Love my monthly trips here! Great price for a full hour massage. Basic massage is cheap and you can always add a heating pad, aromatherapy, etc... Be sure to tell them what type of massage you're looking for when you make your appointment so they can put you with a therapist that specializes in that area. Dennis is great for deep tissue! I've gotten massages at few different places but by far this has been my favorite one. We walked in and were greeted immediately. Our masseuse was very friendly and informative, she suggested some add ons but wasn't pushy about it which I really liked. Katherine was great she made sure I was confortable and after the massage she gave me some in formation to help my tennis elbow. This place just opened in December. Their introductory offers are quite attractive. The place is a bit cold both in temperature as well as in decoration in the room. A bit clinical. The waiting area is tastefully done. The staff was friendly and professional. The therapist I had spent too much time on my legs even after I told her I had issues with my shoulder which I wanted her to focus on. I'll try them again some time but with another therapist. I had a two hour with Jennifer. Absolutely the most relaxing. She worked into knots and reached every part of my body. Her head massage was relaxing and not a head scrub as some therapists do. I left looking like I had a great nights sleep. She asked if she was deep enough and otherwise it was quiet and relaxing with music. Talked all through the massage about her life and her body, having to go pee because she drank coffee so she could move her bowels, being vegetarian, how she was spending thanksgiving. Not answering did not help. Asked for extra attention to areas and got that but did not turn over until 10 minutes until the two hours was almost over. Head scrubber. Complained about her therapy room. Uneven pressure with not real pattern. Not relaxing not someone I would ever use again. Did no glute work. Actually draped me so she would not touch the glutes. Spent a lot of time tucking the sheet so I was shielded there. Took a bathroom break halfway through and assured me she would make it up. Told me to go to Glen Ivy because she heard they did great therapy. Talked about other therapists. Two hours I will never get back. Do not believe she has 14 years of experience. Very disappointed today I had appointment at 1 o clock and receptionist told me to have one hour in the sauna ,after an hour someone will come and she will do my facial so I sat in sauna and after sometime I felt like my head is hurting so went to see the time and it 2.45 pm!! I called receptionist and she came and she said "oh are you done with facial?" I said no, no one came to me in 2 hour she said ok let me check . She came back and told me o sorry the lady forgot about u and she went for lunch and she's not answering the phone but meanwhile we'll do the massage. (I got the 3 hour sauna,facial,massage deal) I was calm and patiently sat in the room waiting for someone to come for massage and no one came! Thats when I got angry and came out. Can't wait to use up my 15 massages that I have already paid for. I can't cancel my membership because I lose the 15 I paid for. The can't freeze my account for 3 months because during that time freeze I can't make an appointment. My mission is to go and go until the 15 massages are used up and than I will cancel. The staff is very friendly but the policy is silly. I wonder what a lawyer would say. They keep taking my money every month but if I cancel I lose everything I've paid for? I generally don't write reviews, but today was my first visit here. I called and made an appointment, letting them know I had a $50 gc to use. Received a great massage from Diana and intended to become a regular with her. In my intake I discussed w/ Diana my gc and asked if the massage was $40. She said she thought first timers was $30 (which is what my friend who gave me gc had said). When I went to pay at the counter afterwards, I handed over my gc and got to talking about the tip and walked out after tipping. Realizing I had not been given my gc back, I went back in where I was told that my massage cost was $50. I didn't argue. I came home asking friend again and looking up online. Everywhere it states first timer is $30. I called back and was told by Jasmine that corporate doesn't allow them to sell gc for less than $49.95 and that when a gc is used to pay, it is automatically charged at $49.95, not introductory regardless of how many times you've been. No one ever said anything about that while using it. To me, gc are the perfect way to get new customers. However, they use gc to cheat new customers. I will never go back. Sadly. After being a member of this spa for over two years, I made the decision to cancel my membership after a visit today. I love my aesthetician but she no longer had access to a steamer and the lamp for extractions. Hard to do a good job without the right tools. When I asked the receptionist about the lack of tools, all she said was ask the aesthetician. Very rude! The monthly membership increase was due to utilization of better facial product so I was OK with it but now they don't have a steamer or lamp. Doesn't add up. I'll be taking my business elsewhere. Lots of competition where I can get value for my money. Sad to leave. Sometimes change is not a good thing. Hope new ownership understands that people pay for service and value. read more

My husband and I got a couples massage here. It's a nice place and has a fantastic intro price ($29/person/hour). My husband loved his massage, mine was just alright. I've definitely had better. Our appt was at 3:30, they didn't come out until 3:35. By the time we started our massage it was 3:40. Then it ended at 4:25. Our "hour" massage ended up being 45 minutes. Just something to think about! Didn't care too much since it was so cheap, but it's wrong to advertise it as an hour if it's really not. read more

I went in for a massage today with Scott. Super informative and knowledgeable. My appt was at 6 and I watched the time because of all the reviews, I was taken in at 6:02, told him what I wanted, he left room for me to get on table and started at 6:06. He went until 7:00. An hour massage usually goes 50 minute's from start to finish. This has been the norm for me since I have been getting massages for 32 years. It's unfortunate of the reviews of 35, 40 mins, etc. That would upset me too. I did experience that very same issue at the Huntington Beach location with my sister. She went in after me and finished a full 10 mins before me and our appts were at the same time. I will not go back to that location but I will be back to see Scott at this one. read more

