I scheduled an appointment because my shoulder had been bothering me recently and I had previously had a massage (a year ago) and that had eased the pain. I was scheduled to meet with William. I came in and was taken into the waiting room to fill out paper work. Was offered a warm neck pillow, water, and the restroom if I needed it. One of the girls from the desk came to talk with me about my paper work before William came to bring me to the massage room. He was amazingly professional and wasted no time once I was ready to roll. He asked about my shoulder, my profession and if I had any injuries that may have caused the pain. He finally narrowed it down to the question "Do you look down a lot?" Yes I do. As a pastry cook I look down at my work surface all day long. He really concentrated on the area on both shoulders and my back until he was satisfied with how they felt. I also added the biofreeze treatment as it was recommended when I scheduled my appointment. I would come back to see William anytime for another massage. I feel great now, taking his advice and drinking lots of water and soaking in the tub later on. read more

There is no option for negative review so that I chose 1star, otherwise I would have chosen -5. When I arrived late, they already cancelled my appointment, and pulled money from my credit card on file, and they didn't allow me to use the available credit & they made the credit expired. if I don't call them or if I don't show up, yes I can definitely understand that.. but I did both and again lost money, which is insane and very inappropriate business technique. Poor customer service and bad table side manners. I am a Massage Envy member and when I scheduled a massage I specifically requested a female masseuse a month in advance. When it came to the day of, I apparently had a male. I asked to speak to a manager who was apparently also a masseuse and was in a session, was told I would be called back the next day to handle the manner with improper scheduling, and it never happened. Additionally I had a 60 minute facial scheduled appointment. The esthetician came in at 2:05pm and my session ended at 2:50pm. That was 45 minutes. When I I quoted with front desk, I was informed that facials are only 45 mins. This is false advertising, and poor customer service. When I asked how to cancel membership, they said to call my home club. When I asked for a paper receipt, they said one was sent to my email. Look, I have been a member for over 10 years. I have been going to this location for at least that long. I have seen therapists, front desk associates, and managers come and go. That being said, I have yet to have one bad experience. In fact, I live closer to the Brier Creek location, but I drive 20 minutes to this Morrisville location. Even on that one day that the AC was out, I still enjoyed my massage. Maybe I did not mind because I know nearly all of the therapists pretty well. Maybe it's am just that loyal to this shop. Was a long time member here from January 2014 through mid 2021 when I switched to Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa. I only have good things to say about the customer service and the people at this Massage Envy and enjoyed my times there over the years. Switched to a different spa since their rates really went up to almost $80 in 2022. Again nothing negative about this location but cancelled my membership a year and a half ago due to rising prices. Absolutely horrendous. I showed up to my appointment and they didn't tell me that their AC was out in the back. It was 78 degrees in there and I was not given the option to reschedule or told ahead of time. The massage my uncomfortable bc it was so hot and humid in the room. I was getting a massage because I had a cold and it made my head hurts 10x more because of how disgusting it was and hot and sweaty and humid. Getting a massage is a luxury we are lucky enough to be able to afford. I have had enough massages in my lifetime to know the difference between a good massage and a poor one. I'm active, have a job where I'm on my feet all day long and I run regularly, workout and cycle 6 days a week. Massages are a treat. Although I 'm not a big fan of chain massage places, I have been to a couple MEs in NY which were stellar compared to this one. My husband has a membership so we decided to try it out since we recently moved to the area. Needless to say, I was sooooo looking forward to using my 90 minute massage tonight. What disappointment. The therapist, Quinton, must be a carpenter on the side, his hands were so rough and dry. Not only did he fail to use an adequate amount of oil but he moved so fast with every area of my body it felt like my skin was being tugged off. No joke. At one point while lying on my stomach I felt like I was choking because I had slid so far down the table my head wasn't in the little circle pillow right and the edge of the table was cutting into my throat. How relaxing. NOT! Not once during the massage did Quinton ask how the pressure was. The amount of time he spent on each area was not balanced at all and he ended with my feet? I have never, ever, EVER had a massage end at my feet. Typically, they end at your temples, head, face area and press on the shoulders. He completely left that area out. After almost 90 minutes of abuse, I was actually kind of grateful. I dunno, maybe this therapist is new at his job and finding his groove. It IS a new location after all but his lack of ability to read the tension he created in my body while tugging it around-especially my neck and shoulders which I said were tight before we started-is something that needs to be worked on. He can use a paraffin wax for those hands though. At the end of the massage he reviewed my 'trouble' areas stating I must sit a lot because my hips are tight. WRONG. I literally laughed out loud and told him I work on my feet all day long and am physically active 6 days a week, run, cycle, etc. He didn't seem to care. He was mostly concerned with covering the criteria, sales crap ME sells. We can't wait until our membership is up in September. I can't even say thanks but definitely no thanks. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else. UPDATE: Woke up this morning with dark bruising all around my neck, ind like someone tried to strangle me. My husband was outraged and called the manager who wasn't much help. Her only offer of somewhat empathy and assistance was to say that the therapist I had was one of their best (WTF???) and we would be refunded my massage cost. Gee thanks. I was a customer for over a year at the Morrisville, NC location. I wasn't using the service so I called to cancel. I was told I had to speak with a manager. I left all of my information and he was supposed to call me back. This went on for 4 months!!! All the while I was still being charged monthly!! I could not get a manager on the phone! Eventually, I emailed the company and was told I had to fill out a form! That was the first I heard of a form. I told them about my experience and had dates and names but they would not reimburse me for the prior 4 months I was charged when trying to cancel my membership! I was a member of ME at Park West and got my skin care treatments and facials done at ME with Sana as the Skincare aesthetician. Sana is great and customizes your skin treatment based on your specific concerns. My sin improved a lot over time after consistent follow ups with Sana. She is extremely thorough and her advice definitely helped me clear up my skin and fade the blemishes. If you have unique skin concerns, definitely have a word with Sana from ME at Park West. read more

