I asked whether tipping was mandatory, and he repeatedly pointed to a sign on the wall, but nowhere did it state that tips were required. The situation became very uncomfortable when he continued pressuring me about tipping, got close to me, and compared it to tipping at a restaurant. When I still questioned why a tip was being demanded, he told me, "You know what, just leave. Don't come back here." I understand and respect that tips are appreciated, but customers should never be harassed or pressured into tipping. Based on this experience, I did not feel welcomed or respected as a customer.

Responding sporadically, sometimes at midnight, and could never be reached on the phone during the day. In fact, I spoke to no one on the phone until my invoice couldn't be paid. She sent the confirmation email a week before our party, which should have been sent earlier, because it was the first time she brought up parking. It was not clear that we had to pay for every technicians parking. She mentioned parking validation, to which I replied the valet parking at the hotel was expensive and we could cover one car. I also asked how many technicians we were required to cover and how many were coming to which I never received response. The first technician to arrive had no idea how many others were coming. They arrived very staggered and unorganized which led to some botched nails as they were not dry before the massages. We had to make a plan to make sure we got to our dinner reservation on time which could not be moved. They were wonderful and got us through the day and did some touch ups as well. When It came to pay the invoice, multiple attempts did not work with the service they used. Which happened when I tried to pay the deposit as well. I also had questions on the bill that went unanswered. I tried to pay multiple times, I called my bank, I just wanted to get it over with. At that point, I finally got on the phone with Katrina who chose that moment to change my bill and answer questions even though I had already tried to pay my bill multiple times. The amount of stress I had from dealing with Katrina made me chew off all my nails before I even got my manicure.
