This was my first massage in about 5 years so I started off with a 45 minute session. My neck, shoulders and lower back were the areas of focus. My masseuse did a great job. The rooms are nice and private, the background music was relaxing. They offer aromatherapy but I didn't choose to do that this time. Massage! My husband won for me 2 massages from this business in the past year! A lady named Tina took wonderful wonderful care of me! The most relaxing massage I've ever had! She never stopped mid back or shoulder or neck or on your head. It was always flowing strokes as she always followed through! She also doesn't talk unless you talk! A major plus! I had done "maintenance and Reward" massages for years, and Tina always understood my explanations of "aches" and her massages ALWAYS left me feeling better afterward (her deep tissue stuff will bring tears to your eyes)... called on Thurday, needing a massage, but Tina (My Normal) was booked up, so I was getting a "new girl", Nancy... maybe new to Massageworks, but Girl has been riding this rodeo for 30 plus years.... For the past 6 months, I have been beating my body to shreds with my 2 jobs and yesterday morning, I couldn't go another day without a massage due my stiff muscles from my neck to the lower feet. I started looking on YELP in my area and Boom, there was Massage Works reviews! I didn't call ahead or anything. I just walked in and I was greeted warmly by 3 ladies. I filled out a form and I was ready to go. I was instructed to pick an essential oil for my 1 hour massage so I picked Basil for anti-inflammatory. What was so serendipitous is, I saw these reviews and I wanted Tina and guess what? I got Tina! She was wonderful, kind, professional, very experienced, down to earth and she understood my body within seconds of the massage. Even if it's your first time, naked as a jay bird for a massage, Massage Works doesn't complicate their massages with a list to choose from, so every massage is customized to your body and your needs. If you want a fluffy, relaxing massage, you tell them or in my case, you need to get deep tissue with no mercy and have serious tension spots because you work yourself to the bone, you tell them that- it's awesome! They definitely have me as a returning client now. They have serious skincare offerings as well so you gotta check them out y'all! Did I mention very affordable??? This place was located in a little strip mall, you would miss it if you weren't looking for it. They are known for their Massages, so please take this review with a grain of salt. I'd been looking for someone to wax my under arms as everyone else was booked or on vacation. They had availability to squeeze me in one afternoon. The staff was real friendly and I had a super short wait time after completing some paperwork. My esthetician was nice and attempted to make small talk as she performed the procedure. Her technique wasn't what I was used to; needless to say, I was left with chemical burns that stung for a week. So, let me start by saying don't let the outside fool yah lol while the outside may seem a little scary the inside is very beautiful and relaxing. I haven't had a massage in 4yrs and was super excited when my hubby/son got me a massage for mothers day. When I got there I saw they had a mother's day special and asked about it. This massage was longer and came with more. Only thing is, I had only booked an hr long massage. Well my specialist was so nice she took time from her lunch break to give me the mothers day special. It was so sweet and so unexpected. The massage was so relaxing and very thorough. I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to leave lol. Sent my wife to the spa for a day. 90 minute massage and wax dip and peel for her hands. Only cost $120 and kept her pre-occupied for nearly 3 hours!!! Most peaceful day. Ever... All jokes aside, my wife thoroughly enjoyed the experience and stated that she needed that everyday of her life from now on... Not happening. But she emerged from the spa relaxed, happy and in the best mood I have seen her in for a while. Recommend any guy send his wife/girlfriend here as a gift, for quiet time, or even if you need a good "I am sorry" gift. I have visited this location for a massage several times. My shoulders get really tight and pained after workouts and stress. While the massage ALWAYS helps (they have bruised me but it worked, my muscles were messed up and I felt so much better after) they talked the ENTIRE time!!! I'm supposed to be relaxing and I had to worry about keeping up with their chatty conversation. I took my husband for his birthday and the young lady who took care of him talked about her fake breasts with him and talked the entire time.he said he was very thankful for the massage but preferred we go everywhere else next time. These yep talkers are the only two ladies who work every day except Monday. She also showed me her bra during my massage a month later....if we were friends that's cool, but it was very unprofessional.
