This was my first time at Massage Envy and it was not so welcoming ! I got their on time for my appointment , was greeted at the front desk. I was escorted to the waiting area were I waited an additional 20min for my massage therapist . Secondly, went to the room and it was pretty cold, the massage therapist apologized for being behind, asked me a series of questions to see what I would like her to concentrate on ( when it was my time for the massage ); in which I already answered those questions in the lobby area of the spa . Next the massage therapist advise their was no heat on the massage table ( I like heat) , she said let me see if the other therapist room massage table has heat . She came back and said there was heat. Let's just say there was no heat in the other room. At that moment, my comfort level dropped and I was instantly annoyed by the service . I asked for the manager and when speaking with her, she stated : my apologies and we will not charge you for your massage service today; would you like to schedule another appointment. This spa has such horrible customer service. I can't day strongly enough: Do not go here. I can't believe how I was treated. And I've been to spas all over the world. The manager was rude and it soured me to the entire Massage Envy brand. I have a gift certificate to Massage Envy that I received from my mom that I won't use now, because of this distasteful experience. I recommend going anywhere but here. Had a very lackluster massage today at this location from MT A. The therapist moves very fast and super deep making it hard to relax. When working on my back the therapist was bumping my head with her crouch while trying to glide down my back which was one of the worst parts of the service. There were areas she would keep going over multiple times to the point it felt irritating to the touch and tender areas were pushed into despite me tensing up. I am on my menstrual cycle and was hoping to feel relaxed but I ended up leaving with aches I didn't have upon arrival. I should've spoken up more during the service because body cues were not being understood. My facial was decent but nothing special I wish they had blankets in the facial rooms! read more

Staff was very welcoming and customized my massage to my preferences. Went for a 60 minute massage and had 10 min with the muscle theragun at the beginning which really seemed to help release my tension. Their rooms aren't fancy, but I personally don't care as long as the massage is good and the facilities are clean. read more

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A MEMBERSHIP. I signed up 9 years ago, moved, utilized it at another location. Asked for multiple freezes while pregnant ALWAYS had issues. Our location went out of business while I had 8 massages left to be utilized (at $70 each). I asked for my money back, they declined. I asked to cancel my membership in July. They sent me paperwork. I mailed it back. They "never received it." Instead of calling me to ask about it, a 9 year customer who is already out hundreds of dollars, they CONTINUE TO CHARGE ME FOR 5 MONTHS. When I noticed the charge it was November. I called and they insisted I never sent it and refused to refund the additional $350 they charged me after my cancellation request. THEN she tells me she'll process it effective immediately and sends zero documentation. These people are criminals. Save yourself from these thieves and support local spas/massage therapists. Why didn't I become a member sooner! The prices for member massages are amazing and I definitely had the best massage I have ever had the first time I went. I also love the hours.... they are open until 10. I can't tell you how excited I was to learn that fact alone. The spa I had been going to charged $70 and they closed at 6:30 so I rarely got a massage. The girls at the front were very professional and I can't wait to go back. Great pampering experience! I have had Massage Envy gift card forever, and since I did not want a body massage I was very happy to find out that they offer facials among many other services. I loved it! Very serene and relaxing room, nice music, warm blanket, the therapist Cindy was patient and professional. I loved the products and the whole atmosphere. The appointment was easy to set up, I did it online, and got a call back the day before with reminder of my appointment time. You have to add Credit Card when you book your appointment, but you can pay with anything (including gift card, as I did) at the end of service. The cancellation/no show fees are steep, if you don't cancel in advance, but I guess it is to protect the business from unscrupulous clients. If I could post no stars I would. There was a mix up with my appointment and despite the assurances by staff otherwise the therapist immediately advised she would have to shorten my session. She advised she had someone else to see even though I was told she had no appointments after mine. She further advised that she never did massages over 50 minutes anyway and I should just forget it since I didn't seem to be in the massage mood. Front office staff did eventually apologize but it took them a bit to find there customer service skills. They advised that the Manager would call me to apologize the next day. Went here for the first time today. Very clean, very nice staff, EXCELLENT massuese (took time to ask me about my wants/needs in the massage prior to starting, checked in throughout the massage and adjusted pressure as I requested). They are a membership place where you can buy a monthly membership for $59/mo which includes 1 massage with that and then any additional massage is 39/for one hour. They gave me a brochure and offered me a discount since I'm a social worker and my job is stressful, but they didn't do any high pressure sales tactics, which I appreciate. You can also go there if you AREN'T a member (like I did today) and the prices are lower/comparable to other local massage companies. I definitely plan to return! They have really late hours and weekend hours too which are convenient. read more

The problem is.. every masseuse is different. I have walked out of there feeling like it was a waste of time and that my cat could have massaged me better.. and other times I am walking on air.. it always seems impossible to get the same masseuse since me and my wife go at the same time. Even though we book 4 weeks ahead it never seems that our masseuse's are both available.. so we try others and it is hit or miss. The young girls on the front desk can be annoying. It can take forever to check out as they sometimes seem clueless on how to use a computer. I am sure if the checkout app was on a phone we would be out of there in 2 minutes. My biggest issue with coming here is the length of the massage. They give you 5 minutes at the beginning and end to dress.. so 50 minute massage.. but time and again we are not collected from the waiting room until 5 minutes past the appointment. How can the 2nd appointment in the morning be running late when there is a 10 minute dress window.. Why not ASK people how long they need to undress? I do not need 5 minutes to get on the table.. a woman is about to run her hands on me so I am undressed and on the table in 30 seconds. I even tell them I only need 1 minute and they still disappear for 5.. read more

