I have been a member for the last 2-3 years. I have have enjoyed having an option that was close to home but I struggle with what others have mentioned for quality of therapists. They seem to have high turnover. I finally found one good therapist and I found I have to book at least a month in advance to get 90 minutes sessions and a time slot that works for me. I always look forward to starting a Saturday morning this way. I went in Sept 26 and everything was great until I was done. It seemed to go faster than usual. When I looked at the clock, I only had an hour instead of my 90 minutes. My therapist knows my standard and it seemed odd to her but she figured I must of had something else going on that day. The notes said I called and changed it. She mentioned it looks like she was also booked over her break that day. I asked about it at the front desk (ok, I complained) anyway, they tried to make it seem like I made the mistake, which I didn't. I keep very good notes in my outlook schedule :-) It appears they needed to fit in someone more important than I was and shorten my time and booked over break time to fit someone else in. To me, this is VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! The girl at the front went to talk to the manager, came back to "offer to put 30 minutes in my account". I was beyond surprised the manager did not come out at all to speak to me. Again, I am not an important customer, they don't value the money I bring to their business. I have always believed in customer service and when stuff like this happens, I make sure I take my money elsewhere and share with family and friends. My package is over soon and I will not be going back. I am lucky my therapist and I have a great relationship and I will be able to continue treatment at another location that is NOT Massage Heights. read more

Went there for a "couples massage" with a friend that was a member. The receptionists were friendly and inviting. We chose between several massaging lotions (really prefer the samba, noted for pain). Our masseuses (..massussi...?) were very personable. They proceeded with Swedish massages and met concerns or instructions quite well. It was a memorable and enjoyable experience going with a friend. I found their prices to be a bit more expensive, esp when you are suggested a 15-20% tip. As this was a similar experience and price as their competitors (Massage Envy), I might consider going to a locally owned business or individual and possibly "relax" the premium. read more

I called and requested to cancel my membership. The manager worked with me and agreed with the caveat that I pay for one more month - fair enough. Four months later, I'm still being charged and upon calling, the new manager refuses to work with me, stating that all she can do is send me to collections (monthly fee is being autodrafted.....) We booked a 60-minute couple massage with hot stones. Upon check in, I advised that I wanted a medium to firm massage and what my focus area was. I repeated the request to the masseuse. I forgot his name, but what I got was NOT a massage. It was more like a rub down. There was no pressure applied and no focus on my shoulder like I requested. My bed was not heated nor were the stones hot. They were lukewarm at best. This was my first time getting a massage and I was completely disappointed and dissatisfied. I left feeling more tense than I did when I arrived. There was no recourse except offering me the introductory rate if I rebooked. Needless to say, I left feeling like I gave away almost a hundred dollars. I'm very unhappy and won't waste my money again by returning. read more

Retired army wounded warrior and amputee. Was greeted very professionally however the massage was extremely unpleasant and the therapist lacked finesse. She told me she ran out of time and was unable to massage the front side. I immediately expressed my displeasure to the front desk supervisor .., explained it was a father day gift and I Was disappointed. She indicated that she understood and will inform the manager. They rescheduled the appointment and wanted to charge me for the service. REALLY. Unacceptable and extremely poor customer service. McKenzie McKenzie McKenzie! Please book your facials with her she was amazing! It's been about week since I got my facial and my skin is doing great. She's very knowledgeable about skin care and was very helpful to me. I have dry skins and some areas are drier than dry, she treated my skin perfectly. I got the Skin Enriching (Ultra Sonic Therapy) which helps your skin drink up moisturizer that is used. I was stunned that it actually worked and my skin was moisturizer after that and days after (I do have my own skin ritual). I slept wrong and my neck was so stiff, it hurt to turn my head. I walked into this Massage Heights without calling first. This was my first visit and i was in a lot of pain, so i went with their first available therapist, Jared. The massage Jared administered was so good, halfway through the hour session I originally purchased, I asked if i could purchase another half hour, and luckily he had the time to accommodate this. Jared has a thorough and professional knowledge of massage therapy and the muscular system. If you need VERY FIRM PRESSURE (and i did), Jared has the strength for it, and he also expertly popped my neck and spine. He was responsive throughout the session, changing the pressure as i requested and concentrating on problem spots that he detected. I felt GREAT after the 90 min massage (yes, it was the full 90 min, if not a few over). I could turn my head again! Jared warned me that I might be sore after, and I did wake up slightly sore the next morning, but still felt GREAT. Jared gets the full five stars. Definitely book him if you're needing massage with FIRM pressure on problem spots. He's strong and expert. The four star review was bc i didnt like being asked for my credit card number. It was a Tuesday night around 6:15 and i got their first available appointment which was at 7. the front desk asked me for a credit card number to hold the appointment, which i thought was odd - i was planning on waiting there until my appointment time, so i said i would be paying cash and i would stay in the lobby. the (professional and polite) front desk employee checked with her manager in the back (who did not come out) and said this was fine. the lobby of this massage heights is pretty nice, and there's peppermint in the air and soft music. the wait was comfortable! about 20 min before my appt, another employee came out and asked me some questions about where i was hurting, how often i get massages, what kind of pressure i wanted, etc. she was professional and thorough. I'm hesitating to get a membership because i have an insane schedule and I don't like card autodraft. from the other reviews,  it does seem like this place has some turnover. My experience was mostly positive (again, amazing restorative massage), so i will think about it. read more

