I recently uncovered fraudulent work from this company at my home. My concrete driveways are being replaced and the "piers" are sitting on clay from 10 years ago - never installed helical anything. We hired master lift 10+ years ago and paid them a pretty penny for Helical piers- I am truely baffled that this guy is still in business. I assume he never thought anyone would figure out he didn't actually perform on the contract. Avoid at all costs!!!!!! read more

I contacted Steve to get an estimate on piers he agreed to meet at 3:30 he was 15-20 minutes late with no call or text explaining why. I became weary and told him I was not interested anymore he proceeds to hound me and called me a Bitch for wasting his time and that I wasn't that important!!!! I sued this guy and won a judgement against him. was never able to recover the money. Very shady. Took my evidence of the promised work --and the paperwork from the job--from the table where we were sitting speaking with the judge. He is some piece of work. He looked fancy on the website, showed up to court like he was homeless and the guy he brought with him had not bathed in a long long long time. Disgusting. I just came across my original invoice and it was such a terrible ordeal I had to finally write in my review... Worst experience ever with any type of service company... bait and switch tactics... started off with Steve glasscock saying it will be $3,000 and then ... oh it didn't work so we are going to try this... oh it didn't work either, we're going to try this... Oh it worked almost like we told you it would and that will be now three times what we originally got your signature for... and if you don't pay us now immediately, we will put an lien on your property... This company is not a good company. It is impossible to get a hold of them. They will double charge you for warranty work. I cannot get them to even produce a receipt for services done. Couldn't get them to reseal cracks from lifting. It has been over a year and a half of working with this company and my house is not level. The communication skills even within the company is horrible. The first time they came out the employees were blaring music to the point yelling is unable to be heard along with rough housing and playing around on the job. The level of unprofessionalism and lack of will to do a job correctly is astounding. You will be wasting your money and destroying your home with the halfway done work which will force you to take them to court or hire a new company to do the job correctly. It's very unfortunate that I have to re-write my review of Master Lift. When the work was first performed, I was very happy. That was until cracks started appearing in other areas of my house. I was expecting that cracks would be a thing of the past but not so. When I contacted Steve, the person from Master Lift who I initially dealt with, his first response was that I would need additional piers installed. At my cost, of course. This struck me as odd since he had not seen the damage. He also wanted to come out and inspect but he's not a licensed engineer and therefore not qualified to do an inspection. I found that to be rather a strange request on his part. I did contact an engineer and in his review he said that the further damage was caused by the piers that Master Lift installed. Apparently, they were not adjusted properly. On the day the piers were installed, Steve showed up with his crew but he didn't stay to do the work. He left to work on another job and was supposed to return at the end of the day. He never returned. His crew told me that they had reviewed the work and it was fine. I trusted that his crew was competent and knew what they were doing. I was apparently too trusting. When I balked at Steve's insistence that I needed more piers when he did not know this for a fact, he became rude and threatened to void my warranty. A warranty is a legally-binding contact and not something he can void on his own. He doesn't seem to have a very clear understanding of contractual law. He also became verbally abusive and his last email referred to me as a "prick." I have to recant my previous review. I have another company coming to review the shoddy work that Master Lift performed and correct what needs correcting. This action on my part will void the warranty but that's all right. I would never allow Steve or any of his people on my property again. Please note that the response from the company to this review is a lie. I have posted a photo of the contract for the work that I had done, and it clearly states that it is from Master Lift, not Lift Master as he claims. (Note that I folded the top portion of the contract so that my address is not visible. Yelp does not allow personal information on the site.) This only shows that the owner of the company is not honest. He blatantly lied in a feeble attempt to try to make people believe his work is better than it is. On top of that, he lied about another company, insinuating that they do shoddy work. That alone should let anyone know that this is not a company you want to do business with. read more

