unnecessary gadgets. As a retired medspa owner with over 18 years of experience in the industry, I find it disheartening to witness employees prioritizing profit over genuine care for their clients. This encounter was a stark reminder of why I had previously canceled my membership. For those seeking a truly fulfilling massage experience, I highly recommend Happy Feet in Freehold, where the staff genuinely prioritize your comfort and well-being. i have been going to Massage Envy for many years. most recently my therapist is Malissa. she treats me as if i were her only client. and cares about my overall health and well being. over the last 2 or 3 visits, my circulation has been feeling better and lasts longer . no doubt i have Malissa to thank for this, i don`t know what she is doing, but i am certainly feeling better. it is feeling like a small miracle. i will continue going as often as possible, i am certainly feeling better. whenever there is an upgrade, we both agree on the sugar foot, as this allows more time on my feet and seems to help my circulation. i always recommend Massage Envy, whenever someone has an ache or pain. i tell them this is way better that a doctor with a pill or a chiropractor and a large bill. i notice that every now and then she has a new procedure that relieves and relaxes. it makes me thinks that she is always learning and thinking of me. read more

I have a wonderful massage therapist (Robyn) at Massage Envy. She knows my muscles and tension points well. Monthly massages are an important part of my wellness plan and since I have been going on a regular basis (5 years now), my neck and back have greatly improved. My previous massage therapist at this location (was also excellent) moved away and she referred me to Robyn. It was a smooth transition. I am glad to find these two excellent massage therapists. In my experience the quality of the massage is dependent on the therapist and not the location of the massage company/spa. I have had massages from "prestigious spas" and expensive locations, but none better than from Robyn and Stephanie at Massage Envy at Freehold. Not all therapists at this or any location give the same quality massage. But I have a good massage therapist and I am sticking with her! read more

Please be warned. Had such a bad experience with therapist Andriy. He was so unprofessional. Paid for a Swedish massage. He was applying too much pressure & I told him. He said that I was out of shape and that's the reason it hurt. He said I needed the pressure to get better. All I wanted was a simple relaxing massage. He said he was trained like a doctor and knew better than me. All I know is I was so sore that night into the next day. I even have some bruising. I would put a picture on but it's on lower butte! He was very abrupt and in personable. He didn't seem happy doing the service. If I had to guess, maybe he was fighting with his wife & taking it out on me. I did see him Check his phone at one point. I have been working with Danielle S for several years. She is the best therapist I have ever been to. Recently, after many MRI's and testing, I was directed from a Neurologist to have Physical Therapy for a thoracic back problem. I have been doing PT for several weeks. with not much results for the pain in my back. One visit with Danielle S, has relieved so much of the back pain it is unbelievable. I have already booked several more sessions with Danielle. Maybe I won't need PT anymore! She really cares for the people she works on, and is really concerned with there wellbeing. I have been a member of massage envy for over five years. I was fortunate enough to have been given an appointment with Joy B. shortly after joining. She has been my massage therapist since then. She is always friendly and professional and is always attentive to my needs, beginning each sessions with questions about any problem areas that she will need to address. I having been going to Massage Envy in Freehold for about a year after having a few health issues. I was given a therapist who was good and very nice to deal with. After a few months she moved. I was concerned about who would be assigned. Then I met Sadaf. She is absolutely wonderful! I have had massages at spas and wonderful hotels but Sadaf is better than any other therapist I have had. She knows what she is doing and is always concerned about my comfort. She encourages me to try other services that she thinks will benefit me. She has never given me bad advice. Just came from a 90 minute massage at the Massage Envy in Freehold. I've gotten a lot of massages in the past and have tried several in the Manalapan and Freehold area but this was by far the best. Front desk staff were very friendly and made sure I was set up with the right therapist for my needs. The therapist, Shane, was very professional and drilled down a bit more from what the front desk had asked about regarding my particular areas of concern. I left feeling the best I have ever felt after a massage. I can't say enough great things about this place that, honestly, I was a bit dubious about at first. I'm ready to enJOY myself! I have tried different massage places and the prices were enough to scream. A friend game me a present to come to Massage Envy. The person who had a space when I called was Joy. I was happy, so an hour later I met with Joy. She asked me where I was troubled and I have been with her ever since. My legs and have never looked better. When I have an apt, the temp of the bed is always right. She asks me what we should work on usually my neck and my back. I found out in 2015 I became allergic to certain scents. So no scents for me. But if you can get Joy she is very nice and will leave you feeling refreshed. read more