I have been coming to this location for about seven months. I have had a guy named Leslie, a guy named Bo , and recently yesterday I got a guy named Russ. While I was getting my massage yesterday I told Russ that it was hurting when he massage heavily on my shoulders. I came home last night to two big baseball-sized bruises. Then when I contacted the office the manager told me that I ask for deep tissue massage. Yes, I asked for deep tissue massage but I also asked deep tissue massage from Bo and Leslie. When I complained about that she said that I had medium massages from Beau and Leslie. Which is far from the truth. Every time I see a massage therapist there I asked for deep massage because of my fibromyalgia. The fact that I have two baseball sized bruises on my shoulders didn't seem to matter to the management. The only reason I gave this two stars is because with Leslie and Bo I have absolutely no complaint. My complaint was with Russ and apparently management there doesn't care if you get hurt. Been going now for months and the service is always great, don't need to wait long, my appointments are always on time, and when I need to re-schedule they're always very helpful in accommodating me. They never tried to push me into buying anything (like most massage places do) once I realized I wanted to come in at least one-twice a month knew the best way to go was to get a membership which by far has been a great decision, plus the discounts are really good. I received a gift card to Massage Heights for my birthday, I was really excited to use it, I don't go get massages, so I didn't know the ins and outs of how the process goes. I went to the Pearland location Saturday about 6pm, I walked in walked to the desk and the lady at the front desk said, "Hello how can I help you"? I told her I'm her I wanted to get a massage. She rudely told me, "Oh it's Saturday were booked up and you have to come back another day, we don't do walk ins on Saturday and what was I thinking walking in on a Saturday asking for a massage. I looked at her and turned around and walked out the store. I've never experience such rudeness. I don't even get massages, so I would not have known I couldn't just walk in. I'm a totally new person to massages, so I don't know their procedures and practices, but for her to asking me what I was thinking was way out of line and totally rude and uncalled for. I drove all the way to the Vanderbilt location were I was able to get assistance, a massage, and the staff was much friendlier. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO THE PEARLAND LOCATION. I received a gift card to massage envy and chose this location (as it's closet to my residence) I called and scheduled a DEEP TISSUE massage, upon my arrival, the therapist reviews my paperwork and says she "can't perform deep pressure & that a deep tissue therapist isn't currently available." I take this up with the manager who says "you have to ask for a deep tissue therapist by name" ummm let's see I'm a FIRST time client and specifically asked for deep tissue when I scheduled the appointment how the hell am I supposed to know the employees names???!!! read more

My husband and I signed up for memberships shortly after having a good trial massage. We will definitely be cancelling our memberships the first chance we get. We are supposed to be able to get a monthly massage, but there is never any availability. I will call to schedule a massage and each time, there is a "no" and then the receptionist just hangs up. There are never any options or future openings explained. So basically, we are paying them every month for absolutely no services. Please reconsider getting a membership. I payed a visit to this location yesterday for a couples massage and I can't say enough good things about our time there. The front desk staff was very welcoming and wanted to know our concerns. My therapist Adrian gave me a great deep tissue massage. My boyfriend also loved his therapist Isis. Adrian did intricate detailed work on my neck, back, and shoulders. After my massage I felt like a new person. I would highly recommend this location and Adrian or Isis if you are looking for relaxation and pain relief. read more

I've been going here for my monthly massages for years. The service has gone down over the past few months. My regular massage therapist left and I've been trying to find someone to replace her.... But no luck. I tried to cancel my membership and they are making it very difficult. They are requesting that I put it in writing (which I did) and wait until the manager contacts me. Last year around my birthday my husband surprised me with a gift certificate for a massage and facial. I really enjoyed them and decided to sign up for a membership. The staff informed me that I had to sign up for a year contract, which I was ok with. Sadly this was my last good experience with this place. From rude customer service, to the therapists being late for my sessions, to my sessions ending 15-20 minutes early. I regret signing up for my membership and wouldn't recommend this location to my enemy. This place is stresses me out and I'm glad my year is almost over! read more

He listened to my needs and took ver good care of me. I have a healing broken ankle and he was very gentle, but was still able to massage my swollen leg.
