Yes, yes, yes!!! Massage Heights is an all around five stars. Right from your first step in the door, you're treated like royalty. The customer service is outstanding, always making sure you have what you need to be comfortable. The massage therapists are incredibly hands on (see what I did there), checking in throughout your massage making sure that the pressure is right, the aromatherapy is keeping you zen and you're fully relaxed during the entire massage. At the end of your session, the massage therapists offer up suggestions to keep you loose, tension free and even give you an idea of what you can do next to work out that tough knot in your shoulder or stretch out that tight hamstring. Heads up, they do try to sell you a membership before you head out the door. The plus side is that they aren't super pushy. They listen to your needs and your budget in order to offer a package that suites you. I didn't end up with a membership but would go back in a heartbeat! read more

My husband and I had an excellent experience here today - from the customer service to the massages. Upon entering, we were greeted by multiple friendly employees and walked through the whole process. We filled out paperwork about our preferences for the massages, focus areas, and medical information. We met our massage therapists and were led back to the room for our couples' massage. He received a Swedish massage and I received a prenatal massage. We both really enjoyed our massages and I was personally and pleasantly surprised by how relaxing it was without laying on my stomach. Afterward, we went back to the front where we paid and signed up for a membership. I've read other reviews that commented on the membership process and I understand why people might feel like this is an uncomfortable part of the visit but I personally felt like it was helpful for us to hear about our options. It was helpful to hear about the benefits of membership and the offers available. It was really affordable, at $100 for the both of us - plus a tip. Our experience was wonderful, and we are already looking forward to coming back next month - and every month after for (at least) the next year! read more

Mediocre massage, I've had countless bad experiences. I've shown up to appointments that the therapist left. I've had rushed massages, been shorted out of my time. I pay a monthly subscription which I don't use every month, because of my busy schedule. I called to reschedule because there is a snowstorm going on, and was told I'm going to be charged $35 even though it wasn't a cancellation. I was told when they called to confirm yesterday was them giving me the option to cancel. They said they called everyone because of the weather. They didn't say anything about staying open during a snow storm. The streets are horrible, example my kids schools were set to stay open but schools got canceled. I'm just tired for paying for a subscription I only use half the year, and have asked to cancel it many times. read more

Always had good experiences here with the staff and personnel. I'm sure to always get my full 60 minutes and the therapists are great at listening to you. The parking lot concern is warranted, I've been late to appointments before from unfortunately strolling around the parking lot or parking in another complex and making the hike over. That being said they are very understanding and still give you your time. 10/10 would recommend this place not only for massages, but also facials. I usually visit the Carmel location to get massages (shoutout to the Scott) but this time I felt like I needed a facial as my skin needed HELP. It's really easy to set an appointment and I was able to get my first request for day/time. My facial was with Makayla, and she did wonders on my skin. I am GLOWING which I've never had after a facial before (normally my skin is red or you can see all the scans from extractions). She customized my facial to exactly what I needed and walked me through the process of what she was going to do. At the end she recommended products for my skin and even supplements to help me with my hormonal acne. I recently visited Indianapolis with my Sorors for our Founders' Day Centennial weekend. We stayed at a neighboring hotel and decided to book a much-needed massage. First, let me express how fantastic the customer service is at this location, from booking to check-out. Shout out to Kaylee and Karoh!! They were very welcoming during the booking and upon arrival. During checkout, they provided insight into their products, and I purchased a couple of them because of the benefits. They were very knowledgeable about their products. Now let's talk about the massage experience! Shout out to Kait and David. They are both amazing massage therapists that are skilled in their craft. They offered me and my Soror insight into better practices to improve our body wellness. Kait's techniques significantly reduced the severe tightness in my back and shoulders as prior it was like a back of rocks. It was THE BEST massage ever! I tried out Massage Heights during their opening specials. The staff was very friendly. It's a little bare bones, like you just wait right inside the door until your therapist is ready; there is no additional changing space or quiet room. I thought the free "aromatherapy" smelled a bit like cleaning products. Overall, I thought the massage very nice and I would definitely go again for another special. Massage Heights is a membership chain, so I knew there would be a push to sign up for a monthly massage. I did get the full explanation of benefits and an offer to sign-up, but it wasn't overly pushy. A membership is about $60 a month, which isn't too bad, plus you can use your HSA and other plans to pay. I definitely didn't think it was worth the non-discount or membership price of $100 for 50 minutes, but I appreciate the more affordable options. read more

My sessions at Massage Heights Ironworks never disappoint. The reception staff are kind and welcoming. I schedule primarily with Mitch and know that I'm getting treated professionally. Due to chronic illnesses and chronic pain, I get massages as a treatment rather than for a relaxing break. Mitch takes more of a physical therapy approach and helps target areas to reduce my pain and inflammation. Mitch is a level 2 therapist which has an additional fee, but for the services he provides, it's completely worth it. I've also received cupping during my sessions which I highly recommend for anyone dealing with chronic pain. read more

Massage heights is a great addition to the ironworks area! I went during one of their specials and received a 1 hour aromatherapy massage. Their facilities are very clean & they set the atmosphere with great customer service as soon as you walk in. I felt incredibly comfortable with the staff and really appreciated the level of professionalism. The massage was wonderful! Very thorough and relaxing. My only complaint is that it really wasn't a full hour because they give you 5 minutes before to get undressed and 10 minutes after to get dressed and have a post massage consultation. I'd suggest not include those moments in the "massage hour". Another positive is they sell all the products they use during massages in the store so if there is a product you really liked, u can take it home with you! Give this place a try. read more

