I purchased the promotional massage package at a discounted rate a while back and because I have a busy work schedule in and out of town, I finally found time to utilize this for myself. I went in to find out that nothing I paid for was honored, not even the equivalent of what a 30-60 minute massage would be provided. My time had expired they said. So, basically, I gave a generous donation to the entity for not meeting "their" timeframe of expiration that "my money" paid for. I was down for 3 weeks my legs would buckle I had to use crutches to move in house & walk dog really short walks, my legs couldn't be trusted. It was my lucky day choosing Massage Heights at gulf coast. I got Elizabeth for my deep tissue massage. This was my favorite place, but over the years, I have witnessed this location go downhill. The owners struggle to keep good staff. I've had so many different therapists that the only one who stays and deals with the poor treatment is Myra. I've had Adonis, George, Julian, Brendan, Shari, etc. There is a fundamental disconnect between management/owners and staff. Most recently, I noticed my account (I have been a member since 2021 or longer) was being charged 2 credits for 90-minute sessions (should be 1.5). I asked the front desk rep (lexi) to call the manager. No call ever came. I then called again to follow up, and still nothing. Four months later, and still no call, but there's a new manager again. Additionally, the products in the lobby are never refreshed. It's been the same hand lotion for 2 years. The Dermalogica products have been sitting there for over a year, and they are not the same products the estheticians use during service. I asked the front desk rep why the elevations are free, but the microderm elevation has a cost, and no one could answer. They went from providing small water bottles to a nasty water jug that sits in the lobby all day with warm water. I am just overall disappointed in the service and establishment. I don't mind a price increase, but this is ridiculous. read more

Message Paid for a 60 minute massage. Arrived at 10:50 for 11 am appointment. Sign on door said "closed." About to leave, someone opened door and reversed sign. Was taken into massage room at 11:08 after almost being hit by door from therapist going in front of me and not holding door. Therapist had to lower table as I am short, then left me to undress and get on table. Massage started at 11:17. I was told it was finished at 11:47. WHAT A RIPOFF!!! When I questioned why I didn't get the 60 minute massage I paid for, I was informed 60 minutes included changing time and time on and off the table. So this was a wonderful and pleasant surprise. I was in town to deliver my daughter to school. We were moving heavy boxes and and basically wore ourselves out trying to make everything perfect as school starts this upcoming Monday. I came upon Massage Heights and felt so fortunate. Here is my review The professionalism of the staff was perfect The cleanliness of the entire office, bathroom , massage rooms, waiting area, were immaculate. The products used for the massage, I had 90 minutes with aromatherapy and pina colada , yes you heard right, foot scrub were just perfectly therapeutic. And now, the masseuse George. As a person who Rachel routinely gets massages I can tell you that he's pretty much a 10 out of 10. He listen to everything I asked for and did exactly what I needed and somehow a new one too massage a little stronger and pulled back when he needed to. I've got to say.. I have never experienced a massage so great. In the past, I had gotten about 5 massages total and none were a "wow" experience. Either I left feeling beat up or because I'm so ticklish, I could not enjoy it. After telling Jorge all this and that I was there because of high stress at work, you could tell he tailored my to meet my needs. Not only was the massage fantastic, relaxing, checked off all the boxes, the conversation was great, too! I didn't even think you were supposed to talk during a massage. Felt like the shortest 1 hour massage I've had. The therapist moved rather quickly, and at one point I thought he was trying to keep up with the other therapist working on my fiance. I like deeper pressure, but this therapist was including his nails into the massage. I woke up with swollen parts to my shoulders this morning. I've had quite a few massages and never had a similar experience. Despite the less than enjoyable massage, the staff are really nice and the facility is as well. I walked in for a facial was a little disappointed. Felt like it was one of those student places. But Karen at the desk was determined to make it right she asked me to return and scheduled an appointment. I returned in two weeks and I had Natasha I was very very pleased I received the most amazing facial. It was relaxing it was done properly. I will definitely return for another. I purchased a few products The linen spray lavender smell for my bedsheets Amazing! Also two different facial wipes. The reason I gave it three stars is I feel that the facial could've been a little more aggressive besides just all of the wiping of the products on the face Natasha was very proficient with what she did. I've had a lot of facials and massages and my experience was just average. They charged $22 for eyebrow dye and $19 eyebrow wax... $19!!!!! I pay $8 in Maryland. Be very specific about the kind of massage you want. I wanted deep tissue and didn't use those exact words so I gotta body repair massage, which I could do without. I specifically told them I'm wanted the knots out of my back, which is deep tissue. He kept saying no worries, but he didn't do anything to get the knots out. It's my fault for not being more specific, though I felt I had been. Average. Place was clean and staff was nice enough. They never asked me how it was, so I never had the opportunity to tell to ask what kind of massage you want ahead of time. read more

