On top of this I noticed two other items were broken. To top this off someone there rummaged around in my center console and decide to help themselves to all of my cigarettes. I was very displeased. This is where the bad part ends and the good part starts. I called back and informed them of what happened. I didn't want to drive my truck there due to concerns of a possible oil fire because of how bad the leak was. They sent a flatbed to my house free of charge and to top it off it was the owner who came by to pick it up. I got my vehicle back the next day plus a full carton of smokes. I was absolutely floored by the fact they went out of their way to make everything right with no money out of my pocket fixing the original repair I paid for. It's nice to know there's a shop local to me that has good honest service for when something is outside of my means or time. I will certainly be coming back. Another shop in the area who I will leave unnamed messed up on doing another job on my vehicle and after having repeated issues with them I decided to hunt for a new shop and found this one. To top that off the other shop refused to work on my vehicle because of various aftermarket upgrades I did to it. It's their loss I guess and this shops gain. This shop is willing to do all the work I plan on having done here in the future and it seems aside from this incident which they made right they are one of the very few good honest shops who isn't going to charge you an arm and a leg like the Ford dealership across the street. 10/10 would recommend.

I…read moreRandomly chose this place to get my vehicle worked on-it was misfiring and A/C was blowing hot air. Everyone I dealt with was very cordial and the place is very clean, however, after working on my vehicle the FIRST time and was told the work was done- as soon as I cranked my vehicle, it was blatantly obvious it was still misfiring because while sitting idle it would shake and as I left to take the vehicle home it was still blowing hot air(cold was no where in sight). After they worked on it a SECOND time and was told the vehicle was fixed as soon as I cranked my vehicle, it was blatantly obvious it was still misfiring and when I drove my vehicle home no cold air in sight. After taking the vehicle back a THIRD time and was told the vehicle was fixed-now the vehicle is running extremely sluggish (barely wanting to go)-not until after they worked on it did the catalytic converter go bad, (at least that is what I was told was wrong). The A/C was getting cool at the time I left, but it didn't last and the misfiring was not as bad meaning it was still shaking a little- $2400 later, all I could do is take my vehicle home and park it. I definitely wasn't going to give more money to them to fix another problem that didn't happen until after they worked on it. Especially when the first issues are not fixed or fixed properly. NO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

    Review for Dodge of Dade City…read more I am beyond disappointed with Dodge of Dade City. From day one, this dealership has been unprofessional, dismissive, and careless with my brand-new vehicle. My 2025 Dodge Charger EV was purchased with only 53 miles on it and currently has approximately 800 miles total. Despite barely being driven, the vehicle is already experiencing major electrical issues. Rather than taking these concerns seriously, their team repeatedly minimizes the problems, claims the behavior is "normal," and implies the issues are my fault. I was even told that if I bring the car back and they "find nothing," I would be responsible for paying for my own rental vehicle -- despite ongoing documented issues. The level of care for customer vehicles is unacceptable. The car was returned to me with underbody and steering components left unscrewed and hanging, and when I pointed this out, I was told "that's how it comes," which is completely false and unsafe. They also failed to protect the interior of my car from dirt and muddy shoes during service. They allowed my vehicle to sit in their lot during rain, resulting in water intrusion into the vehicle and potential electrical exposure -- and then attempted to blame me for the resulting issues. This is especially concerning for an EV. They also refused to honor a tint repair by falsely claiming the tint was aftermarket, even though the car was purchased brand new with only 53 miles on it and the tint was installed by Dodge prior to delivery. At one point, they brought out a technician who claimed to "have the same car," yet he did not even realize the Charger was electric when I arrived. He then proceeded to dismiss my issues and deflect responsibility instead of properly diagnosing the problems. When I requested to speak with the General Manager, I was refused and instead sent a shop manager who was dismissive, unprofessional in appearance, and told me there was nothing they would do for me and that I should leave. This is not how customers should ever be treated -- especially when dealing with major warranty and safety concerns. This is now my third attempt to resolve issues with this dealership, and each visit has made things worse. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and technical competency is alarming. Dodge of Dade City needs new ownership, new leadership, and an entirely new service culture. I will be escalating this experience to Dodge corporate, as no customer should be treated this way -- especially when dealing with a nearly brand-new vehicle with legitimate defects. I strongly recommend taking your business elsewhere.

He notified Gene who i believe is the service manager in that particular office. Scott called out to him twice to get his attention and when Gene finally responded, he seemed to be anode. He then took the paperwork carried it to his desk - came back and threw the papers down on Scott's desk in front of me. Not only did he do this once but twice. Their slogan is "everybody gets treated as family." The treatment I received by Gene was disrespectful. Even on this very day I had just spent $897.57 . I am a retired Marine Combat veteran who understands something about respect and professionalism. You can't treat customers anyway you want to and expect them to return. i have taken my business elsewhere. I also left a message for the Service manager John Whittaker to contact me about the situation...never heard from him. I thankful that I am now somewhere the utmost respect is shown towards it's customers. The reason I wrote this review is because I have been getting emails and 15% off any service to come back to Jim Browne. They didn't have the courtesy to respond to my request to contact me, now they want me to come back and spend money. "I will NEVER return to Jim Browne Dade City for anything.
