On Jan 18, Massage Heights confirmed in writing that my membership was canceled and that no further charges would be processed. Despite that confirmation, $79.99 was charged to my account on Jan 19. Some of the massage therapists are good. There is a front desk girl who is AMAZING! BUT if you want to cancel or change an appointment or you need to deal with the manager RUN! I manage multiple locations of a fitness brand so asking the staff to provide you with the email of manager is pretty straightforward, easy and protocol typically. Here they act like it's an inconvenience!! It's actually wild. Once I finally got ahold of her, The manager Karrie was snappy from the first moment I called. She should NOT be in customer service. She also asked my phone number and I told her it changed then told me she was texting my OLD number her email address. And got annoyed when I was confused why she's texting an old number I can't use...Honestly it was weird. Why can't you just tell me your email address. She's the least friendly person I've ever spoken to. read more

If someone buys you a gift card you should tell that person they cannot use it to tip! A family member was kind enough to get me a massage- & even included enough to tip as to not put any financial burden on me - you know, like a true gift! Only to find out at the end when paying that I cannot use it for that. Now, even tho the massage was okay (except the part where he was exhaling right on my face- causing me to be sick the next 4 days following the massage) I would never not tip. I've had massage services at over a dozen locations in the last 6 years ranging from high end spas to small reflexology centers. I'd say this establishment is low to mid range. My deep tissue massage was not super great and the front desk staff was not very friendly. I felt pressured to sign up for a membership directly after my massage. Facilities were clean but they could use an upgrade on their pillows and linens, a simple eye pillow would also go along way. I'll be going back to the local Burke Williams for a membership again where it is $30 more a month for a membership but the amenities and amazing staff are worth it. read more

I have been a member here paying $80/month, but I will never step foot in this building again. I called to simply change an appointment time and was hung up on. When I called back, I was treated rudely and told I'd be called back. When the "Manager/Owner" Karee finally called, she was incredibly angry and acted as if my call was a massive inconvenience. When I requested a refund due to her unprofessionalism, she showed zero concern for my experience as a loyal client, demanded to cancel my appointment and my membership. As a business owner, she should be embarrassed. If you're looking for relaxation, you won't find it here. Save your money and go somewhere where the staff actually values their members. Karee actually called me back 45 minutes later to apologize, telling me I'm a "valued customer" and that this was a "huge wake-up call" for her. While I appreciate the admission of guilt, the damage is done. I am still shaken up by how I was initially treated. Unfortunately, I surprised my husband with her and it was a huge disappointment. She was not friendly from The beginning telling him we were pressed for time when we arrived 20 mins early. Your business is nothing but a con. you get people as they come out of their massage to listen to your membership schtick then when you go to cancel it NEVER happens. DO NOT sign up for the "membership", trust me (read my reviews) you will NEVER get what they say they are going to do, and you can NEVER get ahold of anybody that gives .02 cents about you or the affect an experience could have on their business. I am absolutely waiting for their doors to close and then I am stuck with 900.00 worth of unusable gift cards. they have tried charging my card 4 times already this month (after being told numerous times it was still getting cancelled). this membership is nothing but cashflow through the doors to them to keep them afloat. By the way, my therapist did a better than nominal job, but the business is going to fold under their feet, there would be no other reason for them to continue holding on to these membership scams... they are waiting for you to quit trying first and keep their revenue stream intact. It was going to be my 1st time going to this location when I ran into car trouble (my engine broke down) and I called them and notified them of this emergency situation and they said "you can still attempt to come in for the remainder of your massage time". I had no means of transportation and in order to make it to the remainder of my massage time (probably 20-30mins left) I would have to pay for uber on top of that and leave my car in the street. I explained the situation to them and even asked if the manager could make an exception and allow me to reschedule but it was a very quick no (later found out the manager was not even notified- according to the manager herself) and got charged for the entire session. Today I called the manager to see if there's a chance of rescheduling after couple weeks and I told her I even have the paperwork from the dealership and she said we don't care if your car got broken down or even if your dog died (yeah, she said that) we still charge everyone regardless while being so proud of herself and the way they do business. She was an embarrassing representation of a business and the entire team who works there. read more

I love the massages at Massage Heights. The only problem is that it is almost impossible to get appointments here since COVID. Also there is a lot of turnover, so as soon as you find the therapist you really like, they are usually gone within 6 months to a year. I still have my membership because, as far as membership massage places go, this is by far and away so much better. They have a lot of experienced massage therapists. Massage Envy, to me, was not worth the money because they use inexperienced therapists and it does not have that spa feeling like Massage Heights. The other thing I dislike about this place is that you can only go to the one location now. You used to be able to go to any location, but not anymore. I do miss the spa water they used to have but you still can't beat the ambiance at this place compared to the competitors. read more

Very easy to join. Very difficult to cancel your membership. Check your monthly credit card statements if you join. Sadly typical that you can sign up at the point of service but when you try to cancel you are told it has to be done by email and to someone who doesn't acknowledge receiving any emails you send. I have been a member for years. There used to be really good therapists here but they've all left. The last several massages I've had were terrible!!! When talking with the manager about being unhappy she recommended a few therapists but they book up 3 months in advance. There is no way to get in with them. Most recently I had a massage booked but had something come up last minute with work that was unavoidable. I called at 9pm (after hours I know) but left a message saying I could not make the appointment. But received a message that I missed my appointment. They do not accept messages left to cancel appointments, which is bullshit!!! So I was charged for the appointment. I will be canceling my membership!!! Do not sign up here, not worth it. read more

Therapist (Evie) slowly started so I'm sure it's about 5-7 minutes consumed without the service. Asked me about my focus area and I mentioned it, but I did not feel that the areas I mentioned were targeted at all. Throughout the session, when I'm feeling relaxed and slowly almost falling asleep, I can feel the slow down and softness of the service being provided almost as if it was her chance ease out on her massages and it was waking me up because I will literally feel the almost stoppage of the massage. She ended up finishing up about 6 mins earlier. I put on clothes and took a photo of the time when therapist left saying she's done but it wasn't even at the top fo the hour. What a rip off. I was gonna be a member and bring my wife too even, but this changed my mind. read more