I was only in town for 1 night for work, I'd been having trouble sleeping so I decided to go get a massage. It'd been my first but I figured I deserved to treat myself, they have a great introductory rate and trust me if was worth it. Not only did the salon smell amazing but everything was clean and very accessible. I had Colette and let me tell you she was very helpful by explaining the procedure when I decided to have my Swedish changed to a deep tissue. I'd heard people complain about having a deep tissue massage before but my body needed some tough love and I have a very high tolerance. The massage was very relaxing it put my body at ease and relaxed my mind. I literally felt like jello afterward, almost like I was walking on a cloud. Colette advised me that I should stretch and drink plenty of water which I did and I know a lot of people think the detoxification that happens after a deep tissue massage is a myth but let me tell you that I woke up the this morning with my skin still very supple and my face much more clear than it had been yesterday, not only did I sleep well last night but I missed two flights home because I slept so wonderfully. I would recommend them to anyone and I'm definitely getting a massage next month. My body feels Amazing! TiP: I strongly recommend you stretch more than once after the massage to relax your muscles further and avoid tightening back up or post massage pain. Con: the massage was only 30 minutes even though I paid for an hour, which I did express to the front desk. However, they did such a great job I'm not complaining just giving you a heads up. This was the first time I have ever gotten a massage and I really don't think I could have picked a better place. The staff welcomed me as soon as I walked in the door and got me set up and gave me an ice cold water bottle. I was shown different scents for the aroma during my massage, each had a different name such as breathe or relax. I was introduced to the therapist and was taken back right away to a very clean, pleasant, and up-to-date room, more than you would expect at a Ritz Carlton. The lights were dimmed very low and there was low background music playing small waves breaking on shore and other peaceful and soothing sounds. The therapist was extremely accommodating for my needs. I was dealing with a lot of stress and tension so she worked and focused on the areas that needed most attention and checked in with me to see if the pressure was too much or too little. By the end of the massage I felt like I whole new person. I highly recommend this place and will be returning each month. read more

First off, the place is beautiful inside, very classy looking, self rising heated tables, silk sheets, hot stones, you can tell they went all out. And that's about where it stops. My girlfriend and I waltzed in and were seen immediately, which tells me no one else was there that Saturday, and had a couples massage with Gary and some Filipino girl, I forget her name, something with a Y I think; but, a very uncomfortable massage front to back. They both spent the first few minutes spraying us with the 'aroma-therapies' that neither of us wanted and the room was very powerful smelling for the first 20 minutes. I had the girl who kept pushing for the hot stones claiming it was free so I took it, and aside from digging in my back with her elbow and SHUSHING me when I asked her to stop, you would think she'd never done a massage before in her life. I have bruises on my back from her still. You start face down and flip over, she touched my feet THEN my FACE and it made me feel very uncomfortable. My partner had Gary, who she said gave her a good massage, was very Very chatty and kept insisting he work on her 'glutes' which meant playing the bongos on her naked butt and laughing about it, then he kept making comments about winning like a grammy for music I think but it made me very uncomfortable watching that. Afterwards they cornered us in the room and tried to sell us on a laundry list of expensive items we had no interest in buying. They went over the hour, which I wasn't complaining until the 17 year old behind front desk tried to charge me for it, I know her age because she mentioned it a few times. Then the bill came. They apparently have a special going where if you sign up your first massage is only 50 bucks, but after that its a years contract starting at 70 a month with a 50 dollar 'activation fee' everyone else Including their brochures failed to mention. She mentioned what we got was the high end treatments for preferred clients which I rolled my eyes at, and as soon as we said we'd have to think about it her tone immediately changed and she went straight to the bill, which if we would have bought everything they wanted us to, including an 80 back pillow, our bill would have easily cleared 400 dollars. I think their target clientele is the higher end folks from maybe Naples or Bonita, so my advice is to save it for them because aside from the hot stones and fancy tables, they really don't have much else going for them. read more
