Me and my husband has been going to massage envy since they first opened.. We live in redlands and waited years for a branch to be built in redlands so when it was we was very exceited. For the complete time Redlands branch has been open we been having issues like they always cancel with you last min, they will re arrange you with a different therapist without your knowledge as there emoyees seem to all call out so much we can never go a month without there being an issue. Me and my husband both book out in the couples room for the complete year every year so we go every two weeks but trying to just get our massages has become such an issue the day of we just dread getting that call that we have Been canceled.. other branches we had wonderful experience with so in all the years I pay both mine and my husband membership we have had no issues until we started going to Redlands branch where we live.. today I received a call letting us know that three emoyees has left and that the one therapist we have booked with was gone. They wanted to cancel all our other appointments with my husband therapist for the year saying they have no one for us for replacement. She would not even try to find a replacement for me as she stated there a waiting list so it would not be fair to book us when there are others are on the waiting list. I said but we still are booked with my husband therapist in the couples room so i had an apt already so why would i be on a waiting list? She said because we book for medacal reasons its just best we go to another location. I am sorry but I found that to be so very rude!! I am so frustrated as this has been going on for so long we decided to quit massage for good!! I ask for a manager now for a year and one never calls the girls at the desk can get very rude when we are just upset because it happens so much. I am disabled and my husband works hard and his back needs a good massage or he's suffered greatly but is this why most of us go to get a massage? today was our breaking point!! The therapist have spoke of the management as having a hard time and they had almost all our good choice therapist leave so I think that speaks for itsself.. Martin my therapist just left and he was so booked he was one of there very best!! The other two we have had also and they were good to.. Let me start with the first visit two weeks ago. Registration, quick and easy! Appreciated the one-on-one attention, with the Receptionist. She was welcoming and informative; a comfortable experience. Plus, registration was quick and easy. They use iPad's ...#PAPERLESS!!! The quiet room has a fireplace theme and is clean, neat, and dimly lit. A nice place to quiet the mind, while waiting for a therapist. My therapist, Jazzy, was friendly, attentive, reviewed areas of concern, desired pressure level and inquired about "add-ons. She did a great job, changing methods to enhance pressure (by using her hands/arms/forearms) to help achieve my requests. She was cognizant of my privacy and I felt very comfortable. It was a positive experience and left feeling good about joining the monthly program and my therapist selection. Fast forward to today, I made a second appointment with Jazzy, using the app; super convenient! Once again, I checked-in and waited in the quiet room. Jazzy arrived within just a few minutes. She remembered me, which I found comfort in. We discussed areas to work on as well as, level of pressure desired and add on's. A few minutes in, Jazzy checked on the pressure level and adjusted more or less as I needed throughout the entire massage. Jazzy incorporated a few stretches in an area where I suffer severe stiffness, which seriously felt amazing and helped release some of the tightness and pain. I also used the bio-freeze add-on which felt great. She had the table warmer on and checked in to see if it was okay, when I told her it was getting too warm, she turned it off for me. After each visit, Jazzy has thanked me for coming in and provide me with a glass of water. Crazy how thirsty you get when you're being pampered! Jazzy speaks softly and creates an atmosphere that encourages open communication. She is accommodating, friendly and displays a genuine concern for her clients. She will modify and adjust at any moment; just say the word! My overall experience has been extremely positive. I felt comfortable, privacy respected and encouraged to ask questions and communicate with the therapist and other staff members. The rooms are clean and well-maintained. The on-line and app programs are user friendly and convenient. If there's any area for improvement, I would say it's the music (played throughout the business not room specific)Not sure if it's the volume (too loud) or choice but it felt loud or off to me. Having said that, once the massage started, I didn't pay much attention to it. If you're in need of a massage, I would recommend giving them a try. I'm glad I did! read more

Natalie is a magician. I box and weightlift so I've always got a tight torso, neck, and shoulders among others. She's great at finding those hidden knots and gently working them out. She's good at listening to you too... I've had some massage therapists who were too afraid to put me "in pain." I know what my body can handle, thanks. Natalie is great at listening to what you are saying and also what your body is saying. It's so relaxing for the muscles that I'm ready to throw those skippity paps at the gym when I leave! read more

