I happen to be nearby and I noticed this massage envy so I gave a call to see if I can get a massage and although they didn't have any massages available until 7 PM I was able to secure a facial. I was warmly greeted by Sunita. I was going to be in her care for the next hour. She said that it was going to be very relaxing and then I might fall asleep. And she was right! It is a very relaxing Facial and it even massaging your shoulders and neck and I got A foot scrub as well. I hadn't had anything like this in over a year. And although we talked during a little consultation... I just relaxed and was in her care entire time we didn't talk much during the service. I just relax and listen to the music and I could smell the gentle scent of the products and felt very very relaxed. My skin felt very very relaxed and smooth and clean. During Covid my elderly disabled mother was deathly ill while she was full-time caretaker of my blind, wheelchair-bound 83 year-old father. she called massage envy and asked to freeze her account. Now my father has died from Covid, when my mother explained her circumstance, she was not treated kindly but in fact, She was told she would have had to come in person to freeze an account. She was never told this! This was during Covid lockdown and she was especially susceptible so why would they not offer to mail her a document or email an edocument??? Now they are demanding payment for those months when my mom had frozen her account AND the owner will not speak to my mom! In addition, the 16 months ( a massage a month) that she continued to pay for in order to support the small business ( even though she was sick), they are now insisting that she pay a $10 surcharge each time she used these massages she paid for! Bcz she accumulated so many massages, she wanted to offer some to me, but they want an yet another additional fee for that!! I wouldn't recommend the massages or facials anyway bcz the therapists smoke cigarettes and smell dreadfully. Twice the therapist had such awful foot odor, I could barely breath ( when you have yr face in the cradle 3ft from their feet- they should have clean sneakers!!!) It took a lot to convince my mother to agree to get a massage because it requires her to leave my fragile father alone. It was even a bigger deal to agree to an expensive monthly commitment. I was told no strings attached when signing up , little did I know after months of them billing my credit card ,I never used up my appointment DUE TO BEING ILL. I've been a member here for over two years. I absolutely love their work. Their staff is very professional and the place is clean. I love their massages and especially Facials. Sunita is phenomenal, she gives an amazing facial with a little bit of massage. I've been to many other places and they give 40-50 minutes facial when you pay for an hour. Sunita takes entire hour to complete a facial. Worth every penny!!! read more

So my friend gave me one of their massage sessions to use so I thought why not check it out, I love massages but this location was a little far from me (New Jersey), but it was definitely worth it. So when I got there I was greeted by the receptionist Deb, she was super nice and very personal. She gave me the paper work to fill out and sat down with me to explain my therapist (Felix's) technique. Once I was done the paper work I went into the other waiting room where I was greeted by Felix. So my massage was very good, and I should know I get like 2 massages a week. He had a very different technique then anything I've had before in a massage, but it was all good and he did a really good job. I definitely want to return. read more

First, let me say this...Cheo gives amazing massages. Unfortunately, he works limited hours which makes securing an appointment with him near impossible. Second, the management team is young, inexperienced and not very helpful. I joined their wellness membership and was being debited $65 a month. In November, I wasn't charged but thought nothing of it. When I wasn't charged in December or January or February, I assumed my membership expired and went about my business. On March 6th, I was charged $200. When I called on March 7th, the manager, Shardee, told me that there was a computer error and that they hadn't been able to charge my card for FOUR MONTHS!!!! When I asked why, she couldn't give me a reason. All she kept saying was my name was never added to the error list that she receives each month. I was floored!! When I asked why no one contacted me, she said no one knew there was problem with my account. Really?? No one knew?? Funny thing...MY NAME WAS CONVENIENTLY ADDED TO THE LIST ON 3/7, THE DAY AFTER THEY TOOK MY $200!!!!!! I asked for a refund and was told I'd be contacted no later than 3/12. She never called. I called her on 3/14 and was told the regional manager wouldn't authorize a refund. I haven't used their services since November but I'm still responsible to pay them. I turned in a claim to my bank immediately!! The membership is a scam and the managers are thieves!!!! I will never return or recommend their services to anyone again. read more

