Back in 2018 bought a 1year package for a friend/framily member for $799 for a gift. Paid for all at once. 1 year and about 8 months later, I discovered they had been charging me monthly for 8 months charging my credit card. I usually pay off my credit card to Zero every month. Life busy; so when I discovered they had been charging me for 8 additional months, I called my credit card company and told them I had not authorized the payments. So my credit card company blocked them. Then I called and spoke with the manager at the time. She stated that I could come in and get a message on them, even though I don't usually get them, and if after this message I did not want to continue she had to get corp. to issue me a check for the last eight months they took monthly! Well, never saw the refund, so I wrote the money off as a loss. Today I received message from them stating they were having a problem running my credit card for the monthly payment! Confused?!? So was I! I called the store and asked why they were still trying to charge my card, they said that the 8 month they had charged me for was up. I told them I had been waiting on that refund for those 8 month. So later today, the new manager called me and said I needed to sign a cancellation form, however, because of their rules I was not entitled to a refund because those 8 months(waiting on my refund) counted towards my membership. I asked, if I never used there services after speaking with there last manager then why were they still trying to charge me for something I never used, and why they had not refunded my money? She stated she was new manager and could only do two things I continue to pay in order not to lose the 8 months I'd paid for. Or I could cancel however I would lose the money they had already taken. I told her I wound never sign anything with her company company again. I wanted my money returned for the additional 8 months I never asked for. This company is a service company, that was closed for covid 19. And now there's not many people getting messages so I guess they need to steal peoples money just to keep their doors open! I'm going to contact the federal government, and the state of NH consumer protection. And trying to decide if I want to sue them for taking deceptive practices. Don't buy give any gift's for love ones because they some how believe that a gift is supposed to be a life time membership! This is the worst place, dis-honest, trickery, and i my opinion are just stealing peoples money. In the mean time I'm going to blog there business practices. Contact WMUR asking them to investigate. And find as many places to write them all the reviews they truly deserve! Don't do business with the business! read more

When I called to book an appointment the receptionist on the phone demanded that I provide my credit card to pay for the appointment ahead of schedule. I had called 2 hours before the time! When I asked for a manager the woman who came to the phone was rude and pushy as well. When I informed her that I was not interested in how other customers "don't show up after they book" and that what should be a relaxing experience has now turned stressful she tried to push more for the card. Are you a scam? Have I even set foot in your building? Seriously not worth booking or going to. I'd give a zero if possible! RUDE AND PROBABLY A SCAM. read more

I had a gift card for almost a year and hadn't had time to redeem it. So I finally caved and called the girl at Massage Envy, and asked her what my gift card would be good for. She told me I could do an hour massage which was very much needed. Booked me for the following day, which was extremely convenient. Very clear in saying there's paperwork to be filled out and asked if I could come in a few minutes early, which was no problem. When I got there I filled out the paperwork and then when I was done, the girl at the front desk (apologies, but I'm drawing a blank on the name... She was fantastic though!) sat with me and went over everything, asking about my life and also what types of areas I would like to be worked on, and if there was anything I was uncomfortable with. After the consult, she brought me to a nice sitting room where they offer warm neck wraps and coffee/tea/water, and shortly after, it was time for my massage. I had a masseuse named Sam. She was absolutely AMAZING!! Hit on all the knots I had, applied perfect pressure.. she had me completely at ease. All in all, I would absolutely come back to this location and I actually plan on getting a membership soon. Thank you!! :) read more

I was given a gift card by my husband, and after my first appointment, I was convinced by the staff to apply the amount of the gift card towards an annual membership. Once I did that, however, the service from front desk staff went downhill quickly. On several occasions, I arrived on time for my confirmed appointment, and was told it was actually scheduled for a half hour later then what my confirmation said. When I showed them the email confirmation, I was told that they had no control over the on-line booking program and should have called to make my appointment. Really? Why would they even offer on-line scheduling if it did not work correctly or if they had no "control" over it? They made it seem like it was my fault for using it and took no responsibility for it, even to say they would get it fixed. The last time I went for my confirmed appointment, they said I was not on the schedule, and when I showed them my email confirmation, I was told that the therapist had a death in the family and they just found out the day before. I told them I understood that these things happened, but felt that they made no effort to contact me when a simple email would have sufficed to inform me and give me an opportunity to reschedule. But instead they just waited for me to show up and be disappointed. After that I went through all the proper channels to request that the remainder of my contract be cancelled, because I was extremely dissatisfied with their treatment and would not be returning. However, they denied my request and continue to charge my credit card each month. They did not seem to care about my dissatisfaction with their disrespectful treatment. So my advice is don't waste your money and definitely don't sign up for membership. Once you do, they will charge you whether you are happy or not and have no concern regarding customer satisfaction. read more