I am a member at this location for over 8 years and the service has been nothing but great. However, during my visit this month when I checked in and asked to checkout at the same time (so I don't have to wait after my massage) the front desk girl ask me to wait... she walked out to assist the new customer and as the new people filling out the enrollment form, she just stood the for 10 minutes waiting instead of click a button on her computer to check me out. I think this is unacceptable to make members wait so she could hover the new clients. Very disappointed. read more

Being my first massage, Tiffany definitely lived up to what I expected for a deep tissue massage. My back has always been an issue and after my 90 minutes I definitely felt like I had a new back. Massage Therapist: Michael When I injured my back while getting an MRI in 2018 (yeah, no joke), I knew it would take a while to get back to normal. After dealing with the pain for a month, I chose Massage Envy because of its ratings and reviews and made an appointment with Michael for a 60-minute massage. After I discussed my injury and symptoms, he was able to isolate the problem, and I walked out pain-free for the first time since the injury. He also gave me great advice and tips for stretching during the day, and I have since become a Massage Envy member and twice-monthly customer with appointments booked into 2020! Since receiving bi-weekly massage therapy from Michael, my back pain is nearly nonexistent (unless I do something strenuous, like shoveling snow). The numbness in my arm has vanished, and my tension and migraine headaches have been few and far between. I sit at my desk for nearly 12 hours a day, so I'm prone to upper back, neck, and shoulder pain. Consistent therapy has been a lifesaver and has made it possible for me to work long hours, when needed, without discomfort. Pretty bummed out. I hate leaving bad reviews. I work long crazy hours and I made this Saturday (today) a pamper day to just decompress. So last night I made an account and was also able to make an appointment. The website is sooo user friendly and the options are amazing. I even screen shot my booked appointment and sent it to a few of my friends with so much excitement. Sadly the next day. ...The day of the appointment at 11:30 am I got a call from message envy that they had to reschedule my appointment , because the therapist had a family emergency. The odd thing was, they kept saying "him" I believe his name started with a "G"- a male name. I was so confused and sad, I didn't want to question it. So I simply cancelled my appointment. To explain the odd part, I looked back at my screen shot, it said I was booked with a Autumn Ann... The sweet girl who called did apologize and was very sweet though. Also family emergencies do happen, so it's understandable. I did asked if I was going to be reschedule for the same day. But they couldn't :( In the end, I went elsewhere. read more

The therapist came in and started the massage around 11:40. While the massage was fine, when he was done and I was getting dressed, the clock read 12:26. If I paid for an hour massage, then I should have received an hour massage. I basically paid for an hour in the room. I won't be going back. There are too many other places to choose from that will provide what you pay for. read more

Disappointed!! I walked in to make n appointment for my daughter (her birthday was the next day and I wanted to surprise her). The young lady at the desk was short with me while making the appointment and when trying to pay didn't she tell me that the card machine in front of her wasn't the one I put my card in...I guess I looked confused when it didn't work because the other young lady at the desk walked over and pointed it out to me. After I paid, I asked about the membership, again I guess I looked confused because the other young lady had to hand me the pamphlet. I am never able to talk to someone over the phone, so I leave messages. I have NEVER received a call back, so I always have to go in to the physical office to schedule my appointments. I have told the staff this every single time there, and they just ask if I have the correct number for their Redlands location. lol of course I do, I hear the "welcome to ME Redlands..." every time I call. I also feel the prices for ME are too high for the quality and overall experience. Nothing against the therapists, but I can get a better massage experience somewhere for slightly higher prices, plus I'll actually get massages the full 60 or 90 min, rather than what is usually more like 45 or 75 minutes. read more

