We discussed via phone what i was looking to accomplish and she gave me great advice and insight as to what to expect and what they could do. I made an appointment ( love their system easy to reschedule and schedule) and went after work, their hours are very accommodating. Fast forward to the appointment, greeted with infused water and good smells. Kim looked into my skin, and got to work. It was a great combo of relaxing spa and skin care. I suffer from acne and acne scarring. She gave me a plan of action and I feel very confidant going forward with treatments with her. Some highlights, they have a great selection of products and they don't press you to buy, location has plenty of parking and is on the first floor, and most importantly i left feeling great. I can not detail what Kim did, she was working and I was enjoying. I do know the next morning I noticed a difference in my skin already. As it stands I will always have an appointment for treatment to continue on my goal of clear, healthy skin.

Services: ive done swedish massages, facials and nail salon service which are all super relaxing. I'm not a big facial person but the technician is gentle and does minimal extractions (worse part but its very short). Most of the masseuses have all been great and you can tell they have some consistency with training which makes for a good expeeience. The salon is relaxing, the regular nail polish job is decent and usually get it with a spa package. Other amenities: they usually recommend items that were used during your services, the nail oil is great and only $2 lasting for along time! The relaxation room is nice with tea and light snacks. Parking is usually validated if you bring your parking deck ticket. Areas of improvement: I went to a woodhouse spa in Bethesda, MD which offered food during your spa services and also complementart champagne. I thought that was such a nice tough! Since there are so many local restaurants in the area you could partner with that would be an additional stream of income. That's where the magic begins. Upon entering, you are greeted by a soft, aromatherapy scent - this immediately sets the stage. You remove your shoes and change into provided slides. You are then quietly ushered into the treatment room. (Remember to silence your phone. Better yet, leave that phone in the car, this is you time.) We came for reflexology, a treatment I've never had before. While it's not required, you'll get more from your treatment by removing your shirt - sports bra is probably a good idea but you're in private so just a bra is ok too. (Remember your mom's words - always wear clean underwear!!) Oh, and wear shorts, although they will give you a pair if you forgot. First, you are given a tub of hot water with flower petals to immerse your feet in while you enjoy a neck, upper back, arm and hand massage. The oil is removed with hot towels that further ease any residual stress from your upper body. From there, you are told to lie on a the table and covered in a soft blanket while a warm, aromatherapy infused wrap is placed behind your neck. If you weren't already relaxed, here is where the melting begins. A deep massage is given to the legs and feet - you will wish this never ends. Once again, warm towels are placed on your legs and the oil wiped off. Your therapist then comes to the head of the table for a short scalp massage. All good things must come to an end. You get dressed and upon leaving the treatment room you are offered a small cup of herbal tea. A perfect ending to a perfect hour. Beauty City's prices are extremely reasonable. The spa is very clean and the therapists beyond competent. I don't live in the area (or even the same coast) but I hope to find something like this in my hometown. I highly recommend you take advantage of this hidden gem.

They get in deep so if you don't like it too hard just tell them to go lighter in the beginning. They have unique techniques (yes some of them get in the table to really get in there on a better angle) and they do massage the sides of bum which I love because that's a neglected area that holds a lot of tension. Staff is always friendly and so far every time we have gone we have had great massages. Definitely give it a try!

I called ahead to make an appointment and mentioned my Groupon. The spa is right off of Rt 46 West in Denville, right before the restaurant, Sogo. The place has a hair salon downstairs and massage rooms upstairs. My masseuse was Ingrid and she was accommodating to my needs and very nice! She gave me a lot of time to undress and I ended up having to call to her to say I'm ready because I was afraid it would cut into my massage but it didn't, I still got my full hour. My massage was great and very relaxing! Ingrid really focused on my problem areas and did well! Unfortunately, the Groupon is only for first time customers which is understandable.