I'll be damn a great big turn around. The desk staff will actually recognize clients by name, they will offer you something to drink at the beginning. They go out of their way to make you welcome and comfortable. The masseuse I have now is wonderful! Thankfully she has been staying there so I've been able to get her every couple of weeks and it's been great. This one star review is only for the facial services ( I would give a 5 for massage!) Today was the second time in the last few years I've tried a facial service. It was going ok with Sally until I mentioned the previous facial felt like wasted money and that my college kid did a better job. I explained that I didn't complain, I just paid ( left a tip) and went on my way,. She encouraged me to always let them know of any issues. ( sounds professional, right? Well, she clearly only meant with other therapists). She was doing a chemical peel and going in a pattern on my face. The first layer was so quick I hadn't thought she was applying it yet. So for the second I paid attention. She completely missed my forehead area where I have a deep line ( one reason I was trying this service)and I thought for a second and felt I need to speak up. She also went over and didn't get the folds of nose where I also have problem skin. When I mentioned she seemed irritated but made a half way effort to go over the nose. The last round (she told me would only do 3 the first time) I was hyper aware of the issue and vibes so I noticed she missed the temple area. I pointed it out and she said "how rude!" I asked to be finished and she then was apologizing but it felt insincere. I couldn't t wait to get out and cancel membership. I have never had a spa experience quite like this. Oh and Sally will let you know she is a MASTER so be ready to do as she says! --You've been warned. I will go elsewhere. Again, massages are good if you stick with and stress you want a good person. Taylor, Destini and many others are great. I ALWAYS tipped great --and they deserve it. I've had several massages and total body stretched at this location in the last few months. Up until today, they were all wonderful experiences. Taylor and Kai have highly skilled hands! The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because I had to see a different massage therapist today since Taylor was off and I was assured this therapist was "very similar to Taylor in terms of pressure, you'll be in good hands" but that was not the case. I noticed right away that her pressure was very very light (imagine someone gently rubbing their fingertips on your skin) and asked for deeper pressure but she stated she would try and that since I was used to Taylor who has very firm pressure (I'd describe it as between light and deep) that she just could not get to that level. Pretty sure she also only massaged 1 of my feet instead of both which was strange. Honestly, it was the worst massage I've had in 15 years and I was so disappointed. Typically I don't complain because I do appreciate that people at least took the time to try to provide a good service but I mentioned my disappointment to the receptionists and they quickly told me they were comping the massage. I didn't ask for that nor do I expect it so that was a nice customer friendly surprise. So overall, they handled the situation well and I will be back. I took off one star due to the miscommunication and assurance that the therapist I would have today could deliver a massage up to the expectations of Taylor's previous work. I'll be sticking with Taylor and Kai for any future appointments, I actually drive an hour each way and bypass other locations just to keep going to them! read more

Everything was basically fine until I got a facial and they always try to pressure me into buying some ridiculously expensive package. AS IF I didn't just leave a generous gratuity for the therapist, I walk up to the front desk to check out and suddenly I owe 10 extra for a "product fee" that I was never notified of when they scheduled the facial to take up one of my saved up sessions. What's the point in trying to help me get rid of my 5 sessions I haven't used if you're going to make me pay an extra $10???? I already told them I'm letting my membership expire in a month because of financial reasons and they just don't care about you as a person at all. They only care about your wallet and what it provides them. Not only did this happen, but the manager made me feel really uncomfortable as she announced to the entire front area that she knows who I am and that I'm ending my membership. RIDICULOUS. Making your customers feel guilty by shaming them publicly is so wrong. I then felt obligated to tell the entire front staff (who most of them are very rude and careless anyway) that the reason I'm ending it is due to financial stress. THANKS for the humiliation, and miscommunication on your end. I had asked to cancel an entire month previous and they told me I couldn't ..... and then I end up paying an extra month and trying to go peacefully and this is what I get. Never again. I visited massage envy for a 90-minute massage. It was very nice and relaxing, but the massage was actually only 70 minutes. They told me a 90-minute massage was actually 80 minutes because you have 5 minutes at the beginning to disrobe and 5 minutes at the end to get dressed, but I was shorted an extra 10 minutes. (I arrived 15 minutes ahead of my appointment time, so it wasn't my fault.) Also, they WILL try to sell you on a monthly membership. read more

i had my first massage with me and two other friends but ones of them was running late however I showed up 20 minutes early. we were supposed to share a room. i don't know how massages work so i just said okay when she asked me if we wanted so be together. our appointment was at 5 but she didn't call me back until 5:25 since i was sharing a room with my friend who wasn't here yet while my other friend (the one I showed up with) went first. The lady i got name was Aasha. the massage was okay. she was really nice and friendly. when she stopped it was at 6 so i guess she cut off 25 minutes from my massage.. i thought that was because our appointments were at 5 and my friend was late but when my friend came she got a full hour massage while I only had 30 minutes and paid for an hour? i even came out before my friend who started 15 minutes before me. Really bummed about that. The place looks good and is nice but i probably wont go back. read more
