Rachel is genuinely one of the best I've ever experienced, and that is not something I say lightly. What sets Rachel apart starts with her credentials. She is one of the very few licensed massage therapists in this area who accepts insurance, and the level of training, coursework, and certifications required to do that speaks volumes about her commitment to her craft. She brings over 20 years of experience to the table, having worked everywhere from high-end spas to cruise ships, and that breadth of experience shows in every session. She is exceptionally knowledgeable about the body, we're talking gym training, mobility work, stretching protocols, muscular compensation patterns and she can have an intelligent conversation about all of it. Her myofascial release work is excellent, and she has the strength to deliver real deep tissue work when that's what you need, while also being equally skilled at lighter therapeutic work. Most importantly, she listens. She asks where you need focus that day, she pays attention to what you tell her, and she adjusts accordingly. That combination of advanced training, genuine body knowledge, and attentiveness to the individual client is rare. If you're looking for a massage therapist who treats this as the medical and therapeutic practice it truly is, Rachel at Equilibrium is exceptional. I've been seeing Rachel twice a month for over a year now and have no intention of going anywhere else.

If you are looking for alternative pain relief this is a great place to try. I have some serious…read moreneck issues that effect my hands and arms; often to the point of immobility :( PEMF (Pulse electromagnetic field therapy) is a great source of pain relief and I prefer natural pain relief over drug induced pain relief. PEMF sends electromagnetic fields through your body to open up meridians and blockages in joints, muscles and your insides... Stacey Stone is typically the woman who pulses you as you explain what is going on. It is difficult to explain without writing an article and really getting into it but I can tell you it is amazing! My woman cycle has been off since surgeries a few years ago and this has greatly changed that and my cycle is back to "normal"; I have gone without being able to extend my left elbow and left moving it with ease. I have gone to her when I can't look side to side without screaming in pain and she fixes me right up with her magic and pulsing. Also, on monday and friday there is a massage therapist who rocks my socks! Hands down the best massage therapist of my life ( countless massage therapist over the last 6yrs of this crap). She is able to manipulate the body to the point of really touching the spot that hurts deep inside the body. She has magic hands and light spirit. If you are intrigued my this odd review then give them a call and give pulsing a try for $45. If you are like me and in need of something different for pain relief then get outside of the box and make your way to healing foundations. Joanna at the front will check you and make you smile before Stacey or Julie come to take you to a room. Kind hearts and a real desire to heal and comfort. thank you Healing Foundations
