After 3 or 4 mediocre massages back at home over the past couple years, I wasn't expecting anything great. I was flat out wrong. Both my wife and I agreed it was our best massage ever. I had Alyssa and she had Craig. We did 90 minutes and both felt the extra 30 minutes was worth it. We were in the covered lanai with the ocean about 75 feet away. My husband and I booked an oceanside massage. We had an amazing experience! I have had a least a dozen massages and this one was by far the best one I've ever had!! I explained to my massage therapist that I struggled with migraines and she knew EXACTLY what I needed. She found all my tense spots and basically fixed me! Having the massages along the ocean made it an exceptional experience. One goofy part was that you have to pay the massage therapists at the time of service via Venmo/Zelle/cash. Kerry the owner was responsive, helpful and very accommodating! My massage was done by Carla and she was fantastic! Very skilled therapist. We had an oceanfront couples massage with Craig and Arien today. Midday, we received a text with full details of where to go, what to wear, payment, etc. The ocean front massages are in a cabana between a hotel and the ocean. For the most part, it's secluded, but it is right next to the walking path, so people are walking by while your massage takes place. Passersby didn't feel as loud as the roosters, tho. While not directly next to the ocean, you can clearly hear the sound of the waves. Our massages were great. Loved the way Craig focused on the knots in my shoulders. My masseuse was Lori. She was absolutely amazing. She took the time to work on my problem areas and made sure to apply the pressure I needed/wanted. She was thorough, precise, and knowledgeable about what I needed to do for aftercare. She arrived grounded and set aside everything else to be fully present for me. It always sucks when you go to someone who carries their personal energy throughout the massage and you can feel it. That didn't happen with her. Lori prioritized me with caring, pure energy. This was not my first experience with Elevate. See my previous review - all of the accolades hold up. This is a very considerate, well-run business. They called me before my appt because it was raining a bit to offer a change of venue. Just one example of their proactive service. My therapist, Arien, was outstanding. It's like she's as much PT, OT, and physiologist as massage professional. There were times where I thought "wow, didn't know that muscle had an issue!" Her awareness is unique. The massage wasn't "this many of these exact things on this side and the same on the other side." I could feel her targeting very specific issues (again, sometimes without me being aware of them). I called Carrie looking for a couples massage ASAP as I was experiencing a pinched nerve under my shoulder blade and sciatica pain. She was miraculously able to get us in same day because Deanna was kind enough to stay after her shift! Amazing experience doesn't even explain it. What a great experience! We get massages pretty regularly, but nothing beats an oceanside massage with the sound of the waves crashing in the background while feeling the ocean breeze. Our massueses were fabulous! I definitely was relaxed and dozed off at some point. There is a walking path between the massage cabana and the ocean but with very little foot traffic except for the occasional chicken. When we visited at the end of March, 2026, I was experiencing some neuropathy in my feet, which I assumed was a bit of a flare from a previous bout with sciatica. Craig was my massage therapist for both my visits, and he is more of a spiritual healer in my opinion. Based on an MRI, I assumed the neuropathy came from a herniated disc at L5-S1. My husband and I had a 90 minute oceanfront couple's massage. Our massage therapists were Skylar & Melvia! They did an amazing job, even better than what we have experienced back at home or other vacation destinations! If we could, we would've brought them home with us! Lol. They made us feel relaxed and addressed our areas of concern during the massage. The experience is exactly as described, oceanfront. You wear your swimsuit under the sheet and there are privacy screens on the cabana. The cabana has a small public sidewalk in front of it that separates it from the ocean but it is not busy and was not bothersome for us! Not much to say other than an amazing 90 minute Lomi Lomi deep tissue massage. One of things that made it more enjoyable was that their cabana was very private from onlookers but yet close and off the coast which was very refreshing/relaxing. Just imaging listening to the gentle lapping of waves from the ocean. On top of that, Malia, the masseuse was great. The cabana is tucked behind the Hotel Coral Reef just off of Kapaa Beach. The Hotel Coral Reef is a small hotel so we didn't have to trek through a huge resort to get a 5 star massage. The HCR has their own parking lot so I didn't have to worry about finding parking. Plus, if you're in your Poipu, Lihue, or Kapaa area, you don't have to drive all the way around the island. Getting the appointment set up with Carey was really easy as well. From start to finish, this was a very relaxing experience and is definitely a must-do if/when we revisit Kauai again. read more

Where do I begin. We booked beach massages and although a bit more public than expected it was simply amazing. It was the kind of massage you can actually relax and enjoy. First there was no excessive pressure or kneeding. No over s stretching. The waves a little rain trees blowing bird sounds along with the rooster made this perfect. I almost fell asleep several times and felt muscle relax all over. Will do it again. Paying is strange as you pay part up front and then remaining and more tax with tip at end but it worked out even though reception wasn't great.
