I was in today for the first time at this spa. First off. Parking is rediculous. I had to park across the street at Walmart. I entered the spa and the girl that greeted me was not so friendly. Super attitude. She gave me paperwork and sent me to another room. She then brought in more paperwork and said "I'll be your therapist so you have time". That's about all that was said to me. I brought it back to he and I got a "give me 4 minutes"..... Ok. About 15 min later (keep in mind this is now after my session should have started) another girl, not the one who says she will he my therapist comes to get me And says she's replacing the other girl. Ok. So I get in the room, then on the table and wait some more. When the therapist comes in she forgets a towel so has to leave again. So my hr massage started probably 15-20 min late. The massage itself was just ok. Nothing special. I then go to pay. Expecting the introductory rate and get overcharged by $10. So then they have to refund and recharge me. Overall. Not a great experience. I will go to massage envy in the future. read more

I have been getting regular (twice monthly) massages for the past several years to aide with arthritis in my back. I was a member of a couple other spas, but found I was paying a lot more for extras (sauna, whirlpool, ect) I never used. At massage green, I am paying a lot less and getting an excellent massage which is all I want. The staff has always been friendly and courteous and the facility is clean and nicely decorated. Like anywhere else, it may take going through a few therapist to find the one for you. I was fortunate to find the perfect therapist for me and look forward to my massages. read more

Very disappointed! I received a gift card for my birthday and so did my husband. We tried to use them once before at this location and had an issue with getting females vs male therapist. Sadly, the receptionist rather argue with my husband than to try and offer any sort of customer service. We left with zero intention of trying to use our gift cards again at this location. However, my husband decided since it had been months, maybe they were better. Actually, they are worse! I personally heard my husband make the reservation, letting the receptionist know we had gift cards and we would like to use them for the hour and half paid for time. All seemed fine. Then we both get a call, they need a credit card! So, my husband called again and let them know we are using our gift cards. The receptionist seemed confused and eventually all seemed a go. Day of the massage... both of us were under an hour. I asked the receptionist about this and she said said we had only been put in for an hour and she wasn't the one who did it, she is the one on our answering machine and whom we spoke with. :/ Said that also, they have a 10 min time they use of what YOU PAID for to consult and for you to undress. Now, they don't bother to tell you that upfront and the receptionist is the one who actually asked what kind we were going to want. Took what, 15 sec max! Anyway, the receptionist assured me someone, would be in contact with me in 24 hours. As they are under NEW MANAGEMENT and have been for about a month. Sadly, I sent a text replying to their wanting a good Yelp review and was told someone would respond to me within one hour. NO RESPONSE! Rip off! The service from the therapist was below par. We get a better "rub" from the chairs at the pedicure place. I'm attaching a photo of the conversation via text. So, you can all see. They don't hold true to their word. Take your money and time. Not to mention actually steal time from you for a service which you've paid for. read more

I love this place!! It's so inexpensive in comparison to Massage Envy. I was with massage envy for 6 months & I had to fight to get out of my contract. Here you can just cancel it an any time- no penalties. But it's so cheap & you can transfer to your spouse so there's really no reason to cancel! Everybody needs a good massage once a month. Especially if you work retail. ;) My massage therapist was the best EVER... And I've had a lot of massages. She listens to what level of pressure you want & uses hot towels. They also use almost the full 60 mins on massaging you! Maybe 55 or 50 if you are late or take a while taking off your clothes. Such a great place. From the moment I walked in I was taken care of. I made an appointment, and was greeted with a smile and, "Hi, are you Angela?" I have had three massages here. Two swedish and one hot stone. All three were amazing and I left feeling relaxed and pain free. Because of work I carry a big bag around with me and as a result I always have pain in my shoulders and neck, after each visit I can turn my neck pain free and feel great. Their prices are great too, and i love that the "extra fees" are reasonable. To upgrade a massage to hot stone is only $15.00 and each massage uses hot towels without charge! I honestly can't wait for my facial this Sunday! PS. I received my Swedish massage from Colby and she was great, and my hot stone from Maria and she was great too! read more

