I came here because a friend recommended this place. And it accepts walk-ins. My stylist was a Vietnamese, he was pretty quiet and his English wasn't the best. But here's the awesome part - I showed him a photo of how I wanted my hair (from when I had it styled before), and after thinking about it for a moment, he totally nailed it! The cut has great layers and you can tell he really cares about his work. Would definitely recommend checking him out. read more

Worst haircut of my life. He 'booked' me for a 3pm appointment. I get there, 2 people are ahead of me. He doesn't start until 4. I HAD long hair that I was trying to grow it out and just wanted the back trimmed up. With an electric razor he pretty much sliced off all of my bangs, leaving them uneven and ridiculous looking. He's also sketchy, preferring cash as payment. Don't let him destroy your hair, like mine. read more

The guy, he said he was the owner, got pissy as I was attempting to tell him how I wanted my hair cut. My hair is longish and he began to cut it with a scissor over comb technique in random spots. I've never seen scissor over comb on long hair before. It was very strange. I told him I only wanted 1" off and he ended up cutting 4" off on top. The odd part is that he did all of this in approx 10 minutes. It was a whirlwind of ineptitude and then he yanked off the cape. Now to top it all off there or a sale price for 1st time male customers. I told him that I was and he just stared at me and charged me full price. I wonder if there is a special price for last time male customers cuz I definitely am. Cont'd I got home and started combing thru it and I am truly amazed at how horrible this cut is. I called the cosmetology section of the DOL to file a complaint. Unfortunately there's not much they can do. She suggested contacting an attorney which I can't see me doing. Who knows tho because this pisses me off more and more each time I look at it in the mirror. read more

I started coming here after Michael (Lam) left the old barbershop that I had been going to for 25+ years. Michael is great at what he does and takes his time to make sure you feel good when you leave. He does the razor line up at the end and does an amazing fade ;) would recommend very much so! read more

Showed him a picture and he said no problem...layers layers...the damn prick took off a ton and then when I spoke about it he went all pissy.. worst place ever....don't go....happy to take comments or questions. Great location for a quick and cheap haircut. I don't have any hair style or whatsoever. I just need a Buzz cut. I usually get a haircut once a month so this is one of my togo place because its literally like 5 mins away from my house. It is only $12 too, and if someone can really mess up a easy buzz cut I just wondering if they should have there license lol. read more

I stumbled upon Master Cuts one evening, as it was the only place open at the time. I have not gone anywhere different after discovering Master Cuts. I was skeptical upon going, but each and every time I get the perfect haircut. The owner is a very friendly guy that has been doing hair for years, and it is apparent. I have been trying to tell others in the neighborhood about the business and the great experience I have had. I usually do a walk in, but I have also called in to get a spot if I am in a rush. This guy doesn't listen BE WARNED. He thinks he knows better than you. Everything thing was fine till I said don't cut the bangs. I comb my hair back with product. I slick it back and this guy is cutting my bangs. I'm like dude don't cut the bangs. Don't care if they are uneven. I don't wear them. I slick my hair back. My son was there hearing me say don't cut the bangs. Now I have to wear my hair different and hate it. Hair won't slick back like it did. This guy needs to listen to his customers more and not just assume he knows better. Just so upset about the experience. read more