Great place! My husband and I love our massages and have become pretty picky. Massage Envy in general seemed to be the best deal so we tried out a few locations. Initially signing up in Jenkintown, we have tried also tried Warrington and Southhampton. The Southhampton location is by far our favorite location. Not only is the front staff kind and helfpul, the masseuses (Grace, Jos and Craig) are professional and great. The location has plenty of parking and the inside is always clean. The tables are always made, changed and smell clean. Each person I've had listens to what I want and does a great job assessing if the pressure is acceptable. The lack of pressure and intensity during the massage upset me quite a bit especially considering how much we pay for this. My fiancé and I went this evening to enjoy an hour long couple's massage. Although the receptionist was friendly and accommodating and everything was clean, both me and my fiancé did not enjoy our massages at all. I experienced something during the massage that I thought was a mistake during it but now seems to be disturbing. I had my entire back and legs worked on, and several times the massage therapist (Felix) stretched parts of my back but while he did I felt the crotch-region of his pants touching my hand. Since I was face down and my hands were underneath the sheet/blanket (my palms facing upwards)I thought that during it I must have been paranoid or mistaking part of his leg for his crotch. However afterward when I told this to my fiancé, who had a much bigger massage therapist than mine, he told me that he hadn't experienced that with his massage and it was very strange for a mistake like that to happen more than once. When it came to the actual massage, me and my fiancé both agreed that we give each other better massages than the one we received and that it was a waste of our money. read more

Had a facial at massagenvy for the first time today. Overall the experience was good. My esthetician was courteous enough. Typically when I get a massage or facial I don't converse much and I try to really relax and focus on myself for an hour. Unfortunately it seemed like that was a challenge. I walked in and was greeted and asked to fill out paperwork. Meanwhile, I was subjected to listening to the three girls manning the desk gossip and giggle. Not really a set-up for a relaxing facial. Next I was taken to a separate waiting area and reviewed my paperwork very briefly (it seemed like an attempt to be a high end spa when I don't think it was at all necessary) and then the esthetician arrived and took me back into the front waiting room before going to the room where I'd get my facial. Not exactly a smooth transition. In the room she reviewed my skin type and essentially told me which facial she recommended while starting it. It was less of a conversation and more of a assertion of her thoughts. This wasn't a big deal for me I let it go and settled down to enjoy the facial. The esthetician was very technical and talked me through each step. Although, she seemed a little less at ease after I stopped responding (like I said I don't really like conversing while having facials) it went well. The facial overall was decent and enjoyable. The room was very clean and professional. After the facial I went back to the front room and listened to the sales pitch that typically follows facials. Once I decline the array of products I was offered a membership. At massage envy a membership implies that you must receive a massage once a month otherwise all services cost double after the first try. If there was anything I could change from my visit it would be the front desk recipient and the endless sales pitches. read more

I started going to Massage Envy in December 2013 after another place closed up and ME honored my group on. This place is beautiful. Spotless. The staff - front desk to masseuse to beauty/facial experts - are exemplary. I took out a year's membership and had second thoughts (for a few days) back in December. But I am so glad I did this. Not just because it makes me feel good, but massage and facial treatments are beneficial. DO NOT EVER GET THE MONTHLY MEMBERSHIP. The front desk staff have told me 3 different ways to cancel my membership and each person I speak with tells me something different. I was charged even after trying to cancel and its been over 3 weeks to try and get it resolved with no resolution as yet. You can NEVER get a manager or owner on the phone to speak and of course no one will call back. If you look online there are even whole websites out there complaining about massage envy everywhere. Do not use and do not join. Please pass on to friends or family who may use or think about going there. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone, however I would not recommend getting a membership unless you truly are able to go once a month and utilize it.