My experience there as a member was fine. They generally had times open and the massage was generally good. However, I moved away, first to Durham and then to NY. I was able to pause the credits for a while and use up what I had banked. I did not need the membership any longer and formally cancelled the membership. Over a year later, I continue to be changed. I email the form again, call again, dispute the transaction with my bank again. At a certain point, it feels like they're not even trying. I never made it to the massage bed because the information I received was inaccurate from the front desk staff, who by the way, offered to return my call and update me with words of wisdom from the manager/owner. That didn't happen and when I spoke with the manager some days later, I was shocked that his customer service skills were worse than his staff. He indicated that his staff are young and didn't know that you should follow thru with a guest when you offer follow-up. The Manager was more stuck on following the rules to the exact letter than accommodating a guest who had experienced an unplanned family medical emergency and still wanted to be accommodated with less than the full hour and any service fees, gratuity, etc. Instead the response days later was a hard, "No," without any consideration that I could possibly become an awesome customer and referral source. We can't say enough good things about our experiences here. First, know that we have lived at several places around the US and have long-term (over a year each) experiences at 3 previous Massage Envy locations. And we have tried out a couple while traveling (Honolulu and La Jolla). Without a doubt, we have had the best massages here. I have been using William and my wife has been using Sarah for about the past 18 months. Unfortunately, we're moving again. Wish they could come with us! Very pleased with this location. They were able to see me the same day and my therapist was extremely knowledgeable on pregnancy and sciatica. The massage really helped with my pain and I am planning on making another appointment. Just a note: if you are pregnant and have any sort of high risk complications including gestational diabetes, you will need a note from your doctor to okay you for getting a massage. My only issue, with all Massage Envys is that you don't really get a full hour. I guess you getting changed and positioned on the table go towards your 60 mins. So the massage is actually 45-50 mins. read more

Looking for a place that lies by omission and takes your money each month and does not value customer loyalty then certainly go here. The worst member of Management to deal with is Mary. Her staff tells you to perform actions one way and she says something completely different. As a member for 4 years at this location, this is the first time I have dealt with a member of Management who leaves out information and allows room for assumptions or expects me to know that my contract expiring means it automatically renews. I even asked for the Corporate office contact info and after she "finds" it she gives me a survey number instead. Stay away from this franchise. Go to another one or try other massage companies in RDU area. It's a shame that my massage therapist has to work for such a dishonest company who rips people off. read more

The staff is always so friendly and helpful and have always addressed any issues I have had. I must say I have had a couple of pretty terrible massages here and with out going into much detail I will just say I was left wondering "that's it? Today's massage was with Charmaine and I was very impressed. She not only listened to where my usual suspect trouble spots are, she focused the entire massage on those trouble spots. I asked for a deep tissue massage and she delivered. I left today feeling totally refreshed and happy. I do not normally schedule my next massage due to schedule restraints on my part but I made sure to schedule my next today. read more

Treated myself to a birthday massage and I left here so disappointed. I had a 90 min massage and I made sure to tell my therapist as well as the paper work where my problem areas were and what I needed done. I was also clear what areas I didn't want touched. Let's just say I felt like no attention was given. My therapist was Jessica. Fairly quickly into the massage she began rubbing my lower back which was a area I said no too. I politely asked her if I had told her my upper back and she said yes but continued to work the wrong area. Fast forward into the massage I noticed time was almost up and I was still having terrible pain in my shoulder blade area so I asked her if she planned on touching that area again she rudely replied " I'm doing what u asked for" let's just say this ruined the massage. I was ready to get up from the table but still had 20 mins left & I really don't like confrontation. I told front desk how upset I was as I was here to start off my bday relaxed and I certainly was not. The front desk lady made the comment that she was sorry and that they never have complaints. Rude! I told her that there is a first time for everything & I'm complaining because I'm upset my massage was terrible and I'm still expected to pay the full price. No management was available to talk to so I have to suffer until someone decides to reach out to me. I've been getting massages for years and have never had this issue. Massage was fine. However, the manager was deceptive. Signed up for a year (make sure you cancel else it continues). Was told first payment will be withdrawn in March, but I would have a massage available in February. I already had appointments elsewhere and stated I didn't need the February appointment. She told me, "don't worry the massage credit rolls over so you can use it another time". Now I am told, that i never had a credit for February but could purchase the massage at the member rate. Well of course I could do that since I was in a contract with them. Will go to another location and wait out the year, since I am stuck but she is not very honest. I've been a client of ME Morrisville location for 16 months. My massage therapist Taylor is amazing--working on the areas I specified always with a great attitude and humor. My aesthetician Karolina takes assessment of my skin each visit, notes my chart and shows me my progress when it comes to hydration, lines, pores. She tailors the treatment specific to my needs. ME gives their staff continuing education so they are up to speed in their space. I highly recommend both Taylor and Karolina and find that I can generally get an appointment with them at the weekend if I call at least 5-7 days in advance.
