Signed up me and my ex for massage services with my credit card. As soon as relationship ended I called this Hillsboro location and told them to stop charging my CC. They agreed and understood. My mistake for not checking monthly statements more intently but they charged me for her account 29 times (despite her never going in for massages) (I do recall being confused as I am also a member and thought maybe some of those charges were for my account- but they weren't). They were all for my Ex. My account was paid in full. 3 charges I got visa to refund. 3 the manager said they would transfer to me. They are refusing to refund me or transfer over the 23 other credits to my account. They told me to call an attorney. Horrible owner that won't do the right thing for a long time customer. Update- The owner didnt transfer over the 3 credits to my account as I was told by Angie his manager. When I got him on the phone finally, we had a heated debate. He was rude and unwilling to cooperate. He offered that I could use 8 of the 26 credits at his location only - which is an hour from where I now live. He deleted my ex wifes account and wiped out her credits without notifying here, voiding a legal contract where she should have had at least 60 days to use them. Essentially now keeping all my money from her remaining 18 credits =$1350. I reached out to ME corporate mulitple times and they have not helped me resolve this issue. Corporate passed on my emails to him directly. Jorge called me tonight and argued with me on the phone. He is now pulling the 8 credits he offered me and will be filing a dispute with VISA to get the other 3 charges back into his pocket. Plus he deleted my Ex's account with 18 credits. Its not enough that he stole 26x $75 ($1950). He wants the full 29x $75 ($2175). Hes a total crook. I have called the police. read more

It is Impossible to cancel your account. I have been trying to cancel my acct. for 5 months and am still being charged. Every time I speak to a manager I am told that all charges to my CC will stop but they never do. Also, the manager I interacted with was very unprofessional and most of the massage therapists I received services from stated that they were unhappy with the administration of the business. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience needs to be shared. I gifted a massage here, and my guest had a very uncomfortable and unprofessional session. The therapist appeared to be under the influence and actually fell asleep during the massage. I contacted the location hoping they would take this seriously, but the response was dismissive. Rather than making it right, they suggested she return, pay again, and they would add an enhancement. This was not only disappointing but concerning from a safety standpoint. Buyer BEWARE I went there 1x for a massage and enjoyed it but after that the phone calls and text messages I starred to receive from them every day was relentless. I work for a living and getting interrupted every day all day is terrible business practice. When I asked them to please stop calling me every day the young girl told me she was only doing her job, meanwhile I am trying to do my job. This was so unprofessional I was truly turned off by this type of harassment I never thought that something that was suppose to be relaxing to me would become stressful. Since 0 stars isn't an option... this franchise is a literal joke. My parents cancelled their membership here because of the rude management. They PAID to have several credits transferred to me but yet I wasn't able to use them because they "expired." My home location reached out to them and they refused to make any kind of an expectation even for just one credit (shocker). Would have been nice to know that transferred credits had an expiration date but I guess they'll just leave that small little detail out when you spend your money to do so. My wife needed to reschedule her appointment by an hour and she was told that she lost her credit for the appointment being that it was less than 24 hours. My wife was being seen by a doctor who had no problem writing a letter so that we could cancel the membership. My wife is a cancer survivor. My appt at 215pm with Karla...I was asked to get there early, which I complied and as people were coming in after me and being taken right in, immediately I had a bad feeling. This is NOT the Massage Envy I am used to...people were arriving after me and going in before me and I patiently waited...230pm...still nothing! Finally, the person at the front called the therapist and she was having lunch. She walks in, doesn't apologize to me and takes another 5-10 minutes to finally come get me. The room was very small but nice. Karla asked me if I needed any special areas to be treated...I explained what I did need. She must have spent 3/4 of my appointment time on my back although I mentioned my ankle. Then, the iPad goes dead and there is no music. She has to leave the room to get another one and then music still wasn't working. No additional rubbing to my ankle, I get turned over, she does my front part of my legs and then tells me my time is up! BY FAR THE WORST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER HAD! I wanted to speak with the manager, who was in a meeting. She called me over 2 hours later and we argued about the payment. She wanted to use my monthly appointment from my home spa and I said no. However about 3 years ago new management came in and this location has gone down hill in every way, worst unreliable appointments, unkeep facilities, etc. Everchanging front desk staff. The last straw was going to my standing 60 minute appointment only to find my appointment was delayed 30 minutes so they could accomadate a request for a 90 minute for the client before me. I visited on February 3, 2021 @ 7:30PM. I will start with the positive. The massague therapist named Jennifer was very sweet. She was also wonderful at her job and cared about my needs. I could tell that she enjoyed being a massague therapist, and took her craft very