After the service, I called mentioning that it wasn't looking finished yet, I was told that I should, myself, wait for 3 weeks then wet sand the area then wax it. If this was mentioned prior to the service I would be fine, but it wasn't. I guess to summarize my feedback: * Over-communicate what is and what isn't included on the service. * Make sure people understand what they are missing out for not going to a proper body shop space. * I'd suggest doing a second visit for so that the sanding and waxing can be done properly and so that any missing imperfections can be fixed. Timothy clearly takes pride in his work and did the repair correctly instead of rushing through it. What impressed me even more was the professionalism. This was a mobile repair at the house, and right before he arrived a large tree removal crew showed up next door with lifts, equipment, noise, and workers all around the driveway area where he was supposed to work. Instead of complaining or getting flustered, he calmly worked through the distraction, stayed focused, and still completed the project on schedule with excellent results. My mom is 90 and still enjoys driving her BMW Z4, so let's just say it's good to have someone trustworthy like this in the Rolodex when life happens. He told me he was a veteran, as a combat veteran, I trusted him, but I made a mistake trusting this guy... First he got into a huge fight with the appraiser from USAA because his rates are higher than usaa approved. The appraiser called me to let me know what was going on and even told me "the guy from Axe-A-Dent cursed at me!" - I didnt really believe that (then, I should have listened to him...) I called Axe-a-Dent about that and he denied insulting the appraiser and said that the appraiser was a liar. He was really nice to me, then kept calling me to tell me that USAA wanted me to take my car to "one of the USAA affiliated shops, he said all of those shops are bad and do a cheap work" and promised me that everything was going to be fine and asked me to leave my car in his shop, that he was going to get everything squared away with USAA and that I was not going to pay anything other than my deductible... ( I was about to take my car to one of those usaa shops) He calls me 2 weeks later to tell me the car was done but they missed a spot in the door and had to keep it extra days. I had to get a rental while my car was in his shop, so my concern was the extra money I was spending on rental with the work taking longer than expected... almost another week later, he calls to tell me my car is done. (I paid a full extra week for rental) I went to pick up my car, and the tire was still messed up. I was upset, he said USAA did not cover the tire and he didn't know why (that was his original answer)- then I said I need to call my insurance because I don't feel comfortable picking up the car while the job is not finished; he said "ok but that's gonna cost you storage fee!" - At that moment I was clearly upset at him and said: "You take AN EXTRA WEEK to fix my car because you could not do the job right the first time and want to charge me storage fee for a day while I wait to hear from my insurance???!!! " - His reply was, I quote: " GET THE FUCK OUT OF MY SHOP!!!" - Screaming at me, pointing at the door, continued to insult me! I said I have NEVER experienced such distrspect from ANY shop!!! Then he proudly announced that he got the USAA appraiser fired! He kept making fun of me, at my face, talking over me as I was trying to tell him that I had to pay an extra week for the rental car because he failed to fix the car right the first time and it wasn't fair that he wanted to charge me storage fee... Nope, he was not even trying to listen, he kept talking over me yelling at my face: "Look at you! Look at you! Look at you! - mocking me, he seriously said "Look at you!" While spitting his dip in a bottle like at least 20 times. I just wanted to pay him and leave! When he hands me the bill, I noticed that he had charged me EXTRA fees! I asked but he said i was wrong! I ended up paying everything because I couldn't stand his presense another second. I spoke to my insurance later and they said he definitely overcharged me $250 and they will give him a call to demand that he refunds me that money... They also confirmed that he IS NOT a USAA partner shop and that based on this whole experience, he will never be. They are also NOT accredited by the Better Business Bureau, I wonder why.... Let's see if he refunds me what he overcharged me now... BEWARE of his profesionalism, there is NONE.

Employees were outside playing with a drone upon arrival but didn't have the thought to clean up a mess of oil before returning the car to its owner (which may have prevented the severity of this to begin with). Once again, none of this a failure of Mavis according to management. I would've been fine with an I'm sorry, I'll talk to them and here's a coupon for your next visit. They made no guarantees but said they would try to set them for me. One of the managers (shout out Robby!) successfully set both my tires, and would only accept a tip for his guys as payment. It was a great customer experience when the time comes I'll buy my new tires on my work and personal cars from them.
