My experience Is I received a gift card in which was paid in cash; they not only said it had already been used by a person I have never heard of, but also, refused to help me any further even though I have the physical card and everything in hand? Do not trust Chyanne or any front desk management like Anena. Scammers - trash customer service!!!! We arrived early for paperwork and everyone was polite but we were unfortunately forced to wait 10-15 minutes for our therapists to arrive as they were late. This shortened our massage time by about 10 minutes shy of the 60 minutes we paid for. Added foot scrub and cbd treatment. To be honest it just seems very corporate and not much metaphysical/relaxing. (Gift card paid for 2 massages). We were comp'd the add ons, but most likely won't return. read more

My fiancé and I had been looking for a new place to get our couples massages after our favorite place closed and we saw that Massage Heights had decent reviews and did couples massage sessions. Our appointment was on March 3rd and to say we walked away disappointed was an understatement. Our session was booked 2 weeks ahead and was set for 5:00pm March 3rd and we were told to show up about 15 minutes prior so that we could fill out paperwork. We arrived at around 4:40pm and the paperwork was filled out in less then 10 minutes. And then we waited. 5:00pm came by and passed and we noticed as other people went in before us and got whatever they came for. Granted, they were probably regulars or had pre-existing appointments, but we were sitting right in front of the front desk the entire time and nothing was said to us. Finally, at about 5:15pm, our two massage therapists came and brought us back. We went over what we wanted done as it was our first time at this place and with these therapists, this probably took about 5 minutes, and that's fine because it's to be expected that some time is taken to go over what we wanted. The massage itself was okay, it felt very rushed and not very focused on the parts of my body that I talked with the therapist about beforehand. When they told us our massage was over I was shocked to look at the clock and see that the time was 6:00pm. We paid for an hour long massage and AT MOST got maybe 40 mins, which explains why everything was so rushed. I did not immediately write this review because I know that sometimes things just happen and I thought that maybe we could make this right by reaching out to someone. First off, we got a text after our massage asking how it was, and when we told them about how we felt we didn't get the right amount of time, our text response went...ignored. So, I went onto Google reviews and found an email attached to a different bad review, that pointed me in the direction of Scott or Barb Anderson at lenexacitycenter@massageheights.com. My fiancé and I sent an email here regarding our experience and we got an email back within 2 days promising that they would make it right and would like us to try another massage for free and to simply respond so that they can set us up for another time. We responded and asked about rebooking and since then it has been radio silence. My fiancé has followed up with 3 more emails to that email address and we have received nothing. EDIT: My fiancé also left a review and they commented and told her to call a phone number. That phone number goes straight to voicemail. I'm a fan of this Massage Heights location! I've had 2 excellent massages by Robert and wish I could go back more often. My husband had a massage with Crystal last week and appreciated her sports medicine background. He has some health issues and told me that after his massage, it was the first time in months he was without pain. The only constructive feedback I have to share is that it would be helpful if the pricing could be communicated more clearly in advance, especially for those of us who can't afford to do this all the time (yay, helping professions). I was told on the phone our couple's massage would be $100, but when it came time to pay it was double that amount, plus some additional cost for hot stones which we were not told would be extra. Regardless, it's still a great location so I'm happy to refer people there. read more

Had one of the worst massages. Visited this place of business and was first told they do not accept cash??? Once I explained that I had the exact amount it was then ok. I was scheduled for a firm / deep tissue massage. This was verified 2 different times. The massage begins and it was very soft. I ask the therapist if she can go deeper and she says that she is unable to. At the conclusion of the massage I ask for a manager and of course one is unavailable. I was told "Ron" would be in contact with me. 2 days go by and still do not hear from "Ron." I call and they state someone will call me back. I receive a call from a "lead" but not a manager stating that they are unable to help. I ask if "Ron" can call and this person tells me a message will be given to return my call. It is now a week and still no phone call back. I would highly suggest that if you want a good massage and integrity to not visit this location and look into Zen Massage off Metcalf Rd. I will be calling Massage Heights corporate in the next week. read more