After contacting the BBB, I am increasing my rating from 1 star to 2 stars as the management team is working with me now on settling my dispute with them. My contract is being cancelled, however I am still waiting on their response as to cancelling the debt owed to them. If the debt is taken care of I will raise my rating once again as I do look forward to receiving more messages from their talented staff. I never had a bad message their. It is just the upper management of that facility that I have been upset with on how my situation was handled. With the help of the BBB we have been communicating in a more positive light. read more

The receptionist asked him if I was previously a member and he said I was. We were told that it would be $18 For him to transfer a pre-paid massage to me. ( we have done this seveal times before) At the time of booking the receptionist asked if my previous address was Orange st....He said that he wasnt sure where I lived before we were together and she could ask me when I got there So we arrive and I confirm that I DID live on Orange st and nothint else was said. I go in for my massage only to find out I DID NOT have the girl we requested and needless to say it was the worst and most awkward massage of my life! When we were leaving and cashing out I was told that it would be $57 not $18 as we were told because the RECEPTIONIST SAID WE LIED when we booked the appointment and claimed my boyfriend lied and said I never lived on Orange st. We pointed out that was not the case and I have been there several times over the last year and I was never charged that amount. I complained that I didnt get the massage therapist we booked and that the therapist I had was awful. SHE SAID "OH WELL." She then went on to tell me I had a "past due" from 3years ago ( for sevices I never recieved) and was not welcome back until I paid for massages I NEVER recieved!. I wrote an email and called 3 TIMES and was NEVER CALLED BACK Oh and btw they ALWAYS start 5 to 10 mins after they are suppose to and finish 5 to 10 mins early. read more

I"ve used this location over a year ago for an entire year's subscription. It's true that I have had several talented massage therapists. But I felt that every massage therapist I saw here was as good as any professional and licensed therapist I have every seen. It is however a "massage in a box environment." The massages are only 50 minutes long instead of an hour and there is a "conveyor belt" feeling to the whole place. The massage therapists are paid a ridiculously small amount of money for their hard and skilled work, and the only way they can survive here is through your tips. Overall, however, getting a massage here is more affordable than buying singular massages at a salon. The cheaper price is the only reason I come here -- because I DO feel that the quality of the experience suffers in this "conveyor belt" environment, and the massage therapists ARE being taken advantage of by this corporate chain. The place is usually very clean and decently looking inside. I felt the massage therapists always treated me in a professional manner here. read more

I have gone to this salon a few times and have had 2 very bad experience. I received 2 gift cards from my sisters to this salon. When the first gift card was purchased my sister was not asked if I had been there before nor did they look up to check. She was told that the price of a massage was roughly $35 and purchased the GC at that amount. When we redeemed that gift card the girls behind the desk were very confused. They told us that we were all set and could leave. Later I found out that my sister was getting numerous calls from them. Because I had been there before my massage was not $35 but $65 and they wanted her to pay the balance. Had this been brought to our attention at the time of our service I would have paid the difference but to call days later with their mistake was not my problem. The 2nd GC I received was for $50, again my other sister was not asked if I had been there before and she purchased a GC that would cover the cost of the massage, $35, plus tip. I made an appointment 24 hours before the appointment. The day of the appointment I was on their website trying to figure out the difference I would have to pay, knowing I had been there before, I noticed that the price for anyone that was not a first time visitor and/or a member was not listed. This prompted me to call the salon only to find out that the cost of an hour massage was $78 plus the tip would be almost $100. I could get an hour and a half massage at an actual salon with the spa experience for that price. When I asked to cancel my appointment I was told there would be a 50% cancellation fee for canceling that day. My response, how do you expect to get that from me if I never go there again. After searching their website for far too long I was able to find an email to contact the company's customer service and was told that someone from the actual location would be contacting me regarding my experience. I stated that I would like the money for the gift card reimbursed and was told that was not possible but I could "re-gift" the gift card. Who in their right might would gift this to someone after this experience. The gift I will be giving is telling everyone to never step foot into this building. It's not worth the headache and the "conveyor belt" feeling! read more

Always an honest review. My first experience was way below my expectations but could be due to having incredible service at another massage place I used to go to in Pembroke. My appointment was for 3pm sharp and I was asked more than one time verbally and by email to be sure I was there at 245pm for paperwork and orientation. I already answered many questions at there website that they ask you all over and on paper. They gave me wrong paperwork at 245pm and massage started around 310pm and ended at 355pm which was not the hour I paid for. They told me dress time was not a part of the hour. They massage did not address my concerns they were rigorous about knowing before the start and in my opinion could have been done better by your wife or girlfriend. Massuse did not seem professional in my opinion or even trained to do so for that matter. Hey. You get what you pay for. I should have known better. Spend $50.00 for a better one than $39. Bad first and last experience. I wouldnt go back. read more