I'm not that local so just showing up to get the balance without an appointment for service seemed wrong. I was told that was their policy. I'm not sure if all massage envy are run the same way but this place is run very poorly. About a year ago i went there and bought a membership, then it took me over a year to get an appointment, because they were short on therapist and could never find one to match my schedule. When I finally found a good therapist there they fired him. This place often will call a few days ahead of time to confirm your appointment, to than cancel the day off. So the most recent event was the day after thanksgiving I had a couple massage scheduled for me and my hubby. A 90 minute one mind you. They call and cancel my hubby part of the massage!! And offer him a 90 minute spot in the time frame after. How is that a couples massage? I understand things happen but wouldn't you try to find a what to clerk the couple together. Not offer them separate massages. They didn't even try!! Oh and when asked to speak to a manager they stated mangers don't work on the weekends!! So maybe that's why they can get away with canceling massages all willy nilly there's no supervision. I feel they should have found a way to fix the problem, but no not them. I'm really just trying to use up the rest of my hours I have and leave this place. Wish me luck in trying to find another day and time yo schedule a massage for both me and my hubby. read more

Woah I just had the best facial by Sade! I got a basic facial with an eye treatment and it was everything I hoped for. I went in for a massage when this location first opened up, and I was unhappy so I was skeptical about the facial, but Sade did an amazing job. She cleansed my skin, did extractions, toned , and used a treatment for my sometimes acne prone skin. I loved all the products she put on my skin and they felt high quality. She also advised me on what products to use for all my skin issues. Looking in the mirror my skin looks great already. I would definitely refer her to friends and family. The only reason I'm giving it 4/5 stars is because I would need to have a better massage experience here. read more

My experience here today was amazing. So amazing I decided on my first visit to ME that being a member would be a great investment. For the service, the prices are wonderful. I had only ever had massages on vacations and at spas which were more geared toward relaxation and pampering. Today, my visit was encouraged by my doctor because of moderate to severe tendonitis in my wrist and pain through my left side and back. Rochelle was my therapist and did an incredible job of suggesting what she felt would best suit my needs for this visit. She was very responsive to my pain tolerance and paid close attention to my needs to ensure I got the best service possible. Ella at the front desk was an absolute joy to work with as well in terms of introducing me to their services as a new customer and giving me all the necessary information on what membership dues were should I decide to sign up. The pricing even without memberships is wonderful compared to the same service at a spa or hotel and with the membership is an absolute steal. I never felt like I was being oversold any products or services which I love and respect about businesses. They also do facials with Murad products, which is what I use myself for skincare. I have yet to find a better skin care brand and therefore am looking forward to my scheduled facial in 4 weeks. The location was clean and quiet. The relaxation room was so helpful to unwind in and decompress before my massage. I felt comfortable and secure the entire time with the employees and the services offered to me. Been going here for over a year now. It's a business and there have been a few little issues. My biggest complaint is I always seem to get called after my appointment time. If my appointment is at 9 - I get called by the therapist at 9:03 or later. - then the service is up always before the hour - hour and a half. If you pay for 90. Inured you do not get 90 minutes. You may get 80. I have yet to be called into the room on time. My husband and I go once a month for a couples massage- we enjoy our therapists very much however - Autumn, who is my therapist is. Ot always available so I often have to have someone else. I have not been disappointed with any of the therapist this year (2019). I go for a facial monthly (or try to) - I'm still trying to find the right person for me. It seems once I find someone they leave..... read more

