Happened a little while ago, I was debating on writing this but it may help somebody. I went had a massage by a man, with very short hair. massage was going ok, he just had a weird way rubbing his hand close to areas I'm deem off limits. It was never overt enough to make a formal complaint , just if your a woman with any post traumas, get a girl masseuse. This guy was just too touchy. Trust your gut. read more

I've belonged to Massage Envy's for several years and gone to several locations. The manager at this location, who I originally met at a different one!, is awesome! She's listens to what the client needs and recommends a variety of therapists to suit your needs, which is critical when a business such as this is trying to satisfy such personal requests. I have found a couple therapists at 2 locations I enjoy but am always happy to call/visit this location due to the excellent front desk and management. I feel appreciated and valued. read more

Omg.... so happy with my massage with Alicia! I was desperate for some much needed pain relief. I had some terrible knots in my upper back that were causing a lot of neck pain. I had never been here before and chose this establishment because of the brand recognition, but knew nothing about the therapists at this location. I'm not from this area (here on vacation) and took a chance on this place .... and was not disappointed! I went to this Massage Envy last night. This was my first time at this location. The front desk was very friendly. That was a good start to the whole experience. I waited a few minutes and then was taken back by my massage therapist Antonio. I really liked him and thought it was a good experience. My massages are usually for pain so he focused on the areas I asked him to. One thing I also liked about him was he gave me his schedule which not all the therapists I have had do. This makes things easier if you want the same person other than calling and trying to figure out when the therapist works and how you can fit them in your schedule. Nice and clean. My therapist was good. I had a gift certificate and finally used it after 6 months. Everything went well until time to checkout. Front desk staff tells me that my therapist recommends I come every 2 weeks and can we set up appt right now?! Um, I don't think so...I just came to use my gift card. She then said for only $65 a month, I could get discounts for all my services. I felt so pressured, it took away from the whole relaxing experience. I literally couldnt wait to leave. I would recommend they cool it on their sales pitch. read more

On vacation in lake Worth and took a leap of faith scheduling an appointment for a massage. I had received a gift card from my sons girlfriend last July and it was in my wallet! So scheduling was easy and they gave me a special price for a first time visit. Well it was wonderful! The massage therapist was Ariel, he was fantastic. I couldn't possibly say enough and need to schedule with him next week so I won't say anymore. Otherwise he won't be available. read more

I recently started going to this location after being a member for close to 10 years. I was so impressed by the staff there. Everyone is incredibly friendly and can't do enough. They go above and beyond. The place is always clean and smells great. The therapist I have been using, Bertha, is amazing. I started with her for back and neck pain and she knew exactly what to do. She was very knowledgeable and professional. Sometimes people have preconceived misconceptions about the therapists at all massage envy's that are incorrect. Now that my pain is better, Bertha knows how to combine pain relief with relaxation that leaves me completely satisfied. read more

Very professional staff. I recently moved, but I won't go to any other location to get a massage. I'm a nurse, so I'm constantly on my feet and under a lot of stress during the week. Will is absolutely amazing and leaves me feeling so relaxed and stress free every time I leave. The technique he uses is fantastic, seriously one of the best massage therapist I've had. I can't imagine a better place to go for a massage & I've been going for years. I have always had a great experience here. The price can't be beat and that is especially true when you have to go regularly as I do (back problems). And where else can you try out a bunch of different massage therapists until you find just the right one? I especially want to call out the front office staff, particularly Taylor & Monica, for their unceasing friendliness. Every time I go in there I think I'm visiting friends, not just going to a business. In my experience customer service in S. Florida is often not (to say the least) the 'midwest friendly' I grew up with--but here, I definitely feel at home. The manager here is definitely doing something right. Front desk girls weren't very friendly, unprofessional, massage therapist didn't speak english, when I called and asked for an American massage therapist the girl at the front said "all our therapists are american." I said "that is funny because the girl who massaged me didn't understand barely a word I said." She was cold and not a good therapist, I was warned about going to this place. My girlfriend told me it is the "walmart of massage," she was right, they don't even have bottles of water!!! You get a small baby sized cup if you are thirsty. I called to complain and someone did call me back and try to make things right. I hate to leave a bad review and hurt a business, but I had a bad experience. During the message I tried to talk to the massage therapist but she seemed uninterested in talking to me or answering my questions. When I relayed this to the manager (or owner?) she said "I am confused as she speaks english. So either the therapist spoke english and chose NOT to talk to me or answer my questions, or she didn't speak english very well and the owner/manager was lying, both are equally bad. read more

Wow... What a waste of an hour. I came here today because my normal place is the one in Boynton but my dude doesn't work Monday's and I wanted to get a massage before my vacation. So I figured why not try this location. WRONG! The guy that massaged me( won't use his name Bc that's that nice) but he was awful. Barely even said hi to you let alone made u feel comfortable. His technique. Well let's just say I could have a 5 yr old give me a better massage. No lie! I really almost got up in the middle of the massage and say sorry I wanna leave. The front desk ladies are really really nice though. I must say. They tried to make me smile but seriously I asked for someone good and I got a joke. Don't EVER try to schedule a surprise appointment for anyone! Not only was the appointment canceled because it was booked originally with someone who wasn't available, BUT they called my husband (who the surprise was for) to cancel!!! Now my surprise was ruined and canceled because someone "didn't put in the notes" that it was a surprise and with someone who wasn't even working at that time!!!! I am so upset! read more

Do yourself a favor and read the reviews, then run away as fast as you can. The customer service at this place is a horrific joke. They will tell you one thing to your face and then do the exact opposite once the door closes behind you. If you do decide to do business with these people do yourself a huge favor and record everything they tell you. And for the record I've left 12 reviews on Yelp! - 9 5-star, 1 4-star, and 2 1-star... My mom and I went for massages yesterday. (We are no strangers to getting massaged.) We both left saying, "That was the best massage I have ever had." I saw Will for a wonderful deep tissue. My constant shoulder pain was significantly eased when I left. This Massage Envy is the worst place to do business. They can't keep good help so your massage therapist changes frequently and most are subpar to poor. The good ones find other jobs quickly. The management is uncaring, rude, disrespectful, and dishonest. Do yourself a favor and run!! A massage is only good if it relaxes you. I left there angry more times than not. When I cancelled my membership they still billed me. When I called and asked them to fix it their response was "I cant do anything about it". Hummmmm..... Like I said, run!!! read more
