Responding sporadically, sometimes at midnight, and could never be reached on the phone during the day. In fact, I spoke to no one on the phone until my invoice couldn't be paid. She sent the confirmation email a week before our party, which should have been sent earlier, because it was the first time she brought up parking. It was not clear that we had to pay for every technicians parking. She mentioned parking validation, to which I replied the valet parking at the hotel was expensive and we could cover one car. I also asked how many technicians we were required to cover and how many were coming to which I never received response. The first technician to arrive had no idea how many others were coming. They arrived very staggered and unorganized which led to some botched nails as they were not dry before the massages. We had to make a plan to make sure we got to our dinner reservation on time which could not be moved. They were wonderful and got us through the day and did some touch ups as well. When It came to pay the invoice, multiple attempts did not work with the service they used. Which happened when I tried to pay the deposit as well. I also had questions on the bill that went unanswered. I tried to pay multiple times, I called my bank, I just wanted to get it over with. At that point, I finally got on the phone with Katrina who chose that moment to change my bill and answer questions even though I had already tried to pay my bill multiple times. The amount of stress I had from dealing with Katrina made me chew off all my nails before I even got my manicure.

I went to get senegalese twist installed, because my mother was informed that she could do them...boy was she wrong. But I don't want to go straight to the hairstyle just yet because there is a lot more! We were told that she gave us an appointment for 9am and on the day of the appointment she changed it to 10-10:30am. My mother and I get there and she's working on another client and has another person behind that one. She tells me mom and I that she will be 45 mins. late and apologized for the delay. My mother and I went to get some breakfast, but may I remind you all that I had just taken down my previously down senegalese twist and my hair was in array! We return and Ja'lanta is working on the second person and told us it'll take 20 mins. At this time it is 12ish. My mom told her to call us when she is ready. We didn't get a call until 3:30!!!! Senegalese on average takes about 4 hours and I didn't expect to leave at 7, but I didn't even leave at that time! I had my head washed and painfully blow dried by her assistant who was a high school that wasn't trained enough to deal with tender head clients! Then when her assistant was finished blow drying my hair, Ja'lanta told us to give her 5 mins. while she sat in the chair in front of us and took a nap. When she eventually got to my hair, she took a while trying to figure out how the DVD player worked...I was irritated. My time was not appreciated and taken for account. She didn't finished my hair until 2am!!!!!!!! She charged me $125 for the hairstyle and I wish I hadn't even paid that much! Now to finally get to the quality of my hairstyle. It is TERRIBLE! The strands are not consistent in size! She kept using different techniques to start and seal the senegalese twist. She got lazy and left these big bulky ends! The next morning five of them became undone! My mother left her a message as soon as we got in the house, 3am, and told her that the ends are horrible and that we are not satisfied. My mother asked her how to fix the ends and to call back in the morning. It is now noon and she has not returned my mother's call. I cried in my mother's car arenas we pulled away because they were that bad!! I saved up money for this hair style and I've had it done before and they have not looked like this! This hairstyle if suppose to last for months and yhe barely last a day! I am already fed up and appalled by the fact that she actually thought she did a "beautiful" job! No client should ever get out of a chair and be afraid to look in the mirror! This is so terrible, I wish I could find a more fitting word without cursing!
