Casey made the work appear professional at first, but during the very first storm after installation, the skylight leaked so badly that water was pouring into the house. The situation was severe enough that our paying guests stated the home was unusable and checked out early because of the amount of water coming in. We immediately sent a licensed roofer to inspect the work. The roofer took photos and confirmed the skylight was installed incorrectly and not properly sealed at all. Basic, standard waterproofing steps were skipped entirely. This was not a materials issue. It was poor workmanship. We contacted Casey multiple times with the documentation and the urgency of the situation. He did not respond, did not offer to fix the problem, and took zero responsibility. He simply avoided us. No follow up. No accountability. Completely unprofessional behavior. This caused us lost rental income, additional repair costs, and unnecessary stress. Between the failed installation and the way he disappeared afterward, this felt like dealing with a rookie amateur rather than a professional contractor. Based on our experience, do not use Casey from CB Home. We are including photos of the installation to document the quality of his work.

So I called them out because you have a 5 year guarantee. Now each and every time they were called out, it never showed that it was anything I did, but it showed to be the fault of the product and they fixed. However, this last time I called on some flaws that showed. the rep was starting to say there might be a service charge and started to change their tune. This is a 5 year guarantee and never has it showed that it was any fault of mine in fact I keep good care of both tubs and showers. So if you have a 5 year guarantee, you should honor that. It is not the number of times they have to fix something, but the fact that it is a 5 year guarantee and should fix any flaws that are a result of their product. The rep had stated -we have been out there several times. Well, I am sorry but that is not my fault and if you have to come out several times to fix that, then you should honor the guarantee. You could look at that from the other perspective of the consumer and say of that was a car it would qualify under the lemon law. The technician came out and fixed a few spots and it was admitted that the last technician oversprayed. The technician stated -well it is not going to be perfect. That is kind of like saying -Your going to get your car repainted but it is not going to be perfect-so there may be marks and chips. Live with it. However, one of the spots was not fixed, so I called back the technician and he ignored my calls and then called Miracle Method and they also ignored the calls. I work in healthcare and after the year we just had, I do not have the time to continue to try to call them back and schedule and continue to have calls ignored. They are starting to act as if I enjoy having to make appointments and wait for fixes. I do not enjoy that and quite frankly wish I did not have to do that. The point remains, if it is your product and you guarantee, then it should be fixed. Now, understand that I do not think they do bad work and I do not think they are a bad company or have bad technicians, I just think that sometimes the product shows some flaws and a person should not be ignored and brushed off because they have called your company out to fix issues under warranty.

You make an appointement at Lowes, then they send your info to Miracle Method. They tell you Miracle Method will call you within 2 days. I went into Lowe's on 3/12 at 10 am. By 3/19 (1 week) I still had not been called. So I called Miracle Method. I was told that my info had been sent to the wrong location, she had to transfer my data and someone would call me. One week later I received a call. Total so far, 2 weeks. I scheduled an appointment at my house for 4/7. Ernie Franco was my estimator. He arrived on time, in fact a few minutes early. During this appointment, he was very professional and took very detailed measurements. This was a Tuesday, and he said I would have the quote by Friday. Well that did not happen. A week and a half later (4/17), I called Ernie looking for my quote. He did not answer so I left a message and also sent an email. Still nothing. On April 23 (another week) I called and again he did not answer. So this time, as it had now been over a month since I started this process, I left a message saying that I guess you did not want my business as you have never resonded back to me. Wow shocker, this time he called back. This was a Thursday. He said that he was sorry that his manager had gotten a concussion and she was not able to produce any quotes. Sorry, but you only have 1 person that can write a quote and for over 2 weeks she was not able to do that? He said that he would write the quote himself and send it to me by Monday 4/27. Well this is now 5/9 (almost 2 more weeks) and still no quote. I did stay in contact with my Lowe's rep (she was awesome) and kept her in the loop as to what was happening. She said she would notify her managers as Miracel Method was a new company Lowe's starting working with and obviously this was not the customer service that they were looking for as well. So basically 2 months from starting, I still have no quote.
