Very professional set up. I was a bundle of tight muscles before. A happy zen traveler now. He will travel to do mobile massages - for slightly higher prices - but even so his prices are lower than local spas. He works at a local day spa and also handles private clients. I just finished an awesome massage with Les and it was exactly what I needed. I've been running around the island for a couple days prepping for a work event and haven't had much sleep and due to a surgery in July I haven't had a chance to get any body work. My muscles were screaming for some attention. I sent a message this morning asking to schedule later in the week and it just so happened that we could make today work. I was so excited all day and it lived up to the hype. If you've read my other reviews you'll see I'm a massage junkie! It is RARE for a therapist to put me to sleep and I fell asleep on the table. Each practitioner has their own style and Les has a style that I really enjoyed. Definitely more lomi than Swedish and the pressure was just how I like it. I personally prefer a medium to firm with deeper work when I need it. Les was able to read my body and ease up when needed or go deeper when needed. Les was also very responsive to my message and when I met him in person he was extremely personable. His rates were very reasonable and worth every penny. Les is top notch. He is a veteran massage therapist and his massage reflects skill and professionalism, all the way down to the last second. He called me back within the hour I called and was able to get me in the next day. He travels to you, if you desire, but I went to his place because of space issues. I was thoroughly messed up from the mid back down. I requested a 90 min and gave him the challenge to "fix me". He led me to his massage room and it was very professionally arranged, clean and inviting. He worked on me using a combination of deep tissue, sports therapy and threw in some serious get it done hip manipulations to realign my back. I could stand up straight again when he was done. It was fantastic. I'll be calling him to arrange massage for the rest of my fam while we are in here and I hope he can get them in because I know they won't be disappointed! P.S. I am on vacation in Kauai. This morning, when I woke up my back was hurting from coughing so bad. I looked up on Yelp and read all the amazing review from Les' client. I had 1.5 hours of massage today 29 May 2016. I should say that I am very, very pleased with the massage treatment that I received from Les!! When I went to his massage place, I did not know what to expect as this is my first time with him. All I can say is wow, his hands are an amazing work of art and he is great at what he is doing. He is also a very nice person and is very flexible because I called to change the schedule last minute. I got a 90 minute deep tissue massage from Les and it was amazing. I'm actually very critical on deep tissue massages and Les is on my list of best massages. I was staying at the Hyatt in Poipu and Les gave me the option of going to Lihue or coming to my hotel. It was $100 for 90 minutes and a $30 travel fee. For the quality of the deep tissue massage, it was a great deal. Last year, I got a deep tissue massage at the Hyatt and this massage was much better and cheaper compared to the spa. If you have a tight back or if you are an athlete, I highly recommend Les. He really finds all your tights spots and works out your tension/knots. But, if you would prefer a relaxing swedish massage, Les would be a great choice too. Highly recommend contacting Les, he returns calls on the same day. read more

I am partially disabled with a multitude of problems from dislocated ribs to bulging discs in my neck and back, messed up knee and ankle, and more... he came to my room and set up shop quick like a bunny and helped me so much. I always feel like I am cheating on her when I do this...but it's not like I could have made it much longer without getting some...she will understand (I hope) after all she just wants me to be healthy, right? It's a good thing Les is here though, and not in Honolulu, because I would probably have to break up with her...after 5 years of regular bodywork from her, and only occasionally straying (always always on travel...is that sneaky or kind) I would make him my one and only massage therapist. I was a bit wary because I've never had a massage from a male massage therapist before but Les was AWESOME! So professional, knowledgable and amazing at what he does. The amount of effective body work he got through in just an hour (without feeling rushed or uncomfortable like some massage therapists can do if you ask for certain areas to be focused on, on top of the regular massage to be done) is more than many therapists effectively get through in an hour and a half massage! Really impressed and grateful as I have chronic migraine and neck issues that massage *can* help if done properly, and he did. I found Les on yelp on our drive in to the south shore. He was completely flexible and accommodating....AND his pricing was the most reasonable of anyone we had been in contact with. Most importantly- his strength and ability to find the pressure points were incredible. My husband and I are athletes who love a good deep tissue massage and we had just backpacked 20 miles, run, surfed, and camped on the beach.
