Booked a bachelorette spa day here for four of us. The booking lady was super nice and accommodating in helping us get what we all needed. Check in was fine but they seemed confused on some of the paperwork. They allowed us to have the private back room which was cool. However they didn't give us our snack until right at the very end and we only had like 5 mins to eat it and then was whisked off to the sauna and when we came back, the snack was gone. Which was disappointing bc the snacks were very tasty and delicious and such a waste of food. If we had that room the whole time, they should've given us the snack at the beginning so we had the whole time to eat it.. we each had at least two services. I had the massage and it was very average. The lady didn't know where my trigger points were at all and was just massaging with no regard for my personal trigger points. Then when I laid face up, she put a wet warm towel on my face and by the end of it, it was cold and felt like gross wet towel on my face. Also that evening, I had red bumps all over my face. And she completely fucked up my neck. She had no idea where trigger points in my neck were either and was just pushing way too hard on all the wrong spots. It was not great. The sauna can fit two people and you could get on YouTube and play whatever music you like. Which was nice. But I don't see the benefit in the sauna at all. Very odd. Anyways, the other girls seemed to enjoy their services for the most part so at least that's a plus. But I will definitely not be coming back. read more

I came here for my anniversary to have a couples massage and it was a great experience. The space was very clean and the service was efficient. They have you fill out some paperwork first and you can look at some products they sell until your appointment. There is complimentary coffee and lemon water. The have infrared saunas as well. We waited in a lounge area with a complimentary foot soak after we changed in their very large locker room. They asked if we had particular areas of concern that needed to be worked on and they were extremely professional. We had the massage for an hour and came out feeling like a new person! It's been a couple years since i have been to this spa. Previously i had loved this place. I had the purify treatment recently. It claims it will leave your skin smooth & glowing. The tech spent 15 mins applying 2 layers of product, then being wrapped up in a towel and heat wraps for 30 mins of laying on the table while tech was out of room. Then 10mins of trying to wiping off product. I experience no glow or no smooth skin. It's the worst treatment on the menu and waste of money! read more

Probably more like 2.5 stars. So disappointing after our first experience. My husband and I came here for another anniversary for a couple's massage and facials. Our massage therapists were running late which I can understand. My husband really enjoyed his massage. I thought mine was alright, but thought the gal was a bit snarky. My husband noticed, too. As for facials, I really liked Kim. I was disappointed that there was no scalp or shoulder massage, but that's completely my fault because I didn't know what type of facial my husband booked. My husband's facial was fine. The most disappointing part came when we waited 15 minutes for the champagne we scheduled. Both of the ladies doing our facials mentioned that they knew we were getting champagne next and walked by us a couple times. After waiting, we decided to just ask them to take it off the bill. I never write reviews but I needed to with this spa. My mother and sister were visiting from out of town so I booked us a massage and private room over the phone. The person I spoke with said I need to request the room in an email, I sent the email immediately. The day before our appointment I got a reminder call and let them know that I never received a response verifying that the room was reserved. She told me not to worry and that it was booked. Arrival of our appointment: After we changed into our robes we were lead to the general waiting area (not our private room). Three masseuses came out and lead us to our individual rooms. During my massage I asked my masseuse where this private room was because no one mentioned it or showed us where it was at that point. I was also confused because I thought the private room meant we would all get our massages together in one room. My masseuse said she would show me where it was at the end of the session. The massage it self was good and relaxing. At the end my massage my masseuse showed me to the private room and a few minutes later my mother came in as well. However my sister did not, and this is where the lack of communication and professionalism really reared its head. My mother began to tell me that she wasn't told where to go, and the only reason she found the private room was because she was looking for the bathroom and found it accidentally. My sister's masseuse didn't guide her at all to us and instead took her to the general waiting area. My sister who knew we were supposed to be together began to walk around trying to find us. Her masseuse who sees that she's clearly looking for us goes "oh are you looking for your family?"......and then takes her to the correct room. We sat there for 10 minutes and decided to leave after feeling very disappointed. We politely told the front desk about our experience expecting some kind of refund for the room since we didn't get to enjoy it together like we wanted and instead she just went "oh sorry about that, would you like to add a tip"!!!. Needless to say we will NEVER go to this spa again. They really need to be better about communicating with each other as well as their clients. read more

Today was the first time being extremely disappointed with my massage. Melanie was great but the overall experience was unenjoyable. The room was so cold, I could not relax or enjoy my massage because I was so cold. I had goosebumps the whole time, even after I had asked her to turn up the heat on the bed. I mentioned this to the front desk, and all they had to say was "sorry about that" after I had just paid a lot of money for a massage. It would have been nice to accommodate me for my negative experience. I hope they can get this resolved soon so that they don't lose loyal customers. read more

I experienced my first lymphatic drainage massage yesterday. I underwent liposuction almost 3 weeks ago. Summer, my masseuse, knew what she was doing. She was awesome! I did not experience any discomfort. She took her time and explained what she was doing. Upon returning home, I felt a huge difference. My circulation was jumpstarted! Amazing Spa! From the second you walk in the spa section you're greeted with peace and relaxation. Waterfalls, peaceful music, the works. The entire staff is catering to you. Refilling your infused water, providing blankets, warming your foot bath between services, just anything you need. I did a massage, facial, and a sunlighten treatment. The massage rooms have heated beds and space heaters. The massage it self was mediocre but the atmosphere was great. Same for the facial. I didn't really enjoy the sunlighten treatment. Essentially it's just a personalized sauna so I won't be paying extra for that service in the future. But I will definitely be returning and highly recommend. read more