It showing up 2x, President Steve blamed his lack of response on "my iPhone has been bad for two weeks.." What reasonable person who's job is sales and running a business would believe that? Told the we are done, finished and Enjoy the $600 check. I predict he and his company will go under as his leadership has a character flaw. He let Bridgette in the office do the responding which is pretty sad...she should quit. I will now have to spend extra money back by finding a "quality"professional to repour new concrete. 8/16/18 Has yet to call and bring closure and do the right thing besides take my$600. We would prefer to give a negative star. Required 1/2 payment in advance. The supervisor left workers with shovels and came back 4 hours later. The workers performed their work in 1 hour and then sat around for the next 3 hours. When the supervisor returned with the piers (3) they were not was required for the project. The piers were not properly placed and the cracks in the rock work did not close and the rock work on the house tilted, while it was upright prior to the pier. Master Lift did not come back for 2 weeks, and when they did, they failed to correct any of the problems. After advised that we were not happy, they gathered the materials and left, advising that the "boss" would be by the next day. Of course, the "boss" never came and has wholly. I called 12/17/2020 to set up an appointment for an estimate and spoke with the owner, Steven, who scheduled me for 12/30. Two days before the appointment Angela called to reschedule to the following week due to incoming inclement weather. So I rescheduled for 1/4/2021 and confirmed the appointment the day of. Around noon, Angela said Steven would call when he was on his way since I, too, would have to drive to the address where we needed the estimate. Unfortunately the owner never called or showed up. I tried texting and calling Angela but received no response. Hours later I got a text from Angela that Steven went by the house early. Really?! I had already told them I don't live at the house where the estimate was needed. I don't really believe he went at all. If he did, then clearly he did not listen to me or respect my time or the clients I had scheduled that afternoon. Trying to work with this company was a total waste of my time. read more

I would recommend Master Lift to anyone who has foundation issues. The owner was very helpful with explaining to me and my husband why our home had the foundation problems that it did. We were having a lot of problems with drainage and that is the reason that are house had foundation issues. Steve and his crew were very polite and they were very efficient with getting the job done. We ended up getting several exterior piers and they were also able to put in french drains. Our drainage problem is solved and all of the cracks on our home are closed. They made us happy customers. :) read more

I called and scheduled an inspection with Master Lift Foundation repair 2 weeks ago to get an estimate a few days before meeting with my home builder's inspector. An hour before the scheduled inspection time, I get a call from the foundation inspector and he said he's had a family emergency and is an hour and a half away. Not only that, but because my home is not 5 years old, he can't even do the inspection. I gave the age of my house when I scheduled the inspection. I explained that I've had this scheduled for 2 week, that I'm on and time crunch and would have found someone else if they couldn't do it. He didn't offer any assistance - just basically said it was the schedulers fault and he couldn't do it. Not saying the 5 years isn't a rule, but sounded very convenient considering his "family emergency". If this is an example of how they conduct their professional business, I wouldn't trust the foundation of my home to them. read more

We highly recommend this company for your foundation repair. They were timely in the initial appointment and the price was extremely fair. The crew was professional and worked very efficiently. They cleaned up after the job and made sure we were happy with the results prior to leaving. Brett made certain that we understood every step of the process. We recommended them to our neighbors and they promptly completed that job too. We have another project on our property that we will be completing this spring. In June, I hired Masterlift foundation to repair the sinking driveway and a slab on the side of my house. When they repaired the slab on the side of my house, they removed the tie wall and placed piers under it but did not backfill with dirt which caused the slab to sink and break in half. When repairing the sinking driveway, the company cracked the driveway slab down the middle. In addition, the company grouted my expansion joints and it is common knowledge in the concrete business that this is an unacceptable practice and causes further problems. Since the company was paid at the time the services were rendered with a check that has since been cashed, they have neglected to come back and remedy the situation. I have called him several times and the owner agreed that the job was not properly completed but refuses to fix the problems stated above. Two concrete contractors have reviewed the work and agree that it was not properly completed. As a result, the slab must be completely removed and re-poured. read more

I was very happy with the service, honesty and candor of Master Lift's Wayne T. He examined two areas of my house and told me both areas were not foundation related. He provided easy solutions and gave me recommendations on whom I should contact. Not everyone is willing to lose a sale when he could have easily quoted a price to me for unnecessary work at my house. I am glad to have a good experience with this company. read more