My massage therapist moved out of town, so been on the hunt for a new one. I try to get a massage once a month. Had stayed away from the chain massage shops, but was hooked on the $59 intro massage deal Massage Heights had, and proximity to my house. Karrie was my therapist, and was wonderful. Very personable, and found my "spots" right away, without me having to say anything. Pressure was good, I had asked for deep tissue. They had a free "elevation" - add on - with Yelp too, so I did the foot scrub. Got static about getting this for free, even though I showed the receptionist the offer on Yelp, so beware on this. My husband surprised me with a 1 hr prenatal massage and I had a very relaxing time. The waiting area is clean, modern, smells nice - very 'spa like'. The front desk is friendly and will get you checked in quickly. My masseuse was a younger woman who seemed a little timid when chatting with me, but we talked about where my aches and pains were and she walked me through a prenatal massage. I was pleased to find that they lay you on your side and have you turn midway through (the idea of the massage bed with the hole in it for your belly freaks me out a little). She gave a great massage - focusing mostly on the parts of me that hurt (back, shoulders). My only complaint is that the arm and the leg portions didn't seem to get as much attention, maybe 2-ish minutes each? I mean, yes, I did love the extra attention that my back needed, but I could've totally dedicated ~20 total minutes of attention to my limbs. All in all, I would definitely come back in for a massage and I'd recommend Massage Heights if you're looking for a nice relaxing afternoon. read more

I called and scheduled it and the person on the phone said that location offered the package. But when I got to my appointment they claimed they didn't offer the package - despite the flier being in the waiting room - and scheduled me for something different. Who seemed to be the manager acted as if he was doing me a favor by bundling a different package which was more expensive than what I originally scheduled. Very good experience overall, I just wish that the free "elevation" offered to new customers was in addition to the 60 minute massage rather than detracting time from it. While the foot scrub was nice, it took 10 or more minutes away from the actual massage and IMO it would be better to get a full pedicure elsewhere and enjoy the full 60 minute massage here. read more

They have a reduced first time rate. I would have bought a package if I'd lived in the area or knew I'd definitely be traveling there a lot. I received a massage as a gift from my boyfriend. The lady that works the front desk is friendly and helpful. I can not say the same thing about my massage therapist. I left feeling more tense than I did when I arrived. I don't know if it was her technique or if she was just uncomfortable with me (African American) there was just a lot of push and hold, there was really no massaging at all. I am a person that is familiar with massages, maybe she thought it was my first one and I didn't know what I should be receiving. The massage also felt very dry because she didn't use enough oil and that also made it uncomfortable. Maybe she was new, I am really not sure but is definitely not the type of massage I would want to receive again. I was also suppose to receive a 60 minute massage and plus a foot scrub, which should be separate she included the foot scrub in my 60 minute massage. I did not complain especially since I wasn't enjoying the massage anyways. I did leave a tip just because I just don't have it in me not to. I can't say I would not recommend Massage Heights but I definitely wouldn't recommend Hannah. I gave two stars because the receptionist is nice. read more

LIZ IS THE BEST!! I came here after my home location was booked when I needed to get in. This location is actually more convenient when I'm coming home from work. So they set me up with Liz and it was all great stuff from there. Liz is INTELLIGENT. She knows a lot about the body and could tell when my joints were not right. She took very special care to ask me if I had any pain whenever she was analyzing my joint mobility. I have had such tense shoulders that I was uncomfortable sleeping. She killed the knots I. My back and shoulder blades and I immediately felt relief. I've felt so so after the last few massages with therapists at my home location so I am very happy to say that I have found MY therapist of choice in Liz! I am so glad I ended up at the Metcalf location. Request Liz, seriously, you will not be disappointed. read more

On a work trip I had some unbearable lower back pain I could not resolve so after suffering about a week I found this place on Yelp. It has an exceedingly pleasant lobby/waiting area. This is one of those places where they have a first time visitor deal and try to sell you on a monthly program-- so be aware, but it was not high pressure. As for the massage, I wanted deep tissue and Shawn was suggested as one of the stronger therapists. I met him and explained some of my issues, he listened and ask some other questions, then he got to work on every spot. I asked for hard if it helped and yet he went to the edge of what may be called pain but I experienced amazing relief during, after, and now two days out without any soreness. I went to Whole Foods after and purchased some powdered magnesium to drink with a lot of water which I believes helps. My back pain is gone! This is the first 90 minute massage I've had and it's so much better than 60--you have time to really relax and enjoy the therapy. read more

Ron, who generally has greeted me and helped me over the phone has been great. He genuinely was interested in making sure my needs were met. My first massage was good and it's difficult for me to say great the first time I visit a massage therapist (MT) because I suffer from very tight IT bands and it really does take good technique to work them out. It takes me a time or two to communicate with the MT effectively so they know what works. However, Ron then scheduled me with Tristan and no explanation was needed. This may sound cheesy to some but if you've experienced great massages then you'll understand. He's very patient and with patience comes commitment to the full movement and attention to the muscle. I could feel how much he was concentrating on working out the muscle. His concentration caused me to concentrate as well which I believe equates to a more effective massage. My standards are pretty high and I can be a bit of a critic so for me to give 5 stars says a great deal. For the low cost and high quality of massage a big kudos is given to the team at Massage Heights on College Blvd. read more