This was my first time ever getting any type of massage and it was AMAZING! This place was beyond my expectations. The staff is beyond friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is relaxing and calm. I had Shanta do my massage, which was a prenatal massage and she did an amazing job! And what I loved was that she was pregnant herself so it almost made me feel like she knew exactly what to get. She was beyond friendly and made sure to ask before what I wanted and continuously asked during the massage if I was okay and if the pressure was good. Been with MGS going on 7 years and had been frustrated when 2 of their locations closed and i now must drive to Corona. With staff shortages i've been unable to get an appointment that fits my schedule other than waiting 1-1 1/2 months. Spoke with Michelle today and she got me in and scheduled four more for me. She was extremely pleasant, efficient and polite. Very refreshing these days. I left feeling heard, cared for and relaxed. My therapist Mira was very good as well. Much of the doubt i had been experiencing regarding whether or not i should keep my membership was wonderfully handled. I enjoy the ambiance and therapists of MGS much more than Massage Envy which is 5 minutes from my house. Looking forward to the reopening of their Magnolia/Jurupa location. I got my first ever massage here recently and really enjoyed it. The massage therapist took my thoughts into consideration and I felt listened to. She checked in with me a few times to make sure the pressure was right. The room was quiet, dark, and had relaxing music playing. Although a bit more 'rough' than I imagined it would be, I can see how it might be necessary to really get your blood moving and improve circulation. I felt very comfortable that nothing was being exposed and that utmost care was being taken to make sure of it (of course I have no other massages to compare it to). However, two issues that concerned me was the temperature in the room and the front desk receptionist. I was freezing in the room and the times that the sheets were taken off of me I had goosebumps. It was not conducive to relaxation but I tried to look past it. Of course this may just be a personal thing. Each individual has their own preference for temperature. The front desk receptionist was not very pleasant and did not smile or show an interest in me at all. She sat me down and told me to fill out paperwork and showed me the bathroom. That was it. When I left, she did not acknowledge me or ask how it went (first time massage and first time at this place). In fact she was too busy talking to someone else to even notice I left. It is a good business practice to get feedback from first time (and repeat) customers to ensure they had a good experience and also to show the customer you care. Other than those two things I would return. You can't beat their prices. However, I do want to have a true "spa" massage first to see if I am missing anything. read more

I am sort of in the middle with this place. Today was my first time. I was trying to schedule a couples massage for me and my boyfriend at glen ivy but that was hopeless and that's how I found this place. Plan was to start of with massages here then spend the day at glen ivy. I booked a 90 min couples massage which they do require a card to hold and I have no problem with that. We showed up right on time and was walked to the room right away. My massage was okay but the areas I asked for were not really taken into consideration. I type and stand on my feet a lot and I told the lady those were my areas of concern including my shoulders but she only focused on the shoulder and barely spent any time on my hands and feet. I think she did too much on my shoulders they are kinda sore now. My boyfriend said it was just okay. I heard him several times asking for more pressure but he said he didn't get any. My massage was fine except for my areas not being focused on. I hate a routine and not focusing on the clients requests. *you don't really get to see your partner or talk during massage* Price wise it was great and I had a facial after that we cancelled cuz they could only take me and not my boo and we were running out of time for Glen. Time wise facial didn't workout and I asked if I could reschedule and initially was told I would have to pay anyway but the front desk girl went in the back and said it was okay to cancel so we appreciated that. Overall okay. Price great for 90 min compared to what we would have paid at Glen ivy. place is good just be specific of your needs!! read more

