The word "Jiffy" implies that my oil change would be fast. It wasn't. It also wasn't a great value for the price. I can go to a Valvoline, never leave my car, and be in and out in 20 minutes (regardless if there's a line). Too bad there isn't a Valvoline in Twin Falls. Over all I was at this location for almost two hours waiting for my oil change. Luckily they had a good waiting area with some play toys for my 2 year old daughter, but even then the toys were kind of just thrown in the corner and not separated from anything else in any way. Overall, I needed an oil change and I got an oil change. Nothing to complain about there. All of the team members were polite and professional. Nothing to complain about there. It just took way too long, especially for the cost. Unfortunately, if there's a better option in Twin Falls, I don't know what it is. read more

I brought my car for a synthetic oil change and chose this location because of it's convenience. First, I noticed that the techs in the garage were not wearing masks. I talked to one of them and told him the air filter had just been changed, no sense in pulling it. I asked about the vacuuming, great! I put everything that was on the floor on the seats (I had been traveling so the car was messy). I did not wait long, about 20 minutes. Office girl (who was wearing a mask) told me the washer for the drain plug had been replaced due to wear & I got a $10 discount. For those who think $60 or $70 is too much, an oil filter and 5 quarts of synthetic oil runs at least $45, then you have to deal with dirty oil. So paying for a change is the way to go for me. What made the service just "ok" was, not having the car vacuumed (I realized this while driving away), grease on my door handle, and I wasn't even offered a hang in the car air freshener. On my way to the hwy I called, apparently one of the guys said I did not want my car vacuumed. Really? Please, listen to your customers! I've come to this location 2x since I moved here in august (yes I've driven my car that much), both experiences were good, but today was exceptional. I went in for a normal oil change and when I came back to pick up my car my battery had died (it was on its last leg already, it had already died and been jump about 2 weeks prior). One of the employees went and got his car to give me a jump and my car was not having it. He gave me a couple of suggestions of where to get a battery and I walked back to my house to get my husbands car and bought a battery. When my husband got off work, at 530, we went back up there to change out my battery. Because we just moved here and are in a rental with no garage he doesn't have any of his tools. James came out with some tools and helped us out. They close at 6 and it took until about 615 or so to get my battery changed out due to James having to finish up with some customers before being able to come out and assist us and some difficulty in getting the cover off my battery. He was more than willing to stay and help. He went above and beyond the normal jiffy lube services to help us out. I will definitely keep going back there for my oil changes. read more

I DEFINITELY WON'T EVER COME BACK HERE. For starters, $70 for an oil change is pretty steep. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. I dropped my car off and came back an hour later, expecting that I'd spend less time waiting that way. When I returned, my car was done but ALL FIVE of the employees working were busy with the ONE CAR being serviced. I waited for about 15 minutes, hoping for someone to help me. When I finally got tired of waiting and walked out into the service bay to look for help, I was rather pointedly informed that "It's a real busy day here, and I ain't no secretary." I'm sure it was real busy--because apparently it takes five people working simultaneously to service one vehicle. That kind of efficient use of manpower may help explain the EXORBITANT PRICES. I've been to this location several times. Each time, the service has been great to the point of even being over the top. The new (to me)waiting area is nice. The chairs are soft and the complimentary popcorn is nice for the kids. There is a small play area for those with kids as well. They do try to up sell you with various products and services. But I have never experienced any pressure to buy anything I didn't want to. All in all, things have been good! read more

I brought my car to have the oil changed here and they said I had a leak, that the oil gasket was cracked. So I took it to Hyundai and they said there was nothing wrong with it, except they didn't have a washer on the oil pan bolt. THAT'S BASIC INCOMPETENCE. How could you screw up something so basic? Never again will I go to jiffy Lube!! Took my Dodge PU in for an oil change and told the tech that you need to remove the skid plate or when you drain the oil it will get oil in the upper part of the skid plate. I said is that a problem and he said no we will do it. Oil change time was real fast, like to fast if they removed the skid plate. Went home and walked outside and noticed a couple of big oil puddles in my driveway. Took the truck back and ask them if they removed the skid plate and the manager said no he just hosed off the oil that was inside the skid plate. Told the manager that I told the tech that I want the skid plate removed and I guess he was just to lazy to do it. So I told the manager that you guys need to removed the skid plate and wipe all the oil off from it. The manager said they will. It wasn't even 10 min and they said your good to go. I ask the manager if they removed the skid plate and he said yes. The manager said there will be a little water dripping for a bit from hosing it off. I'm thinking on the way home that there is no way in hell they could have removed the skid plate that fast and cleaned all the oil off. I parked my truck in the street so see if any more oil was still leaking, and only after 1 hr there is a oil spot in the street. I crawled under my truck and reached over the skid plate with my hand and felt a lot of oil still on the skid plate. And looking at the bolts that hold the skid plate on were dirty and dusty and had no sign that a socked was on them. I got a old big bath towel and wiped the inside of the skid plate and that towel was soaked in oil. Not only did they lie to me, they lied twice. So now I have my truck up on jack stands to remove the skid plate my self and clean it right. It's bad enough that you get crappy service at Jiffy Lube, but to have them lie right to your face is what really pissed me off. And the sad thing is I had the same problem at the Jiffy Lube on Bluelakes a few years ago and after that I always made sure they took it off and they did. But that Jiffy Lube was real crowded and I was in a hurry and went to the Washington store instead since they had no one there when I arrived. That should have been my RED flag for me. I will never do business with Jiffy Lubed ever again!! I don't know how you people even stay in business, pathetic to say the least. read more