They had me fill out a form asking questions which gave me the impression I was about to receive a pretty good massage. The girl who did my massage seamed unenthusiastic and basically gave me an hour long back pat. Afterwards I tipped 5 dollars instead of the recommended 10, and got terrible looks from the front desk. I have a membership at another massage place, and I have to say I have never had a massage anywhere as good as Marisella at Green gave me. I have severe arthritis in my neck and usually have a heating pad on it at night. I also typically have pretty severe pain by then end of any givven day. I would say, from the one massage I have received from her that my pain has decreased 50%. Imagine getting one monthly. I previously purchased a package deal for 3 massages and only got to use one because they "expired" which I was never told it could expire and it makes no sense because it wasn't like it was free massages I PAID for the 3 massages and I only got one. The employees basically blew me off and didn't try to work with me at all. Also the massages are suppose to be 30 minutes but it's really only 20 minutes because they give you 5 minutes to undress and 5 minutes to get dressed. Ok, so I have been getting massages since I was 19 because I got into a bad car accident. I have been to several different massage places before to try to find someone that I like, that can massage me the way I want (which is extremely deep tissue) and to no avail, I found Britney. SHE IS PHENOMENAL!!!!! Ever since the first day I went in there I have been going weekly to get a massage with her...My fiancé even gets one from her once a week as well. The whole staff is amazing there, well the ones I have come into contact with....the night receptionist is seriously the best as well!!!!!! She does an amazing job making you feel welcome and part of the Family there.....She gets you a drink of water when you walk in and chit chats to make you more comfortable. When the massage therapist takes you back to your room, they give you plenty of time to undressed and get comfortable, the tables have warmers on them. The room has a very ambient feel to it, light music playing and its very dim in the room. My fiancé falls asleep almost every time in there, but I am a talker so I talk to Britney while she massages me but I get quiet sometimes when I am really deep into the massage. I am a lifer here (well as long as Britney is there)....I also got a facial from DAWN. Seriously the best esthetician....Britney recommended her to me. All in All this is by far the best massage place from OC to San Diego......I would completely recommend this place to EVERYONE.....I mean my sister and her BF go here as well. If you ever don't know what to get someone as a gift, I highly recommend getting a gift certificate here and make sure you get Britney for massages and Dawn for esthetician (facial). So I've never given a review bc I've never had such a bad experience at any establishment. First let me mention the customer service was TERRIBLE. I called in a day before to book an appointment for a couples massage for my husband and I. When I booked the appt they asked for my credit card information to hold the appt (which I provided) then before we hung the receptionist told me if I needed to make any arrangements to give them a call back. My husband got home late that evening and so I called first thing the next morning and asked them to reschedule for the next day because my husband had a doctors appt. Levni said they couldn't reschedule and they were going to charge me the full amount for both massages bc we weren't coming in. I was so upset I just hung up the phone so my husband called back and asked to speak with a manager and of course Levni said she was the manager. My husband was very nice and tried to negotiate with her bc he had a doctors appt that we absolutely could not miss!!! Levni placed him on hold for over 5 minutes and when she came back she said "no sorry there isn't anything we can do for you." She asked my cousin "is there anything else we can do because there are other phone calls that I need to take" and while my husband was trying to ask her a question she hung up the phone. Sad thing is my husband was actually trying to work it out and trying to get me to go in today at a later time so for Levni to just hang up was soooooo unprofessional. I was a massage spa first timer and my experience was pleasant. My husband and I made a same day appointment (which is usually impossible) for a 90 minute couple's massage. We arrived ten minutes early to be greeted warmly by the receptionist. We filled out a brief pre-massage questionnaire so the therapists could better understand and accommodate our likes/dislikes. My therapist was Melissa. She was very personable and welcoming while introducing herself and explaining the process of the massage. I have a few health problems that she needed to be aware of and she was completely understanding and attentive. However, throughout the 90 minutes she was sneezing and coughing often enough for me to feel I needed to make light of it so she didn't feel uncomfortable (I actually asked if she was allergic to me). I enjoyed the massage itself very much. I was pleasantly surprised at how gentle Melissa's hands were. I am very sensitive to pain and she was awesome. I'm assuming my husband enjoyed his because he fell asleep and was snoring. All in all we had a great couple's massage! read more

Ambience is nice but parking is not. Most importantly, I've had two bad massages here over the past six months with two different therapists. The first time I asked for medium pressure and got medium-light. This past time I asked for deep pressure and maybe got medium. I'm used to a deep pressure that breaks up the knots on my back even though it makes me sore the next day because it feels better in the long run. I'm also used to massage therapists finding my knots. The therapists I've had here seem to go through a scripted routine not considering the recipients' needs. This was truly a pleasurable experience. The service is well deserving of five stars. I had a full hour deep tissue massage and a full hour facial. Both were professionally done by Lupe. You seriously can't beat their price. I do agree that the ONLY negative is the location due to limited parking.