Can I just say how amazing the employees in this place are? So I called on a tuesday asking to do a facial for the same day. I asked if I can do it in about 2 hours and the person I talked to, Robin, was able to confirm this appointment. Gave a credit number to secure my appointment. This is standard for most spa places, so I went ahead and did that. I was about 10 minutes early to my appointment. Robin and another lovely lady was there to greet me at the front desk. At this time, they informed me that they were unable to get me an esthetician to do my facial, one was at the doctors, while the other was on leave. I thought that this was very disappointing. At first, I was a little peeved that they didn't call and tell me that they're having trouble finding an esthetician so I would not have to waste my time driving to the location. However, they did offer me a free facial instead, on a different day of course. This was absolutely incredible customer service for them on this part. I ask if I can opt for a massage instead since I was already there. They were more than helpful to do that for me. My therapist was, Shari, she was incredibly nice and very courteous. She does ask questions, and she was mindful about this when she was giving me the massage. She was incredibly professional, yet very warm and friendly. I wrote down that I was a student in the questionaire, and she actually focused most of her time on my back and neck where I feel I have the most sore muscles due to studying. Massage was great. Employees were great. The waiting room is very homey and comfortable. I wish the massage room itself was a little more decorated, but maybe simplicity is what they were going for. Left a big tip for Shari of course since I didn't want to just walk in there and get everything for free. We arrived early and just had to wait a few minutes before our masseuses came out to get us. They made sure to go over what we wanted out of the massage beforehand. Diana was SO good! I went in expecting a full body massage but she recommended sticking to my upper body since I wanted to focus on my back. I'm glad I took her advice! Perfect pressure, amazing massage, got all the knots out. Seriously girl, major kudos! I can't speak as much about Carla since she worked on my bf but he says her massage was on point!!! I like that with my monthly membership fee I get 1 free massage and 4 others can be on my account to get discounted massages at any time for free! I had gotten my mom a gift certificate months ago, that she had lost and didn't realize until right before our massages. I called before and they told me not to worry to come on in. Couples massage, so me and my boyfriend got a massage. I got Alejandra and he got Dianna. Let me start my saying I absolutely Loved it ! It was so relaxing and I am new to massages I have never gotten one done. But it was the perfect amount of pressure. They inform you about everything before and I loved that , you know what will happen and what to do. Since I was new to this I didn't want to look lost , they definitely don't make you feel lost. They ask you how much pressure you want, they tell you where to go. And what to do. Overall this was SUCH AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. I will definitely be back for Alejandra, they offer you tea in the waiting room. And water after. Also if they do want you to move a bit or have any questions they whisper and I really appreciated that, because if you either don't wait your other partner in the room to hear it's good. A nice price for a nice massage. We received a couples massage for the "introductory price" of about $65 which is a really great deal. I got a Swedish but it was more like a back rub... Still nice and relaxing! My husband enjoyed his too- he got the add on hot pack. They are a little too modest which sounds weird, I like my whole leg rubbed and it seemed like she was super cautious about how far the blanket went up. I went in with a sore back, and it was so rough I now have 3 big bruises on my back. I said it was painful, and she didn't even ask if pressure was ok. Ouch My facial was great with Donna. So I've been a member here for nearly 10 years! I can't believe it's been that long. My overall experience with this business has been very positive. There were a few minor blips during Covid, but they made it right. Which business didn't run into issues during Covid. The reason I decided to update my review is because I was on my way to get a 2 hour massage with my AMAZING masseuse Bianca and then I got a tire blow out on the 91 freeway... I called in and spoke with Jessica. I told her there's a chance I may not be able to make it for my appointment and asked if I would be charged. She said that if they can't fill the time, then yes, as the masseuse is present and would still need to be paid (understandable). She offered to call around to see if she could fill the time slot at the last minute. She called me 10 minutes later and was able to fill it with less than 20 minutes to the start of my appointment. I was shocked and very grateful. In an age where it seems like most employees don't care about others or don't want to go through a lot of trouble, Jessica went above and beyond. I'm looking forward to continuing to be a patron here for many more years, even though it's a 45 minute drive for me. Few constructive suggestions to ownership: carpets can be steam cleaned more often, paint on walls can be touched up some and the bathroom needs some fixtures to be tightened up. I was supposed to have a 90 minute full body deep tissue massage. Ended up being an hour and 10 minutes. Massage was mediocre, not enough pressure was applied, therapist didn't massage front of body at all. Therapist was very kind and sweet however. I had made an appointment a week in advance, went in for appointment the day of, and they said they had no record of me at all. So they gave me a 30 minute complementary massage on them if I came in today (3 days later). But like I said, massage was only 70 minutes. To top it off, I stepped on a thorn that went right through my toe as soon as I got off the table. read more

This place is a gamble. If you know a good therapist and can book in advance as the good ones are usually booked. I have been seeing the same therapist for a few months and she was great. She was recently booked so I saw Alma instead for 90 minutes. I am a massage therapist as well and asked for some more attention on the arms. I arrived to my session 10 minutes early and was told my therapist was running late. It I was assured I would have my full time. The therapist frantically showed up 10 minutes late called the wrong name out( she meant me) totally unprepared and ungrounded I tell her I have been a therapist for 10 years. She tells me she hates this work after just two and how boring it is. This is before we start and I already know I will get awful bodywork. If you do not love this work you should not do it I swear I have had better bodywork at the Asian foot massage places than this. I cannot believe she is a trained therapist. She started immediately doing deep tissue on my sore arms. Grinding in with her thumbs and elbows. I asked her for less pressure and she says oh you must like it light. No I don't like it light but I do know you cannot do deep tissue on muscles that have not been warmed up. This results in painful massage followed by bruising. Clearly she didn't know what she was doing. The only two levels she knew was pain or such light strokes it couldn't even pass for warming the muscle. There is plenty more I can remark on but this continued for the entire session. Almost and hour spent on my arms and everything else grazed over as she had no time for the rest of the body. That was not my request. Especially considering no actual good work was done on my arms. I left more sore than when I arrived The massage ended and I looked at the clock and sure enough I was shorted 10 minutes. So I arrive early, wait 10 minutes beyond my appointment time, am promised the full time that I paid for, and then given a horrible massage that isn't even the full 90 minutes? I always tip exceptionally. I leave over 20 bucks every time with my regular therapist here. I walked out and left her nothing. I have never done that before in my life but I can't believe I paid anything for that. Three days later everything hurts so much more than when I came in due to her lack of knowledge and or care about being a bodyworker. You cannot hate this job and do a good job. If helping people feel better is not something you want to do and instead want to waste their valuable time and money with sub par work, you will not make it. This is not a business where you can fake it until you make it. read more

***Buyer Beware***I am very disappointed in this place. I had a membership for about a year and cancelled it due to not having time to go, payed 60 a month for it. I had 4 massages sitting there and just went to use them (massages I already payed for) and I was told since I already cancelled my membership, I could not use my credits. This was something I WAS NOT told about when I cancelled or I would have used them. I am very upset about this. Why would I just hand you over 200 dollars if i couldn't use my massages?