I've never had a massage before, so I was a bit anxious. Everyone was super helpful (going as far as to sit with me) and my masseuse Rochelle was amazing. We hit it off right away, and she asked me if I would have her talk or do the massage quietly. She was very understanding, and worked on my whole body and problem areas. The first time was nice, I had a hot stone massage and they talked me into the membership (I wasn't a very hard sell, I've been needing 'ME' time and it was perfect). I went back for a 2nd appointment with my membership today only this time my massage therapist was Marcus. I actually had an appointment with someone else, but happy accident. I can honestly say it was the best massage of my life. He listened and focused on my problem areas first before proceeding with the rest of the massage. Prior to scheduling the appointment, my mother requested the representative at the location to check the balance of her gift card. The dollar amount was provided . When my mother went to pay, the manager stated there was no money on the gift card. The girls up front are so friendly and helpful the complete opposite of what I read.. The 1st time I revived a message I didn't like the girl she really wasn't my style. First timer! I booked a 90 min massage! I was told at booking Intro Rate is $98 for first timer. This price after my massage would fluctuate if I didn't take there membership which was not explained at booking and the funny thing is they had it on a pamphlet which also wasn't showed to me till after my massage.. So now $113 non member Rate was what they wanted. Then because I complained and said it was completely unfair to bill me anymore than I was told I was offered a comp a 90 min massage then told well half off the next massage then told well let's give you half off your current bill instead then told my charge would be $75.. which was not half of $113 but so be it.. I was done! This has a huge reflection on management not training there employees right and left me felling that this was unfair and not cool no matter what the excuse and a few were given. Not only this was happening let's talk about the room and experience. The loud mini fan blowing the entire time until it sounded like it had broke and I had to say something after 10mins of it going off to stop it.. Temp not comfortable at all.. Table head cushion warped and not comfortable as my chin was rubbing against table while getting deep tissue was not fun head still hurts.. Had to move my head several times to re position myself. Therapist did the best she could but was not experienced as we started the massage with her pinching my back. Then pushing abruptly back in forth with no technique being used here. My aunt was 30 years in the industry.. I know what a massage should feel like. Had discomfort the entire time pretty much. But also with the therapist yawning twice during my session was a sign she was tired and didn't have what it took to get the job done. And didn't care to be there. After done she offered to grab water as she was no where to be found and not waiting on long with water as I thought maybe. Then I had to negotiate so dumb.. so unprofessional and I'm still in pain! I am currently 33 weeks pregnant with twins and have been coming here for prenatal massages almost every 2 weeks since the beginning of my second trimester. I have NEVER received a "bad" massage from any therapist there, but I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ERIC! He is so sweet and personable and he makes you feel very comfortable. Me and my Mom stopped in today for full body massages. It was both of our first times there. Let me tell you..... we were both impressed. From the 1st phone call in to schedule the appt to the moment we left the level of customer service and care was extremely high! We were greeted when we walked in and offered water before or session started. The staff sat with us and went over everything in full detail beforehand. Where we were then led into a relaxation room to wait for our therapists to come get us! amaazing! The massages-- I cannot speak so much for my moms experience other than what she told me... which was that it was absolutely awesome. Her therapist was Michael and she said he did an amazing job and really listened to her the whole time and narrowed in on what she wanted done. My experience with the therapist was nothing less of majestic. My therapist was Mike and he was incredible. He listened to my needs. He adjusted pressure for me and made me feel all around comfortable and relaxed. Being self conscious of my body this isnt an easy task. But he pulled it off. The level of care was out of this world great! And afterward he gave me some awesome tips on what I can do at home to help my everyday ailments. I highly recommend them both. At the end of the massage they had water waiting for me to hydrate and weren't pushy at all to sign up for anything or even to get paid. They let me relax and do it in my own time. I really loved that! I left there feeling like a whole new person and totally refreshed! I will definitely be back. You will not be disappointed! Especially if you go with Mike or Michael! I wish I could give this place minus points. Do NOT get one of their contracts. I have been turned away twice now. AND THEY NEVER REFUND THE MONTHLY PAYMENTS. So i am cancelling with Massage Envy, I am going to my bank manager to explain the situation to have the fees reversed and I am filing a complaint with the BBB. The last time I had an appointment, when I got there, they had NO RECORD of my appointment. I even showed them on my phone that I had called them! I had proof that I called to make an appointment but they lost it, so I had to go back home. Today, they gave me the boot because I told the massage lady "anita" i was sick last week. I had a sinus infection and I been on antibiotics for a week. So I am better. Although my voice hasn't come back to 100%. I thought getting a massage with the added essential oils treatment would help a lot. But the witch of a therapist kicked me out in no uncertain terms, accusing me of getting HER AND HER KIDS sick. Although sinus infections are not catchy. And I got clearance from the dr first anyway. So buyer beware of going to massage envy. They are a complete rip off. They have hundreds of dollars of my money and I got nothing to show for it. NOTHING. There are plenty of places you can get a massage. You definitely don't need to go here and have them treat you like sh*t every time. Its not worth it. They SUCK. You'll notice that the manager contacts people who leave bad reviews, but it's nothing, you're really will be much happier if you take your hard earned money and go somewhere else! (Oh, And they have people using the phone there who have never heard of a house phone. So they leave these goofy "hello hello hello" messages on the answering machine!