seriously. I give Jennifer a strong recommendation. She is especially ideal for basic pain relief. The issue was not the massague. The new associate at the front desk tried to upsell me many times prior to the massague, but was somewhat kind about it. I understand. They need to make a profit. However, upon exiting I was asked 8 different times if I wanted to join their loyalty program. I am a student on a stipend who is in a challenging financial position due to COVID-19. The only reason I visited in the first place was because my well to do brother was kind enough to get me a gift card due to all of the stress. I got so irked by trying to be 'hard sold' that I flat out told them I was on a stipend and make a very low wage annually. Even after this, they adamently persisted. It was pathetic and embarrassing. I was then asked to give a tip on my credit card and told twice that a recommended gratuity was on a glossy they display on the desk. This was also set up to be humiliating because I had to orally tell them, as opposed to writing it down on the merchant services pad. I told them a lower tip cause that was all that I could afford. I wanted to call back to get their names to let future customers know, but I am to embarrassed to do that at the moment. Jennifer is very good, but this establishment is not run well for the aforementioned reasons. I will not revisit. If I could give this place zero stars I would. I am not one to review online however today was the last straw of many unpleasant and unacceptable encounters. I felt the need to warn others about this terrible establishment. I first visited this location about a year ago in the hopes of getting a massage with a gift card. I was talked into becoming a member. I had multiple massages during this time with different masseuses. I have had a handful of unprofessional incidents as to which I had spoken directly to the franchise owner about and was given one complimentary add on. I continued to have inappropriate service and decided to cancel my membership. Recently I remembered that I never used my original gift card and have been in pain needing a therapeutic massage. I then called and made an appointment telling the associate that I was paying with a gift card with she acknowledged me and finished my booking. Over the next few days I had received 2 confirmation emails, a text message reminder and had also 2 phone calls directly with me confirming my appointment. Today I show up 10 minutes prior to my appointment to be told that they tried processing payment on an old card they had on file (without my knowledge) and it didn't go through so they cancelled my appointment. The staff also tell me that my appointment time has also been filled and there is nothing available. Now I had confirmed my appointment 2 times directly with front staff after the initial booking and during those conversations I mentioned that I was paying with a gift card. Not once was I asked to put a card on file or if the card they had in the system was a correct card. They also never mentioned placing a charge on said card to hold any appointment. The most frustrating part about this is that I was never notified that my appointment was cancelled. No voicemail, no text message, no email notifying me that the appointment was cancelled. All I was told today is "sorry for the inconvenience but there is nothing I can do" Save yourself the frustration and complete lack of respect for your time or your money and spend it elsewhere!! I Felt bad for the receptionist. Wow this place really ruined our wedding anniversary plans. We had scheduled a couples massage 2 weeks ahead of time and confirmed my wife would have a pre-natal masseuse as well. Upon getting there for our appointment we were told the couples room was not available and there was no prenatal masseuse available and we had to wait for 1hour....figured things happen and came back in an hour....and again NO COUPLES ROOM!! and the front desk lady Heather who clearly has no experience in customer service was very rude and did not take any responsibility....I will be taking this matter to corporate as the employees need proper training and cannot handle customers in this manner. read more

I Was a long time customer here and no complaints until this past Wednesday night. I had an appt at 6pm with Florian (which I scheduled the last visit with Florian the week prior) It's a 50 minute drive in rush hour traffic for an appointment at 6pm for me. So I'm sitting next to a lady in the waiting room and we start talking - she tells me they told her to come a half hour early for her appointment even though she had been there before. Not thinking anything of it at the time, now it's 6:09pm and Florian hadn't come to get me so I go back up front and ask if he was late? They then inform me that my appointment is with Jean, I said No, it's not and they said they were double booked for Florian. No, this was a switcheroo ! That's why Florian had the door almost closed all the way to room #6 and that's why you told the other woman to come a half hour early. You switched a Regular weekly customer to a different therapist so you could get that little bit of extra money for the 1.5 hour massage rather than the 60 minute. I book a session in June . when massage envy at this location called me they said I had already used my gift card .... and they I mediately proceeded to charge my back up cc. they charge twice . once I arrived at location they "realize " gift card was good . however they sales person guy keep pushing for things to sell . it got annoying they say it's standard policy etc . fine ! I got the massage . the guy help me as much as he could. since I was In lots of pain . once I get out i proceed to check out . I was relax ready to continue my afternoon. feeling a bit better . and wow the sales person comes in again trying to sell extra stuff. what a bummer and way to ruin the moment ! that's is so annoying! so he wanted me to pay for 3 months in advance . with balance of my gift card + what he charge me in my other cc. by "mistake " . he had already made the numbers In his head ! when I decline to do that he goes ok . you can only pay for the service with gift card but no tip on the gift card . so why would massage envy sell this as a package ? so ok - I proceed to pay tip on my other cc. after he tells me he will do my return for money charge as process - why would someone wait 3-5 business day to get money they shouldn't take in first place . if you do a reservation online I understand if you need to charge a credit card for not showing up but i was 20 minutes earlier. all their front process was very Rush . it shouldn't since this is a place to so called relax and en the time there! Facial was terrible. I have no words... My cousin and I just left and are extremely upset. We both had facials and massages. The massage was great, however, she requested that he focus on her feet and he never touched them. The facial was really bad. She is brand new and needs a lot of work. Her phone went off, didn't get a robe, was not warned that she was putting a hot towel over my mouth, no music playing, the exfoliants and cleanser went in my mouth and drip down my neck. When the woman upfront, Erica, asked me about my experience I told her my facial was short her reply what that their facials are usually no longer than 40-50 minutes... that made no absolute sense to me... if a business is stating that a facial is 60 minutes, they can't have their employee work how many minutes they want. Do NOT use this location. I showed up for our appointment with my brother whom I had gifted a massage to. Upon our arrival I was told they had the wrong phone number for my brother therefore they canceled his appointment. The appointment was made under my membership. I spoke with the employee for 20 minutes while scheduling the appointments. They had my phone number as well as my email address as well as all my membership information I was easily reachable. The employee reassured me that they would not be taking my massage out of my account because of the screwup. She encouraged me to reschedule with my brother for a different time and again assured me that I would not be charged for this visit. The employee in Deerfield beach lied to my face. They took my free massage out of my account without my permission. Next I was told I would be receiving a call from a manager in order for them to credit me back my unused massage that they took. That never happened so I reached out to the manager Felicia myself. Felicia then told me it was all my fault, it was not their screwup and there was absolutely nothing she could do to credit me back my unused massage. I literally showed up for my appointment and was told by the employee to reschedule!!! Do you really believe that a manager does not have the ability to reverse the massage or make it right for a customer who has been a member for over 10 years! I visited this location for a facial with Sandy. She is a great esthetician! Knowledgeable and experienced. I've had a few appointments with her already. After examining my skin, she suggests the facial I need, as there are a handful of options. My skin ALWAYS looks amazing when I leave. She is super sweet, and I am grateful for her input when it comes to my concerns about aging. She also turned me on to the Jan Marini products. Love love love! They have worked very well for me. Slightly expensive, but the results are worth it. I have a busy schedule ... I only wish I can see Sandy more often. She really is amazing! read more

Basically today I made appointment over by phone with Bianca supposedly manager of the stablishment, So basically I made my appointment at 1:00 p.m. I called 30 minutes in advanced to change my time for 2:00 p.m. there wasn't a 2:00 p.m. appointment available she told me 1:30 and I told her okay hopefully is enough time for me to finish up here because I got caught up in a oil change since 11:40 am for my car they shouldn't take more then 30 minutes but it did. Heed All of the Warnings! I decided to cancel my membership last year and spoke to the front desk person who inputted data & said fine. I had a few credits to use and noticed that I was charged again the following month. I went back & spoke with a manager in October 2022 who explained that there is a process and you have to submit a form. I signed & submitted the form right then & there and was told I could use up the credits on my account. I used up the credits and thought everything was done. Months later in February 2023 I received a call asking if I wanted to book a massage. I said wait, I don't have a membership. She checked and they had continued to bill me for 4 months. I asked for a manager but she was busy. I left a message but had to call back to get her. She was new & didn't know about any old cancelations but would speak with the owner. She emailed another cancelation form (I have a copy this time). It took several calls and emails to get a response which said they have no record of my cancelation and the charges are to remain but can be used for massages. What a terrible way to run a business. During the pandemic, when businesses where at times closed and even when reopening the risk on getting or spreading COVID was very high (I also work in healthcare and I am on the COVID floor every single day), I couldn't use my accrued massages (by then over 20 paid). This Deerfield location STOLE all my prepaid 20 massages and said they expired. I emailed them several times and they ignored me, I emailed the franchise owner and the corporate office who referred me back to the franchise owner. It went nowhere. I've been to numerous Massage Envy locations, with the Miramar location being one of my favorites. I recently moved to Pompano Beach and was forced to switch main locations. Andrea was my therapist - wow what a blessing! She was very soft and subtle but yet her hands were very firm. Besides that, Andrea was very professional and delivered the exact service that I was expecting. The location itself is quite small, but very clean and relaxing. read more