The front room was very inviting and calm. Very friendly staff. I appreciated the digital question form rather than paper. The girls at the front were welcoming as well. I would change 2 things. First, please make your 1 hour massages actually 60 minutes;not 50. There is no need to end the massage 10 minutes since I am billed for 1 hour of hands on massage time. If so, you should state your massages are only 50 minutes long, not 1 hour. Next, once the massage is over and you are checking out, please do not push the memberships. It feels too much like a sales pitch and while I understand the benefit of the membership, if I wanted to purchase a membership I would have stated so. It takes away from the relaxing experience. From the ambience, to the massage, to the aromatherapy,and everything in between, I was completely put at ease and felt completely relaxed. I learned of this location via an event at Books and Brews and was able to schedule an appointment on site for a promotional rate. I received an email reminder and a text reminder to confirm the appointment. I showed up early to fill out my information via IPad and was helped by a lifestyle consultant who then gave me a tour of the facility. My massage therapist came out and greeted me and asked me what my issues were and let me choose my aromatherapy scent. I went with eucalyptus. Some of them were a bit stringent smelling for me. The head of the massage table raises which I thought was a nice touch. He worked to release my worst tension spots and made suggestions for self care and even did some good stretches as well. They do want to tell you about the membership after and the prices are similar to other massage locations. You can also get facials here. It is bright as all get out when you leave the back room area into the entrance of around 3 pm so beware!! This is a nice addition to Ironworks and I'm sure it will do well. read more

I visited Massage Heights as part of a Yelp Elite event. I expected to have a good experience, but I didn't anticipate having such a good experience that I would convert to make this my go-to destination for regular massages. I have had many massages in the past, and I have a favorite hands-on healer, but her weekday only schedule is difficult for me. Everyone at MH was super friendly. Due to unexpected circumstances at the Yelp event, I was offered a complimentary 30 minute massage to return at a different time. I decided to pay to extend from 30 to 90 minutes and add complimentary hot stones & aromatherapy. So glad I did. Jason was my massage therapist. He was a great communicator. He asked several questions to understand my needs, expectations, and boundaries. From the get go, I felt very comfortable. He created a quiet, soothing, therapeutic environment all while speaking up when necessary to affirm that pressure, movement, heat, and positioning were all comfortable to me. There are so many choices during a massage that people probably don't consider before going in. This ongoing communication is really great to help with that. I was given a choice among 4 different aromatherapy scents, and I was asked to let him know if the heated table felt too warm, or if the rocks were too hot, or if the pressure or movements were too strenuous. Everything was perfect. At the end, Jamie also gave me a "homework" sheet, showing areas where my body could use extra care - like in my right shoulder and lower back. He provided stretches I can do at home, and suggested I drink plenty of water. This review is about what happened when my pre-paid coupon / gift certificate expired and they refused to help in any way. My college-age daughter purchased a Groupon to Massage Heights for me and unfortunately I lost it and could not remember where it was from to call them and I was afraid to hurt daughter's feelings that it was misplaced. My bad certainly. It fell between my desk and the wall and I only found it after it expired. So I phoned Massage Heights thinking at the time, "this shouldn't be a problem because they have my daughters money so why wouldn't they honor a massage service?". Boy was I wrong. When I phoned and explained the situation, I was met with a bored attitude on the phone and was told simply no "there was nothing they could do. Sorry." I even asked to speak to a manager who turned me away with zero compassion or help. I was extremely disappointed, as my daughter has been there several times and spent a fair amount of money. The fact that this merchant received their money but would not honor a massage was surprising and upsetting. Needless to say I DO NOT recommend Massage Heights and will never go there in the future. I have had several different therapists in the past few years and he was by far been my favorite. I love coming in on a Sunday after I have finished my shopping for the week. Each time I come in I leave feeling calm and refreshed. I appreciate that no one pushes product or tries to get you to come more often. I see Jennifer and she is my favorite. She really listens to your problem areas and focuses on them. The massage was OK but a bit pricey at $150 for 90 min. However they have a hidebound rule that the masseuse MUST use not only the normal sheet but also a lightweight coverlet. Kinnedy was so helpful and got me a same-day appointment. Gari, my massage therapist was excellent. He was very understanding of the pain I was in, patient and kind, but was not afraid to really work my muscles to relieve some tension, help me stretch and reduce my pain. I had a groupon for "60 min massage with choice of elevation" to use, so I decided to check out Massage Heights instead of going to my regular massage place. It's nice, clean, and modern. People are friendly, and I have no complaints about the message. It was hard to find parking, as I had to wait for someone to leave before I could park, which is obviously not a big deal. I still got there at 18:45 (15 min before the massage time to fill out the paperwork, as instructed) after driving from downtown Indy. I had to wait until 19:15 to get the actual massage started, which to my surprise ended at 19:55, so 40 min of massage time. When I was making a reservation, I was asked what massage elevation I want to choose, so I chose a foot scrub, which is all great and exciting. I thought that maybe 20 extra min are going to be used for this massage elevation, but no. The elevation was just forgotten, I was told that I will get refunded, but I obviously had a groupon. So I asked about the length of my "60 min massage with choice of elevation" that became "40 min massage without choice of elevation" at the checkout, but was told that the first time message is 50 min...which was actually 40 min max in my case. When I was still in a pleasant post-massage cloud and trying to figure out what happened with my timing/elevation situation, I was politely but insistently asked about scheduling a next appointment now, getting a membership now, choosing a time of membership now, and doing everything to get the best deal ever now (or it's too late?), which is (I get it) is part of the spiel but may sound a bit too pushy in some situations. None of these is obviously catastrophic or awful by any means, I got a massage after all, but did leave a bitter taste in my mouth. read more