I went in a couple of weeks ago to buy an image skin care product. They gave me two samples so that I could go home and try it. I said I would like to try it before I buy it, but they told me I could return the product if I bought it and did not like it. Since I didn't want to drive back, the spa is not that close to me, I bought the product being told that I could return it. I used the samples and it left my face greasy and did not work for me, the tint was very light and I was used to using a better tinted product. I went in to return the unused unopened product. She said I could only get a gift card. I said I was told at the time that I bought it that I could return it, since I had samples, I would not have bought it if I knew that I couldn't return it for a refund. no one told me that you cannot get a refund and that you have to get a gift card. I never would have bought the product at that time. I would have simply used the samples and then decided and went back and bought it, the product was almost $50. I didnt want a gift card to then be forced to buy some thing that I didn't want in the first place. This is poor business and should have been indicated to me at the time that I bought the product because I let them know I might be returning it! Why would I want a gift card now?? Very bad business, I would not buy any products here unless you want to then be forced to buy some thing because they won't refund your money! read more

After my initial visit that was less than spectacular, I was invited back to the spa to take advantage of the Sunlight Spa Treatment that I was unable to do last time at no charge. I was also informed the spa was making changes to their website to be more information when it comes to these treatments. This time was a much better experience - the front desk staff actually looked happy to see me and were very polite - how I would expect spa staff to be. Things were explained to me more calmly and thoroughly, which I appreciated as I had never had that sort of treatment done before. Just like last time, it was still very clean but not overly sterile seeming like some spas can be. The music and the aromas were just as nice as the first time so A+ for the ambiance. I truly appreciate the professionalism of management and the staff I interacted with this time. I will definitely be making a trip back! read more

Last week was the third and final time that I will visit Sunlight Day Spa. I'm currently 39 weeks pregnant and have had three prenatal massages at Sunlight. Twice with the same masseuse, which is the reason why I won't be returning. At my most recent appointment, halfway through my massage my masseuse proceeded to mention to me about how it looked like I had a BLOOD CLOT on my left calf. I have never received medical advice during a massage before, and frankly it terrified me. She kept bringing up how my ankles were swollen (I'm 6 days from my due date, of course I have ankle swelling) and I told her that my OB was aware and had been monitoring it - even though that was none of her business. After the massage was over, which she also cut 15 minutes short, she brought up the blood clot in my calf again, and even asked when my next OB appointment was because I should discuss it with my doctor. I feel like I was put in an extremely stressful position by someone who was not my medical provider and who did not know my medical history. I did tons of research that night and basically concluded that no, I do not have a blood clot, nor do I have the symptoms of one, and a blood clot should not be diagnosed through a one-hour massage. I left feeling panicked when I should have been relaxed. I won't be returning. read more

I had a 90 minute massage and a 90 minute facial with a small cold plate and a mimosa before my sauna. The massage was PERFECT until the masseuse fell asleep whenever she had a chance to sit down. I came here for a 60 minute massage on a Friday afternoon and left feeling wonderfully relaxed. They have different options to choose from, hot stone, deep tissue, prenatal, etc but I went with the relaxing for my first time. I was greeted in the lobby by the friendly staff and escorted into the spa area where I was given a freshly cleaned robe. I went into the locker room area (very clean by the way) to change and placed my clothing into a locker which I could lock and take the key with me. They also had cleaned rubber sandals to wear if you choose. I then was sat in what I call the relaxation circle area where I soaked my feet in rose petal water and filled out my client profile while I waited for my masseuse. There are magazines and complimentary chocolates and if you wish, you can order a cocktail but they do provide water. The profile asks for things like emergency contact, injuries, preference on pressure, etc. Next your masseuse comes in to dry off your feet to take you to the massage room. I'll admit I felt awkward about this because I wasn't expecting someone to actually dry off my rose petal covered feet but they really do try to pamper you. The massage table was warmed already when I arrived and I spent the next 60 minutes falling asleep to soft music and the most relaxing massage I've ever had. My masseuse Drew was great and spent extra time on my neck and back where I carry tension. I returned back to the locker room to change back into my clothes and spent time sampling some of the spa products before I left. Would definitely come back again and try other services. There seemed to be a lot of traffic for the Saunas which I have heard great things about. They also offer skin care services, their own cold pressed juice, and much more. Came here for a mini day vacation to relax and recharge. Booking was easy and staff was very responsive/prompt. The locker area was very clean and not busy. I was never in there at the same time as someone else. My massage was very relaxing. My masseuse was excellent and responsive to any requests for pressure changes. I did notice what looked like make up stains on the massage table sheets which made me slightly uncomfortable. I wish I would have said something because I'm sure the staff would have changed the sheets. The detox scrub was great. I wish the scrub and dry brushing actually lasted longer. The only thing I was wishing for was that the robes were heated and we had weighted hot towel for our necks while in the quiet area. Janece (sp?) was very helpful in getting it set up and was very prompt and professional with all the scheduling and details! The setting was perfect for our party of four. What a waste of time. I had an appointment for 2:15pm today, confirmed via email as well as a reminder email this morning. I took time off today and drove 25 minutes to get there only to be told that they didn't have my appointment. Their attempt to resolve the matter was to ask me if I wanted to book another day when they had availability. Complete lack of concern.
